Small Hotfix

Hello community,

Thanks for all the support and love on the game, here is a small hotfix! 🔧

  • Fixed some cases that could cause a crash during the true ending fight.
  • Fixed a case where dying in cyberspace would not teleport out of it.

Gameplay Improvements
  • Added glowing outlines to enemies when only a few remain in terminal rooms
  • Added a short invulnerability time after resurrecting
  • Added 2 new level tiles in the second biome
  • The position of some buttons and doors in the third biome has been adjusted
  • Prevented accidental elevator activations with AOE abilities and changed color of elevator buttons on the ground


Balancing
  • Increased enemy amount in the first section of the third biome
  • Easy mode has been tweaked to be more forgiving: enemies drop health more frequently, reduced enemy movement speed, reduced enemy projectile speed


Fixes
  • Fixed sometimes not being able to reload
  • Fixed enemies sometimes spawning stuck in the ground
  • Fixed some cases where enemies could get stuck inside walls
  • Improved enemy pathing and fixed issues of enemies failing to reach the player
  • Fixed resurrecting with "Emergency Reboot" sometimes leading to an unresponsive state
  • Fixed cases where you could be falling down forever
  • Fixed a case where you could get stuck in an elevator in the third biome
  • Fixed a hole in cyberspace in true ending
  • Fixed rarely getting stuck after teleporting with Rupture
  • Fixed flying enemies sometimes going through walls when dodging
  • Fixed flying enemies getting stuck and failing to follow the player
  • Fixed "found loot" and "enemies killed" counters not resetting after terminal rooms
  • Fixed an unresponsive state when dying in cyberspace after completing the objective
  • Fixed the boss shotgun attack hitting through walls
  • Fixed grenades sometimes dropping to the ground when thrown
  • Fixed a case where the player would keep shooting without pressing the button after leaving cyberspace
  • Fixed some cases where music would change abruptly
  • Fixed missing cyberspace effect in true ending

TIPS - How to unlock colors

It's been already a week since Simulakros is available! 🥳🤖
I hope you like playing! The best way to support the game is sharing a review 😊

This first tip is about unlocking color combinations. Here is the list of in-game challenges that you will need to beat to get all of them!



  • Complete a Terminals room in less than 1 minute.
  • Get an S rating in one level.
  • Beat the first boss in under 5 minutes.
  • Beat the second boss in under 10 minutes.
  • Complete a run in less than 20 minutes.
  • Complete a run taking less than 5000 damage.
  • Complete a run without any neural connection equipped.
  • Complete a run with an S rating.
  • Beat the first boss in hard mode.
  • Beat the second boss in hard mode.
  • Complete a run in hard mode.

  • Fixed collision issues with some doors in the third biome
  • Fixed enemies sometimes not moving
  • Fixed second boss ai sometimes getting stuck
  • Fixed enemy spawning during second boss
  • Fixed drones shooting from above the player
  • Fixed challenges not unlocking: beat 1st boss in hard mode / beat 2nd boss in hard mode / complete a run with an S rank.
  • Fixed final boss not performing some attacks and improved balance of the encounter
  • Fixed incorrect behavior with teleport ability and final boss
  • Fixed some spots in second biome that would not respawn the player when falling down
  • Fixed secret ending not loading correctly
  • Fixed incorrect camera fov in ultrawide aspect ratio
  • Fixed "Frenzy - Homing" and "Tactical Shot" powerups that were not working
  • Rebalanced health drop chance and healing amount
  • Flying drones projectiles are now a bit easier to avoid
  • "Efficiency" neural connection has been buffed
  • Improved visibility of health pickups
  • Minor fixes to some powerups
  • Improved auto-detect of recommended graphic settings
  • Improved biome 2 music
  • Smoother music transitions when out of combat

Hotfix - Mouse cursor and Input rebinding

[h3]Hello everyone, I just released an Hotfix patch for the mouse cursor issue and the input rebinding bug.[/h3]

Patch note
  • Fixed mouse cursor imprecision
  • Fixed input rebinding during gameplay
  • Improved graphic settings for shadows to improve performance
  • Improved visibility of Shoot-to-Activate Buttons
