We’re not going to lie… we’ve got a lot on our plates. Currently we’re working on many various activities and mechanics but we’d love to give you a little insight into our progress. During today’s trip, we’d like you to keep in mind that on some gifs you’ll see placeholders, graphics and visual effects may and will be further improved or changed. 🙂 With that being said, let’s dive right into today’s devlog, shall we?

[h3]Let’s start with the minigames. The sound is a very important part of our game therefore one of our biggest challenges is creating appealing and functional rhythm based minigames. For the demonstration purposes, we’ll take you through some of the steps of creating dumplings. 🥟[/h3]


[h3]As you can see, some of the tasks will reward you additional experience points if done quickly, while some require you to hit the right button at the right time.[/h3] 👍 Let’s take a look at cutting!


The cutting minigame is about rhythmically hitting each of the lines to achieve perfect cuts. We’d love to know your opinions on those minigames, we can't wait to hear your ideas! 🔥

[h3]Moving out of the kitchen, let’s meet one of the customers who’s interested in this very dish! He’s still rough on the edges but it’s his first time meeting you so show him some love, will you? 🤔 The following gif presents taking orders![/h3]


But what exactly needs to be done before the guests can come into the restaurant? Let’s run through some of the early morning activities you’ll have to complete before the opening.
First things first, you’ll have to tidy up the place, clean the tables, put down the chairs and clean the floors. 🪑




[h3]Once you take care of that, you’ll have to restock all the supplies, paper in the toilets, napkins and flowers on the table so they’ll be ready whenever guests come in! 👍[/h3]


[h2]Once those steps are completed you’ll finally be able to start the real work.[/h2]

[h3]Currently, we’re still working on improving and creating the models, animations and balancing the game. Many elements have already been programmed and as we progress with the development of the game we’ll share more of them in devlogs for you to take a look.[/h3]
