We would like to share some of our most recent development progress with you!



Introducing: the corrupted lands!



As our heroes advance on their journey, they find that the once beautiful lands have been corrupted by the magic powers of Madrok’s malevolence as he tightens his grip around the world.
Strange forces twist these lands, filling the fiends you encounter amounts of power unseen by any living being.
As you progress on your journey you may suddenly find yourself in one of these new magical acts.
But don’t worry! As long as your heroes fight together, nothing can stop them!

We hope you are looking forward to trying these new, more difficult acts in the full version!

The Occultist is the fastest hero in all of Ragtag Heroes - and possibly the strongest.
With an initiative of 12 he is even faster than the Scoundrel!






Stun Skull: This skull stuns all enemies and delays them by 2 in the first round of battle.
This ensures that he can act first and maybe down-right staggers weaker enemies.






Astral Push: Deal 4 damage, stun 3 to any enemy you like.
Deflect: Gain 5 Shield. Put a card from your draw pile on top of it.
Fickle Flames: Draw a card. Deal Magic damage, then repeat additional times equal to energy cost of drawn card.
Limp Touch: Stun a close enemy for 6.
Telekinesis: Telekinesis always has a reserved spot in your Occultist’s hand. With it, he can choose a card from another hero’s draw pile and put it on top of it.




Managing decks is one of the Occultist's specialty, be it his or other heroes.

Astral Smith: Astral Smith lets you upgrade all cards in another hero’s draw pile for the remainder of combat.


Another is his sheer speed.
The Occultist outspeeds most monsters. He slows them down with his stunning spells so his buddies can go in for the kill.

Delirium: Delirium applies 12 stun to all enemies.


This is just a small part of the Occultist’s tool kit though.
The Occultist can lower enemies' magic defense, summon vengeful spirits that deal additional damage for each attack that is played (by ALL heroes!) and much much more.

We’re happy to announce the development of Ragtag Heroes is progressing steadily and we’re on schedule for release later this year.
In the meantime, we decided to make a beta to get your feedback and improve the game!
Here’s what you need to know:

The beta will feature new content, including:
a new third act with new enemies and environments

a brand new hero, the OCCULTIST! This hero specializes in shock spells and telepathy, which he uses to hand out cards to fellow combatants!

Balancing changes

The beta will take place from July 26th, 12:00 am CET until July 29th, 12:00 am CET
During this time period a limited amount of participants will receive TEMPORARY keys to our beta to play the game
Beta participants will be mentioned in the game’s credits (unless refusing to be)
