Today we have a suggestions/fixes update related to your feedback :D

[h2]Improvements [/h2]

• If you touch the Gnöki Exchange Shrine (the one in the shop, that exchanges xp for gold) once and then step away, it will exchange xp for gold 1 time. But if you stay close, it will exchange xp for gold multiple times, faster each time.
  
• If you already have the maximum gold, it won’t keep exchanging xp for nothing even if you stay close.
  
• This exchange shrine will also appear in the room before the final boss.
  
• Changed the color of the timer that appears on the bottom center of the screen during runs so you can see it better.
  
• You can now hide the UI during runs in case you want to take a screenshot pressing F9 or the left joystick.
  
• Manual aim (mouse): we’ve slightly changed how it works and we hope it is now more intuitive. It will aim at you enemies while you keep it pressed.
  
• Green hearts will now appear always in last position. This way you will lose them first when you get hit, as they grant you xp when they break.
  

[h2]Alruna balancing[/h2]

• To make unlocking her more intuitive, it will now be on Niflheim Realm. As ice potions are unlocked in this realm, it will make things more straight forward.
  
• And speaking of Ice Potions. We’ve also changed the probability of them appearing on the shop, so they are easier to obtain. Before, red potions were Common and the others were Rare. Now they all have the same % of appearing.
  
• Her weapon Selenite Wand, has now manual aim too.
  
• If your character has earned penetration stats, Selenite Wand will have them too.
  
• Alruna’s Ultimate ability: she will summon one extra Gunborg every 5 summons on her global stats.
  
• The Mandrake’s cry area is now larger.
  
• Splintered Bones have now a larger area. Their initial duration has been changed from 2 to 3.
  
• Splintered Bones caused bleeding, but it was not specified in their description. Now it is.
  
• Updated Alruna’s minions descriptions.
  

[h2]Hansi balancing[/h2]

• Crimson Dagger had a random target. It now targets nearby enemies.
  
• Deep Crystal now starts with 2 projectiles instead of 1 and the area of effect is larger. It also targets enemies more efficiently.
  
• Shadow Crossbow has now faster projectiles but they last less and have less attack speed. It now targets the closest enemies.
  
• Shadow Warrior also targets now the closest enemies.
  

[h2]Effects visibility tutorial[/h2]
We’ve added a new tutorial. In case your abilities crowd the screen and you can’t see what’s below them (the ground, your enemies…), you can always reduce their alpha so they become more transparent and you can see through them.

[h2]Fixes[/h2]

• There was a know bug that made some bosses or enemies immortal. This should now be fixed.
  
• Alruna’s Splintered Bones relic was not aiming correctly.
  
• Sometimes, Alruna’s stats regarding her innate ability were not being added correctly when you leveled up.

[h2]New survivor: Alruna[/h2]
We’re so happy to introduce you to a new survivor today! Welcome Alruna to the family!
She’s a very peculiar character. “Runa” means secret in old Norse, and we thought it would fit here very well.



[h2]Relics[/h2]
But her name also means “mandrake”, so expect tiny little screeching creatures all over the map.
Alruna has different kinds of abilities. She can master ice, thunder, bleeding and fear.



[h2]Minions from the underworld[/h2]
And we need a special mention to her minions! (who knows how crowded everything would be if you got the chance to find the relic C.O.N.N.E.C.T. in your run…).



[h2]Fixes[/h2]

• We read your countless comments, and our dear Muspelheim Phoenix boss has been nerfed, so we hope it's now more balanced.
  
• For some reason, baby Ase and Eir's wings were from their older versions. Now their sprites are correct.
  
• Healing Shrine works correctly once again.
  
• When resetting, souls at the Sacrifice Shrine stopped moving.

Good morning/evening/night!
Today is the day we release the 8th realm!! ːNA_Expertː ːNA_Crystalː

[h2]Muspelheim[/h2]
On Muspelheim you will find tons of demons, black stone golems and many Logi enemies! (Logi meaning “fire” in Old Norse).
Face three new challenging bosses and become a master of this volcanic area!


[h2]Floor is Lava[/h2]
This realm’s mechanic goes as follows: “the Floor is Lava” which explains itself perfectly ːNA_Hardː. Each time you place your foot inside a lava pool, your burning indicator will rise, and no one wants to experience what happens when it reaches its maximum, thank you very much.


[h2]Burning Heart[/h2]
We also added a new kind of heart, the Burning Heart. This heart will explode when you receive damage and release fire balls that damage your enemies.


[h2]New Dragon Egg Shrine[/h2]
Muspelheim will allow you to unlock a new kind of shrine. A dragon egg will spawn at the begining of the run. After 15 minutes it will hatch and reveal a Legendary item as a reward!


[h2]Fire Relics[/h2]
And of course, a new set of relics, all related to this new realm!


[h2]Niflheim Soundtrack[/h2]
Rubén Meliá did it again! We're so happy to announce that Niflheim tracks are now available and you can enjoy them while playing!


[h2]Fixes and improvements[/h2]

• Helheim elite Red Cranium's health was bugged when it divided.
  
• Ice balls, Burning Projectiles and Poison Projectiles where aiming into wrong directions.
  
• Elites stopped appearing in high Ragnarok levels.
  
• Final Boss Jord anims have been slightly modified.
  
• Final Boss Hel's pillars shouldn't have that much HP now.
  
• Minor fixes related to bosses behavior.

[h2]How to access the Beta?[/h2]
REMEMBER: To play the beta, you will need to have purchased Nordic Ashes previously.

1. Open the Steam application.
   
2. Go to the Steam library and select Nordic Ashes.
   
3. Right click on it and select Properties.
   
4. A panel will open, select the Beta option.
   
5. Enter the following code: NordicAshesBeta
6. Click the button to verify that it is correct.
   
7. If everything is OK, you will have the Beta option in the drop-down menu. Select it and the game will be updated.

First of all, we’d like to share the following disclaimer (don’t forget to read #8)

1. Keep in mind that this is a Beta and therefore it may contain bugs and balancing issues.
   
2. The purpose of the Beta is that you have access to an early version of the game, so you can help us to fix bugs, balance the game and give suggestions.
   
3. The Betas last for a certain period of time. We will release them as new updates are released. This particular one will be open for 1 week.
   
4. There is a specific discussion for beta feedback in Steam.
   
5. The Beta progress will be saved in your actual account.
   
6. You can unlock the Steam achievements already published, but the new ones that will be released will not be available. However, once the Beta version is released, you will receive all achievements you have already earned.
   
7. You may upload or stream Beta content if you wish. However, please add a disclaimer to your videos/streams to announce that it is the Beta you are playing, not the public version of the game.
   
8. IMPORTANT: To avoid any loss of your progress please follow the next steps:
   a. Create a backup of your saving files just in case. There should be no issues but just to be safe please do. You may find them here:
