On today’s post we will reveal the DLC price and also talk about the new status effects we’ve created.

This DLC will be 4.99$/€

[h2]New Status Effects[/h2]

• Hexing: You can find this status effect on Lili’s weapons, new Tower weapons and a Tower deity. Hexing makes enemies more vulnerable so they receive more damage each time you hit them.
  
• Enlightenment: This status effect will be Garth exclusive. Enlightened enemies have a probability of creating a healing orb that falls from the sky.
  

[h2]New potions[/h2]
The Dark Potion grants Dark Hearts. These hearts apply hexing to enemies when they break.



[h2]Extra content[/h2]
As we announced a few weeks ago, this update will also come with FREE content for the main game, so get ready for another new character and more!

On today’s devlog we are really excited… because Remnants of Corruption DLC is now ready for wishlisting!!
This means that in a couple of weeks (May 10th) you’ll be able to dive deep into the Skada Tower and challenge corruption with your favorite survivors!


Remnants of Corruption will take place inside the Skada Tower, a dark corrupt place. Once you step inside, your only way out will be surviving the countless challenges the tower conceals.

[h3]This DLC will come with the following features:[/h3]

• Corruption mechanic: when corruption rises, the tower also morphs, and everything will become more challenging.
  
• Rewards at the start of each room so you can build yourself up and be a worthy opponent.
  
• Doors: choose your path. These doors will grant you a specific reward (hearts, gold, weapons…) once you complete the upcoming room.
  
• Deities. You will be gifted by a deity of your choice to improve your runs substantially
  
• New character: Lili
  
• New relics
  
• New enemies
  
• Skada Tower Metaprogress
  
• Original Soundtrack

Today we have a new DLC devlog! We wanted to post it yesterday but then we realized it was April fools lol.

[h2]New mechanic! Deities! [/h2]
You will be blessed by a deity of your choice. This way, if you are blessed with the Fire Goddess, for example, more fire relics will appear. This means more synergy possibilities and extra damage from your god or goddess of choice!



[h2]Relics[/h2]
And talking about relics… we went a bit crazy and 50+ relics will be added to the game!
Some of them as free content, some of them as DLC content, because on May 10th we want content for everyone!
As for this week, we are currently working on these new relics and making a lot of progress in the new characters, so very happy about that!



[h2]Porting[/h2]
Just a couple of hours ago, we watched Nintendo direct and oh boy, everything looks so cool!! And that is why we didn’t want to post yesterday because wink wink, we are also working on some porting stuff that is also going really good wink wink :D More news about this in a few weeks!

[h2]Price balancing[/h2]
We’ve also updated the prices in some countries to bring us into line with average market prices.

We’re back with a new devlog and a few announcements!
First of all, thanks for your patience and support, we really appreciate it during this development :D

Next, we finally have an official release date for the DLC!

[h2]DLC Release date[/h2]
It will launch on May 10th! We’re really excited for that day, and are still preparing content to reach your expectations.



This update will be divided in two parts:

• [h3]DLC Remnants of Corruption[/h3]Including a new game mode, the Tower, which will grant a ton of new hours of gameplay, a brand new character and new relics.
  
• [h3]Free content[/h3] Which will include more relics, an artifact rework AND another new character!
  

That way, everyone will have new content to play!

[h2]Devlog progress[/h2]
These weeks we are working on bosses. You will meet mythic Trolls and the Draugr, norse zombies!
As you can see, the all have their corrupt counterparts.



[h2]Steam Spring Sale[/h2]
As Spring Steam Sale starts today, we will also run a discount: 25% off Nordic Ashes and all its add-ons.

Welcome to a new devlog about the new DLC “Remnants of Corruption”

[h2]Corrupted Enemies![/h2]

Last post we talked about regular mobs. But hey, this is a corrupted tower, so enemies will also feel that corruption power and have their evil form too!
Here you may see what we’re talking about:



These enemies will have extra abilities such as throwing projectiles, so you are always on the edge of your seat focusing on them.

We will be back in a couple of weeks to share some new content about the DLC.
