[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p] [/p]
Save the corrupted vaults to unlock an endless trial of dungeons, with 16 new accessories to unlock and tons of loot. [/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][p]The Vault and its loot scale with your game progress, so brand new and veteran players will be challenged and rewarded.[/p][p][/p][p]What’s more, the layout of the Vault can change through the magic of World Eggs. Obtain World Eggs by feeding golden fruit to Odin Shell — there’s even a small chance to revisit Frostfall!
[/p]
[/p][p]This dangerous land is trapped in an endless thunderstorm, and beware: the higher your difficulty setting, the deadlier the lightning strikes become.
[/p]
More Character Options
[p]We’ve got not one, but two new Runari you can play as while out on your adventures — meet Harker and Freya.[/p][p]
[/p][p]We’re also adding in more variants for existing characters, based on player feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p]
New Accessories
[p]Accessories only obtainable in the Vault have been added, with a total of 16 to discover. Here’s a look at “The Majestic Ninja,” which spawns “clones” each time you evade! 🥷[/p][p][/p][p]
[/p]
Skill Points
[p]We’ve updated the mastery system for classes. Now, earning experience and obtaining a mastery level will grant skill points, which you can distribute to any of the four available classes.[/p][p]
[/p][p]You’ll have more control over which class you level and can keep playing what you enjoy.[/p][p]
[/p][p]This is just a handful of all the things we’re including in Cloudheim’s latest update! Improved combat, loot, dungeon tweaks, and more are included in the Vault of the Gods Update.[/p][p][/p][p]Make sure to read the full update notes here:

A Visit to the Vault
[p]Save the corrupted vaults to unlock an endless trial of dungeons, with 16 new accessories to unlock and tons of loot. [/p][p][/p][p]

Myrkstorm Looms Ahead
[p]A brand-new island is now available to unlock and explore: Myrkstorm.[/p][p]This dangerous land is trapped in an endless thunderstorm, and beware: the higher your difficulty setting, the deadlier the lightning strikes become.
[/p][p]Major New Features[/p]
- [p]Added a new feature, Vault of the Gods[/p]
- [p]The Vault is located on Odin Shell, with a related quest[/p]
- [p]Feed Odin Shell golden fruit to obtain new World Eggs, which can modify the domain you enter in the Vaults[/p]
- [p]The loot obtained in the Vaults will scale with your overall game progress[/p]
- [p]Added 16 new accessories that can drop from within the vaults (some of these have special effects, like triggering on evade or setting nearby enemies on fire!)[/p]
- [p]Skill Points[/p]
- [p]Leveling is now more flexible with Skill Points, which are earned every hero level and every item mastered[/p]
- [p]You can spend skill points to upgrade the class of your choice, and it’s easier to keep your class leveling as you play[/p]
- [p]Classes gradually cost more skill points to level, starting at level 30[/p]
- [p]Two new playable characters have been added, Harker and Freya[/p]
- [p]A brand new island, Myrkstorm, can now be unlocked and explored[/p]
- [p]Brave the endless storms, face off against electric enemies, defeat a fearsome boss, and rescue Tilda![/p]
- [p]Myrkstorm is plagued by an endless thunderstorm, with lightning raining down from the sky that can hurt players and enemies alike[/p]
- [p]Beware: the higher your difficulty setting, the more deadly the lightning storm![/p]
- [p]You can choose to skip the tutorial when creating a world and head straight to Arcadia. You will now skydive down to Arcadia on your first visit there.[/p]
- [p]You can now interrupt weapon attacks with skills, letting you quickly transition combos and react to the environment[/p]
- [p]New Skill: Fan of Daggers (available somewhere in Myrkstorm)[/p]
- [p]Bosses now have ablative armor, which means it gets destroyed with time. Breaking armor reduces how much armor they have in upcoming rounds, and increases the damage they take when armor is down.[/p]
- [p]Improved targeting priority for different object types, e.g., preferring enemies over chests during combat[/p]
- [p]Fast-hitting weapons are now less likely to suddenly move enemies in a jarring fashion[/p]
- [p]Weapon drops are now visible in the world and can be interacted with to loot them. As with hearts and world stars, even if you leave them behind, they will teleport to your Bifrost Chest.[/p]
- [p]Mana recovery now begins much faster, resulting in increased overall regen[/p]
- [p]This means you have more mana to use in combat and your skill cadence is more flexible, as periodic evades won't stop you from regenerating. As a tradeoff, mana costs will be slightly increased, but regeneration will still be a net positive.[/p]
- [p]Furniture can now snap together with other nearby items, and wall-hanging items now place more intuitively[/p]
- [p]Items produced by crafting will try to merge into nearby existing stacks once they come to rest (as will items tossed on the ground by players), which should help reduce ground clutter around the Cleansing Pool and Smelter[/p]
- [p]Tossing items to stations will automatically stop once the station is full instead of throwing the remaining stack on the ground[/p]
- [p]Added a ‘tech tree’ to the Odin Shell reputation board, which shows the crafting stations and guilds you’ve constructed so far, and what’s required to build the others[/p]
- [p]Added a list of all Upgrade statues to the Odin Shell reputation board[/p]
- [p]Added rarity color display to more places in the HUD[/p]
- [p]Added Trading Posts, which you can build after you’ve built a Blin Merchant Guild. Trade items of the required type and rarity for more valuable rewards[/p]
- [p]Reality Tears can now be sold[/p]
- [p]If a Summon Whistle (Blin) doesn’t recruit a new Blin it will instead give you loot[/p]
- [p]Added more cosmetic styles for Mana, Jaxel, and Arvid. Mana and Jaxel are available from the beginning, while Arvid’s styles will unlock along with the character[/p]
- [p]Added a new targeting method tutorial to the training room[/p]
- [p]You can now choose to skip the tutorial[/p]
- [p]Chests can now drop weapons and have better loot overall[/p]
- [p]Greenvor ore loot has been split between Greenvor and Myrkstorm[/p]
- [p]Improved visual feedback from obtaining loot[/p]
- [p]Updated art on Cursed Tombstones[/p]
- [p]Added class description tips to the codex[/p]
- [p]Updated art on Voyager’s Statues in the Lawless Strand dungeon and adjusted the level to better teach the mechanic[/p]
- [p]Reduced the World Star unlock cost of Frostvaldr from 55 to 50[/p]
- [p]Balance improvements to the Arcadia final boss, including more precise tuning on different enemy difficulties[/p]
- [p]Improvements to the boss fight and final arena in the Grobb Citadel dungeon[/p]
- [p]Balance improvements to the Dustlanger Act 2 boss[/p]
- [p]Improved General Gnarly visuals and animations[/p]
- [p]Updated inspection prompts on a number of gameplay objects[/p]
- [p]Updated the name of an enemy in Act 2 of the Dustlanger questline to match the quest objective[/p]
- [p]Reworked the poison mechanic in the Sporeswell Sepulcher dungeon:[/p]
- [p]Poison will no longer stack constantly on difficulties below Unforgiving.[/p]
- [p]Toxic pools now spawn randomly and bursts of poison will periodically strike, forcing players to adapt but giving them more agency to respond.[/p]
- [p]Fix for some enemies being spawned in walls, ceilings, and floors[/p]
- [p]Fixed many destructible objects that had empty inspect prompts[/p]
- [p]Inventory screen filter improvements[/p]
- [p]Fix for crafted weapons no longer receiving enchants[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where Pachinko on Odin Shell had a chance to get stuck if players stopped looking at it[/p]
- [p]Fixed a chance that Grobb bosses could fail to spawn Grobbs during phase transitions, or spawn extra without the correct visuals[/p]
- [p]Fixed a bug causing Dustlanger Grobb bosses to not use their primary melee attacks[/p]

- [p]Fixed a wide variety of text bugs[/p]
- [p]Removed miscellaneous tips referencing future content and systems, and a few tips for old versions of existing stations[/p]
- [p]Fixed Ranger trait heal on evade not reliably working when joining someone else’s world[/p]
- [p]Fixed a few cases of projectiles choosing the wrong target[/p]
