Patch 1.0.2

Version 1.0.2 is bringing some features and improvements we've received requests for from all of you, so thanks for those!
A preview of the item being crafted has been a particularly requested thing, so that's now here, as well as a keyboard shortcut to the quest log.
Also included is a performanc optimization when applying a rune effect to a large horde, a couple of new item affixes, and a smattering of bug fixes of course.

Here's the change log:

- Added preview of item craft
- Made early levels in Dimension 2+ more difficult
- Reduced the effect of Staff Cooldown reduction item property at higher levels
- Two new item affixes that increase Poison/Fire damage to enemies
- Rebalanced mana costs to be cheaper at lower levels, and more expensive at higher levels
- Rebalanced summons to last longer at lower levels, and less at higher levels
- Fixed loot system bugs
- Fixed stash gamepad tooltips orientation
- Fixed giants not being able to fit into a tunnel at Plunderer's Retreat
- Fixed Dimension 4 not being unlocked
- Fixed Areas Cleared miscalculation
- Hidden levels now remain visible on the world map after you have visited them
- Added 'Q' as a shortcut button to open Quest Log
- Fixed mana cost affix duplicating/compare bug
- Aligning leaderboard names after 1k/2k ranks
- Optimized beam drawing
- Blocked dropping of items with level req > max player level
- Fixed word order for items in Chinese
- Renamed Animalism talent to Food Chain, to avoid confusion with the Animalism affix

First Post-Release Patch

The first patch 1.0.1 is out now, with tons of tweaks and fixes, based on all of your wonderful feedback!
We'll be taking a short Easter break as usual here in Finland, but there's plenty more improvements to make come Tuesday.

Thank You! - Post Launch Update #1 in Beta

First of all: Thanks to all the players. The launch went better than we expected. In fact Undead Horde 2: Necropolis has a bit more players than the first game at this stage. We weren't expecting that, so a huge thanks to all you people! We couldn't be happier as Undead Horde 2 is a really important product for us this year.

Also, the first post-launch update is now in beta. This means it won't be automatically available yet. You need to opt-in to play the beta. If you want to do it now, here's how to access the beta branch: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2065810/discussions/0/3720566578371791473/?snr=1_5_9_

We'll move the beta build into main once we're confident it's stable and "better" than the previous main branch build.

Rise and Conquer: Undead Horde 2: Necropolis Exiting Early Access!

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis is now exiting Early Access. The game includes all the planned and unplanned features we aimed to incorporate. Much of the content added during the Early Access period emerged from the EA process itself. Our most sincere gratitude goes to all the players who began playing early!

We started with a rough draft of Necropolis in Dec 2021...



...and ended up with a glorious Necropolis in March 2023!

At some point there'll be a larger update which may or may not include new features (this depends on whether we encounter some needs which can be addressed effectively).

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis Full Launch This Thursday

We have a date: This thursday March 30th! Undead Horde 2: Necropolis will leave Early Access on that day. The game now has all the planned features plus some unplanned features we picked up during the Early Access from all of you guys! Thank you!

We'll be releasing a more complete update announcement on Thursday. We will also have a launch sale roughly similar to EA launch sale.

The full version has all the planned localizations plus an endless NG+: You can play as long as you can survive, but the difficulty increase should bring an end to even the most skilled necromancers in the higher dimensions.
