[h3]There is one aspect that we haven't talked about much yet, even though it's really important in the game. That's the NPC's, or survivors of Aurora 5.

[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][h3]The survivors in RetroSpace are characters whose encounters will serve as milestones in the game. All the 6 of them are a rather strange and unique characters who not only adds to the main story but also allows us to learn about their own personal stories as well.

[/h3][p][/p][h3]But these survivors are not just world-building elements; we can also recruit them to our team, so they will join us at our base (The Janitors' Haven), where they will unlock new game mechanics for us.

For example, recruiting one such character will unlock the option to purchase and develop tech gadgets, while recruiting a different one will unlock the weapon upgrades.

[/h3][p][/p][h3]In addition, each character will have their own special mission or mission line, which will be completely optional to complete, but may contain valuable world-building information or even some special loot you won't find anywhere else. (some of them can also affect which ending you'll get in the end)

[/h3][p][/p][h3]Since we don't want to spoil all of them, for now you can see pictures of Joey Bogart, the pleasure-bot and DJ, as well as Marco Rosso, the only mutant aboard the Aurora 5 who has completely retained his sanity.
