Sorry! This is a release delay announcement...

Dear adventurers, please allow us to drop to our knees first: we’re truly sorry!!!

Our magical tower-defense game Relic Guardian, originally scheduled to launch on September 3rd, will be delayed.



Just yesterday, Silksong announced its release date of September 4th. (Yes, we can finally unequip Unbreakable Luck!)

We’d love for everyone to have enough time to fully enjoy the world beyond Hallownest.
From our perspective, launching so close together would make our promotional work extremely difficult.

[h3]Therefore, we’ve decided to move our release date to: October 22nd![/h3]

We know this means you’ll have to wait a little longer, but during this time we’ll continue polishing the achievement system and the difficulty editor for challenge stages. Our goal is to bring you a more complete and enjoyable experience at launch.

We’re deeply grateful for all your support and encouragement along the way—every comment we see gives us strength! Please bear with us a little longer, and on October 22nd, join us on Vortex Isle’s magical adventure!

As a small treat, here’s a little in-game Easter egg for you: Vortex Isle, Hollow Knight edition (?).

Relic Guardian is a pixel-art fantasy tower defense game where you play as Fran, a summoned hero who joins forces with the brave “Maiji Tribe” to protect Vortex Island.
On this magical island, Fran has more to do than just plan the battlefield and place towers—he can also get up to plenty of… “extra” activities:

🐱 Transform, dance, summon cats



🍄 Take on the role of a mischievous rogue and bully (?) the island’s fantastical creatures.



⚔️ And if all else fails—you can even throw yourself into the fray to hold enemies back and buy your allies more time.



Although it’s a tower defense game, every stage hides interactive devices and little secrets. We hope you’ll always feel the thrill of discovering something new as you play.

The overall pace is light and casual, but for hardcore players, we’ve also prepared a Challenge Mode. Switch anytime—play your way!

  • Five uniquely themed continents with over 20 stages;
  • 28 talent-tree skills to freely mix and match;
  • 9 hero forms (tank, AoE, mage, etc.) to handle different levels and enemy types;

Lately, we’ve been busy not only guarding (?) Whirlwind Isle but also teaming up with the Maiji tribe to take part in The Mix Summer Game Fest!
Although we might be the last dev team to submit our repo… (Really sorry everyone, dbq!)

3.26 Demo Update Log

Hello everyone!

We've just rolled out a new demo update, addressing issues related to Pani·Asrai and optimizing the battle mechanics and attack effects of the Lake Fairy in Stage 1-4. Additionally, we've made improvements to the upgrade logic for defense towers.

【Fixes】
  • Fixed an issue where Pani·Asrai would stop moving under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an incorrect reward configuration in Stage 1-4—rewards will now unlock properly.
  • Fixed an incorrect counter issue for Sacred Tree Sharpshooter Form 4.
  • Fixed an issue where Molten Flame Demon could infinitely stack attack power.
  • Fixed several minor bugs.
【Optimizations】
  • Adjusted the battle mechanics and visual effects of the Lake Fairy in Stage 1-4—she's now more powerful!



  • Improved the display of attack ranges, making them more precise and accurate.
  • Optimized the upgrade logic—now, upgrading high-level defense towers and unlocking skills no longer requires clicking.
  • Various minor optimizations.

Our demo has been updated! Here is the 2.26 update log.

Hello everyone, our demo has been updated! This update mainly focuses on fixing the bugs we've collected from your feedback.

Here are the fixes in this update:
  1. Fixed a bug where the boss wouldn't appear after the cutscene in certain situations.
  2. Modified the UI and detail display for barracks-type towers.
  3. Fixed text alignment issues in certain cases.
  4. Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would disappear if the hero portrait was clicked to summon before the tutorial UI popped up.
