Neon Blood is a JRPG/Graphic Adventure with a 2.5D aesthetic, based on the use of 2D PixelArt sprites with 3D-modeled environments. This first trailer, titled Welcome to Viridis, unveils gameplay from Neon Blood and several spectacular scenes animated by the fantastic team at Sunshine, known for their work on several major titles in the industry in recent years, both in trailers and in-game animations.

Neon Blood will be featured in the Chinese New Year Steam Sale thanks to Astrolabe, a publisher with a solid presence in Asia and America, who has already collaborated with Meridiem Games for the release of The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo.

About Neon Blood
In the year 2053, after the Third World War, humanity was reduced to a single megacity, Viridis, formed by two cities, the luxurious Bright City and the dystopian Blind City.
Axel McCoin, a detective from Blind City, will be motivated by his ideals to rebel against the injustices caused by the drastic class difference between the two cities that exist in the dystopian society they inhabit, becoming a symbol of a revolution.
In his adventure, Axel will encounter powerful allies who will help him in his purpose as well as enemies who will stand in his way, such as Ruby Emerald, who will do everything possible to thwart Axel's plans.

FEATURES:
● Neon Blood features an elaborate and deep story with a cyberpunk theme that serves as a thread to tell Axel's story, which will be marked by the relationships he will establish throughout his adventure, showing the player the different realities of the two cities.
● In Neon Blood, we embrace a 2.5D aesthetic, based on using 2D PixelArt sprites with 3D-modeled environments, maintaining an aesthetic differentiation between flat characters and the environment with depth.
● Additionally, in the art department, we have two very marked and contrasting aesthetics, further emphasizing the differentiation between the two cities, with Blind City being purely Cyberpunk and Bright City having a more futuristic aesthetic marked by Sci-Fi. You will discover the secrets of Viridis thanks to Detective Axel McCoin's Investigation skills in a revolution that will demolish the foundations of society.

Introducing, Wild Cat Records!

Wild Cat Records was born in 2004 as a record label founded by Ales Elósegui and Stuart Kelling, a former member of the electronic music band Freur (currently Underworld). In 2010, faced with the decline in physical album sales, Ales reinvented the record label, transforming it into a producer of soundtracks for film, television, and video games. Sergio Villar joined the label in 2014.

Together, they have participated (and continue to do so) in some of the most important international film festivals such as SSIFF, ADE, Berlinale, American Film Market, Cannes International Film Festival, Annecy, and more. As of today, they have over a hundred registered compositions produced for various European and American feature films and short films, including titles like "Mafia," "Story of overcoming adversity," "Within," "Última parada," and "A.P.P." among others.

During the 2020 pandemic, one of their American film shoots was canceled due to loss of funding, which was a significant setback. However, it led them to focus their efforts on video games, given their passion as gamers. They ended up signing a co-production contract with Red Mountain, producing and composing the soundtrack for the video game "The Crown of Wu."

Since then, they have been featured speakers at festivals like Gamepolis (2022 and 2023) and BIG Conference (2022), sharing insights into the creation of soundtracks and how the business of soundtracks works in the world of video games. They have also been seen live on their Twitch channel, showcasing their work process and discussing legal topics such as copyright.

Currently, they are working on the soundtrack for the documentary "Trashumantes" by Argentine director Tato Moreno, an upcoming animated short film (to be announced in the coming months), and soundtracks for video games like "Exorcizamuste" (Conservation and Ruin), "Whisper of Souls" (Sun Reborn Entertainment), "Facies Hermetica" (Red Mountain), "Opus Magna" (Red Mountain), "Vampire: Hearthless Symphony" (Entalto Studios), and the one at hand, "NEON BLOOD" by "CHAOTIC BRAIN STUDIOS."

"Neon Blood" is a neon-noir detective adventure set in a future reminiscent of Blade Runner. For this project, the Wild Cat team has dusted off their '80s synthesizers and is creating an original soundtrack that promises to captivate audiences. It aims to transport "boomers" back to futuristic '80s movies and evoke memories of The Weekend's pure style for younger audiences, combining influences from atmospheric soundtracks like those in the film "Drive."

Stay tuned for more updates on the game's development and soundtrack, but for now, a little patience is required.

They are important to Silver's story, managing 'The Rogue.'

Excellent boxers

Generally, the boxers Silver taught were calm and good-natured, reserving all violence and anger for the ring. While it's true that they have a small addiction to nano stimulants, a substance all boxers use to enhance their performance, which sometimes makes them lose control. There are so many of them, and together they have so much attack power that they are mistaken for a gang when they are actually athletes.

They typically go shirtless, showing off their large arms and agility that doesn't quite match their appearance. They are all very muscular and intimidating, although they never go looking for a fight.

They gradually formed in the art of boxing, all being pupils of a fallen-from-grace Silver. Silver began teaching boxing as a way to thank the sport that gave him everything and to escape reality after losing it all. Gradually, more and more young people came to learn his techniques, as he was one of the best, inevitably forming greater rivalry among his students. This led Silver to open the ring under The Rogue, so they could face each other and set aside their rivalries - let the fists speak! This attracted the attention of people who came to watch the fights, eventually leading to organizing underground fights among his own students.

As they attracted attention, many wanted to pay them for protection in their establishments, giving them the reputation of an organization or even a mafia, although they were just providing a service. With the worrying strength and fame they were gaining, other organizations like the Void kept a close eye on them. However, it wasn't until they refused to sell Spark to them, rejecting a deal with Ruby (our main enemy), that they truly had a reason to go after the Stray Dogs. The Void and the Skaal, under Ruby's orders, fell upon them, resulting in them currently being at historical lows, although they haven't completely fallen, they lost almost all their power.

Time has passed, and although they have reopened the legendary The Rogue, Silver has no hope left; he lost everything twice, when life smiled at him, he fell again. The Stray Dogs exist only in Silver's memory, but he doesn't lose faith that at some point, he can teach the sport of his life again and thus save young people in a bad situation, refocusing his negativity on the sport.

Helping the lost or lonely youth of Blind to find a passion for boxing.
