Greetings, Descendants. This is the Director of The First Descendant, Minseok Joo.

Today at Summer Game Fest 2025, we unveiled the teaser trailer for Season 3: Breakthrough—and officially announced that the new season will launch on Thursday, August 7.

We know many Descendants were hoping to experience Season 3 earlier, and we apologize that we couldn't meet those expectations.
Season 3 is a major update that includes large-scale new content and structural expansion of the game.
The Dev Team focuses primarily on quality and determines that we need more time to prepare. We ask for your understanding.

To help us deliver the best possible experience, we’ll be conducting a Focus Group Test (FGT) in early July for players in Korea and North America.
Your feedback will be critical in shaping the final version of Season 3, and we’re committed to making sure your voices are heard.

In the meantime, we’re also preparing several exciting events to keep you engaged. Here’s a quick preview of what’s coming:

■ Season 3 Demo Open
Starting Thursday, July 24th, we will open a Demo that allows all Descendants to briefly experience some of the Season 3 content.
In this Demo, you can preview the new Field "Axion," the Legion of Breach and Mutants, new Missions, Wall Crasher Battle preview, the Hover Bike, and Season 3 cutscenes.
We hope this Demo will provide an opportunity for you to experience the new content and atmosphere in advance.

■ 1st Anniversary Showcase DESCENDANT FEST 2025
On July 2 (Wed), we’re hosting a special showcase to celebrate the first anniversary of The First Descendant (date may vary by region).
We will introduce more information and content about Season 3, as well as a roadmap for the future, so please don't forget to tune in.

■ 1st Anniversary Events
A wide variety of events celebrating the 1st Anniversary will be held both in-game and on the official website.
You can obtain different items in-game using the 1st Anniversary Tokens and there will be opportunities to win TFD merchandise through drawings on the website.
We look forward to your participation in the events we have prepared as a token of our gratitude for the journey we've shared over the past year.

■ Season 3 Pre-registration Event
You can participate in the Season 3 Pre-registration Event right now.
All Pre-registration participants will immediately receive a "Normal Descendant Selection Box," and additional rewards will be distributed as the Pre-registration numbers reach their target milestones.
Of special note, if we reach our final goal of 1 million Pre-registrations, we plan to distribute an "Ultimate Descendant Selection Box" at the start of Season 3, so don't forget to Pre-register.

Additionally, a Dev Livestream is scheduled for Thursday, June 12th, so we will be back soon with more information. The broadcast will cover new updates about Season 3 and our plans for June and July.

Here are the results of the crackdown on abusive users carried out between 5/23 (Fri) – 5/29 (Thu).



We’re inspecting abusive gaming behavior to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment.

If you notice any abnormal or abusive behavior while playing, please report it through the in-game report feature.

■ Creation, distribution, or use of unauthorized programs - Permanent game ban (36 users)

- Actions have been taken for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs.



■ Exploitation of all processes related to the Open Store – Permanent game ban (18 users)

- Actions were taken because of unfair gains by exploitation on store payment process.



■ Detection of Unusual Gameplay Activity

- Unusual gameplay activity was detected, and actions have been taken in accordance with our operational policy.
