Hi everyone! Let's go for the second update after the Early Access launch. This one brings new content related to Yggdrasil that many of you were asking for, in addition to some bug fixes and Quality of Life (QoL) improvements.

[h2]Yggdrasil Seeds![/h2]
From now on, enemies may drop Yggdrasil seeds. You can then exchange these seeds to obtain Yggdrasil leaves to improve your meta-progress.

The difficulty of the game also influences the drop probability of the enemies. The higher the difficulty, the more likely it is that seeds will drop. This will allow you to earn new leaves whether you complete the run or not ;)

To thank those players who have been with us since the beginning, we are going to give you some seeds according to the amount of time you have played the game.

[h2]Yggdrasil Level 3[/h2]
With the arrival of the Yggdrasil seeds, our tree has grown a ton, and a 3rd level will be available bringing new powerful upgrades.


[h3]Some QoL improvements[/h3]

• Life and quantity of enemies in Hard mode have been reduced.
  
• The Sacrifice Altar range has been increased in size.
  
• The glossary has been reorganized to improve the visualization of relics.
  
• When you exit the game, you will now be asked for confirmation.
  
• We have negotiated with Gnöki. It has been tough, but we eventually managed to convince him. It will be easier to increase his happiness from now on.
  
• In addition, you will now be able to see Gnöki's happiness progress bar.
  
• We have improved the visual information of Yggdrasil's upgrades so you can check which ones are upgraded and which are not.
  
• You can now add or remove upgrades more easily in the Yggdrasil panel.
  

[h3]Fixed issues[/h3]

• Fixed an issue when collecting two or more chests at the same time.
  
• Gnöki’s happiness at level 3 was showing only 3 purchase options instead of 4.
  
• The Electric Rune Relic disappeared when entering Gnöki's Realm.
  
• There was a bug with the Glitch Relic that made it disappear (makes sense hahaha).
  
• Fixed sound bugs that kept sounds looping even with the volume turned off.
  
• Fixed some text bugs.
  
• Fixed some Astrid projectiles that interacted as if they were enemies.

Hello everyone! This is the first update after the Early Access launch. It mostly covers bugs or Quality of Life (QoL) improvements.

[h2]Play offline[/h2]
We have removed the server connection that prevented the game from being played offline. Now everyone can enjoy the game at any time either online or offline.

[h3]Some QoL improvements.[/h3]

• Regarding the the Glossary, you may now hide all the relics you have already obtained.
  
• In the Achievements panel, you may also hide those you have already obtained.
  
• And finally, we have added in the Yggdrasil panel a new button that allows you to see how to get the leaves and how many there are. You will also be able to hide the ones you have already obtained.
  
• You can now move the character with the arrow keys.
  
• Potions, coins and artifacts now have a light halo the moment they drop. This allows to better track where the drop has fallen.
  
• 16:10 resolutions have been added to the game. This is to improve the Steam Deck experience and screens that use that resolution. We are working on making it compatible with more resolutions.
  

[h3]Fixed issues[/h3]

• Axeldor's hammer attack was not too visible. We have updated the hue to give it more contrast.
  
• The option to remove controller vibration was reversed in the options panel, it should now work fine.
  
• The Crystal Soul Relic was being unlocked on Normal mode when it should have been on Hard or higher.
  
• A visual error in numeric texts with more than 3 digits has been fixed.
  
• The Ruined Slime stayed far away from you and you could lose track it if you ran away from it.
  
• Other minor code issues.

Time’s up! Today we’re finally launching Nordic Ashes in Early Access and you will all be able to enjoy this Enemy Hell Survivor adventure!

[h3]What to expect from Midgard and the 9 Realms[/h3]

• You will be able to face powerful enemies in the 9 Realms of Yggdrasil.
  
• Collect Relics that will make you as powerful as the Asgard gods themselves.
  
• Ascend your Ancestral Relics so that no minion will stop you.
  
• Find fellow survivors and together, face what remains after Ragnarök.
  
• Obtain Yggdrasil leaves to get permanent upgrades.
  
• Improve your affection level with Gnöki to get amazing rewards.
  
• Create your own build for each character and each run choosing your path in their Constellation Ability Trees.
  
• Use each survivor’s Ultimate ability to annihilate your enemies.
  

[h3]Too easy?[/h3]
Don't worry, as you complete a Realm on one difficulty, the next will be unlocked, with new challenges to meet and rewards to earn.

[h3]Do you love completing achievements?[/h3]
More than 60 achievements to accomplish, a number that will increase as we release more content.

[h3]How much variety is there?[/h3]
There are more than 70 Relics in the game, plus different artifacts, potions, survivors, realms, altars, Gnöki’s realm, Yggdrasil meta progression... and this is only the first Early Access release of many updates to come.

[h3]What makes us different from other survivor-like games?[/h3]

• This game is much more challenging. Why? The HP system is based in heart containers as in Binding of Isaac, so beware of being touched by monsters, enemies are much more complex, bosses have their own behavior with unique attacks that make them really fun as well as challenging.
  
• Characters won’t start with a weapon and that would be it. Each one has their own constellation with various weapons, powers and upgrades that will allow you to make creative builds. Also, this makes each character feel unique.
  
• When you level up you will receive level points. Each weapon can be upgraded with those points. The cool thing is that each upgrade will have semi-random stats. If you don't like the stats you got, you can reroll and see if you have better luck.
  
• Find shrines around the realms that will reward you with useful Relics or special upgrade chests.
  
• Each Ancestral Relic can be Ascended up to 2 times, giving each Ascension a unique upgrade.
  

[h3]So that's it?[/h3]
Of course not. There are always secrets, such as ... and many updates to come in the following weeks and months.

Remember that during the Early Access you will have the possibility of obtaining the Knights of The Dark Skins in the game. After that, they will become Legacy skins and nobody else will be able to get them anymore.
