Here are the major issues that were found for The First Descendant in September.

We will continually update this notice with any additional issues and bugs that are found in September, as well as any impactful issues identified before August. Please keep track of the updates during your gameplay.

[September 27th (Fri)]
■ (Resolved) Issue where players cannot interact with ‘Nell’ during the main quest ‘Mysterious Phenomena’
- We have found an issue where players cannot interact with ‘Nell’ during the main quest ‘Mysterious Phenomena’

[September 26th (Thu)]
■ Issue where error occurs when players were matched in the Void Intercept Battle after entering 'Check Out Recommended Modules'
- We have found an issue where error occurs when players were matched in the Void Intercept Battle after entering 'Check Out Recommended Modules'

■ (Resolved) Issue where the name and description of ‘Obtain Freyna’s Equipment Materials 5’ is not properly displayed
- We have found an issue where the name and description of ‘Obtain Freyna’s Equipment Materials 5’ is not properly displayed.

■ Issue with Not Returning to Albion After Invasion Dungeon Completion
- We have found an issue with not returning to Albion after the countdown for return when completing the invasion dungeon.

■ (Resolved) Issue where party members cannot join mid-session during certain Disrupt Invasion
- It has been confirmed that during 2 or more player sessions in 'Invasion: Magister Lab (Kingston)', 'Invasion: The Forgottense (Sterile land)', and 'Invasion: The Haven (Hagios)', if some party members move ahead first, other party members are unable to join mid-session.
- If this issue occurs, the remaining party members can join once the leading party member moves to the next area.

■ (Resolved) Issue where progress becomes difficult after resurrection during certain invasion halts
- It has been confirmed that after dying and resurrecting during 'Invasion: Heart of the Fortress (Fortress)' and 'Invasion: Caligo Ossuary (Agna Desert)', you are unable to continue progressing.
- This issue may prevent the completion of the battle.

■ (Resolved) Issue where 'Room 0 Trauma' cannot be applied to 'Poison Attribute Colossus' when the 'Contagion' Module is equipped
- It has been confirmed that using a skill while the 'Contagion' Module is equipped results in 'Room 0 Trauma' not being applied to the 'Poison Attribute Colossus.'

■ Issue where the location of the Records is not shown during Bunny's exclusive quest.
- It has been confirmed that during Bunny's exclusive quest 'What kind of records are these?', the record location does not appear on the map in 'Sterile land.'

■ (Resolved) Issue where the detailed description of Hailey's 'Zenith' skill is not displayed

■ (Resolved) Issue where some 'Russian' text is not displayed
- It has been confirmed that some item descriptions, product descriptions, and achievement descriptions in Russian are not displayed.
- We apologize for the inconvenience, but until this issue is resolved, please refer to another language if the text does not display correctly.

■ (Resolved) Intermittent Access Issue with the Official Website
- An intermittent issue has been observed where the official website becomes inaccessible and displays a "Server error" message.
- In this case, please use your browser's secret mode or clear your cache before reconnecting to access the website normally.

[September 12th (Thu)]

■ (Resolved) Issue where the pop-up for confirming acquisition information of an item set as a target item in 'View Info' is forcibly closed.
- We have found an issue when checking the acquisition information of an item set as a target item in 'View Information', the pop-up is forcibly closed when the mouse hovers over the detailed list.

■ Issue where interacting with a drone in "Invasion: Order of Truth" makes the mission unplayable.
- We have found an issue that interacting with a drone before starting the battle with a named monster during the "Invasion: Order of Truth" mission makes the mission unplayable.

■ (Resolved) Issue with not being able to set equipment level as 0 in Exclude from junk’ filter.
- We have found an issue where Weapon, Reactor and External Component cannot be set as level 0
- The setting is activated as level 1 even when set as level 0

[September 5th (Thu)]
■ (Resolved) Issue with Abnormal Damage applied by Bunny and Ultimate Bunny
- We have identified an issue where abnormal damage could be applied by Bunny and Ultimate Bunny under certain conditions.
- This issue will be promptly fixed through a patch.

■(Resolved) Issue with Monsters Not Spawning in Infiltration Operations, Preventing Completion
- We have found an issue during Infiltration Operations, where intermittently monsters do not spawn, making it impossible to complete the mission.
- This issue will be quickly addressed with an maintenance-free patch shortly.

[Previous Known Issues]
■ (Resolved) Duplicate Display of the "Kuiper Storage Tank" Mission Icon in Sterile Land Repository (Normal/Hard)
- We have identified an issue where the "Kuiper Storage Tank" mission icon is displayed multiple times on the regional map (M) in Sterile Land Repository (Normal/Hard).
- You can proceed with the "Kuiper Storage Tank" mission located near the outpost to use the feature normally.

■ (Resolved) Found issue with approaching to the Target Item automatically when there is a Research Item from the Research Menu
- An issue has been identified when entering the Research Menu, in case there is research in process or finished, it automatically leads to the Target Item.

■ (Resolved) Misprint of paint name in pop-up page when pressing (X) button for purchasing the applied paint.
- An issue has been identified when a different paint name is written on the pop-up page in case of applying paint to Customizing > Descendant Skin or Weapon Skin.

■ (Resolved) Misprint of ‘Applied Value’ when trying to equip module in 'Change Module Socket Type’ mode.
- We identified an issue where the applied value is misprinted intermittently as if the module is already equipped when trying to equip module in 'Change Module Socket Type’ mode.

■ Intel CPU Issue.
- Crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.
- On PCs using these CPUs, the game may forcefully shut down with an error message stating 'Out of video memory' when launched.
This issue can be partially resolved by adjusting power limits in the BIOS.
- We are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue, and we are sharing Intel's official response for your reference.

■ Temporary solutions for client termination issues with certain antivirus Programs
- We have requested for exceptions for The First Descendant to antivirus programs, but some have not been implemented. Below are temporary solutions for this problem.
(1) ‘Bitdefender’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to System Protection > Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) > Manage Exclusions menu, select the file or folder for The First Descendant, and save.
(2) ‘McAfee Agent’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to McAfee Security > Navigation > Quarantined and Trusted Items, select TheFirstDescendant.exe from the quarantined programs list, and restore it.

■ Solutions for ‘Easy Anti-Cheat’ not functioning correctly
- If Easy Anti-Cheat malfunctions, refer to the FAQ for solutions. If the issue persists, please contact customer support with relevant screenshots.

Content Improvements
(1) Content
- Invasion: Improved the mechanics of the Order of Truth Dungeon.
ㄴ Removed Arche Pillars that didn't display any Symbols.
ㄴ Improved Arche Pillars so now they face toward the inside of the Battle area.
ㄴ Simplified the design of the Symbols displayed on the Arche Pillars and reduced the number from 6 to 4.

ㄴ Fixed an issue where skills would continue to target the Tumors of the Arche Pillars even after they were destroyed.
ㄴ Improved Pillars so Tumors do not regenerate after they are destroyed.
ㄴ Reduced the number of hits needed to destroy Arche Pillar Tumors from 5 to 3.
ㄴ Adjusted the movement path of the Ancestor Drone.
ㄴ Reduced the movement speed of the Ancestor Drone.
ㄴ Changed the direction of the Symbol displayed above the Ancestor Drone to be vertical.
ㄴ Reduced the number of hits needed to destroy the Malignant Tumor blocking the door from 3 to 2, allowing it to be cleared in one attempt.
ㄴ Increased Range and Firing Rate of the Inversion Energy Emitter.
ㄴ Fixed an issue where Gates would receive DMG if the Descendant would hit a Gate with a skill while having a module equipped that lowered the Skill Power Modifier and also had "Inversion Energy Emitter" equipped.
ㄴ Increased Melee Monster Spawn Rate.
- Invasion: Improved the mechanics of the Legion of Immortality Dungeon.
ㄴ Removed the time limit for Artificial Brain Input after the first supply.
ㄴ Changed the amount of Artificial Brains that have to be supplied to 20.
ㄴ Changed the amount of Artificial Brains the player can hold from 15 to 10.
ㄴ Moved the location of the "Phase Separation Veil Generator" near the "Computing Unit" in Battles with named monsters.
- Invasion: Improved the mechanics of the Legion of Darkness Dungeon.
ㄴ Adjusted the Arche Tile positions to make it easier to identify them.
ㄴ Reduced the Arche Tile Occupation time to 3 seconds.
ㄴ Simplified the color and symbols displayed on the Arche Tiles and reduced the number from 6 to 4.

ㄴ Removed the Suicide Bomber that would destroy Arche Tiles.
ㄴ Reduced the Spawn Rate of Raiders who would reduce the Arche Tile Occupancy.
ㄴ Changed the Symbols to stay on the Arche Tiles longer after stepping off the Central Control Unit.

- Increased Hailey Research Material rewards available at each Clear Time in Invasion Dungeons from 3, 2, 1. to 5, 4, 3.
- Improved the Inversion Reinforcement skill effect.

- Shield Increase of Overwhelming Shield has been increased to 26.8% of Max HP
- HP Increase of Overwhelming HP has been increased to 19.8% of Max Shield.
- Decreased DEF and HP of Pyromaniac (Standard, Hard) in Intercept Battle. Also decreased HP and Shield of the "Hummingbirds" which appears in Executioner and Pyromaniac Intercept Battles.
- Kill Score for defeating monsters in certain Hard Infiltration Operations has been increased.
ㄴ Kingston: Magister Lab, Sterile Land: Unknown Laboratory, Fortress: Quarantine Zone
- Shortened the time required to interact with objects.

Bug Fixes
(1) Content
- Missions have been adjusted to start only after entering the Largescale Outpost barricade.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect text prompts were displayed when there is a nearby makeshift camp located in a different battlefield.

(2) UI/UX
- Fixed an issue in the Voltage Charge effect of EXCAVA where the amount of Max Stacks was incorrectly displayed in the next stage of the Enhance Unique Ability screen.
- Fixed an issue where the Equipment Tier would display "TEXT" when using "Filter all as junk", for Descendants who had it set to "Designate all Tiers" before the update.

(3) Descendants
- Fixed an issue where "Reference Distance" is incorrectly displayed to be seemed it is affected by "Skill Effect Range related stats in the skill info screen of Hailey's Safe Strategic Retreat
- Fixed abnormal slipping that happened when Hailey used the Zenith skill after a Sub Attack utilizing Grappling Hook.

- Fixed abnormal slipping that happened when Hailey used the Zenith skill after using a Sub Attack following the use of the Grappling Hook.
- Fixed abnormal slipping that happened when Hailey used the Zenith skill after a Sub Attack utilizing Grappling Hook.

(4) Modules
- Fixed an issue where summoning a Turret within Jayber's Turret Zone with a Module affecting Skill Effect Range equipped, the Turret Zone would not expand as much as it should, due to the Range Module.
- Fixed an issue where, if Jayber has the 'Turret Engineering' Module equipped, the Turret Engineering skill could duplicate Turret Zones.

# Director's Additional Comment
Greetings, Descendants. This is the Director of The First Descendant, Minseok Joo.

Based on community feedback and data, the Dev Team has analyzed the success rate of the Invasion Dungeons and adjusted the Difficulty of puzzles and battles against named bosses.
Although not yet included in the 1.1.1 update, we are also working on adding matchmaking to the Invasion Dungeons. We are committed to improving this feature so that you can enjoy Invasion Dungeons with your Party as soon as possible.

We have also increased the amount of rewards of Hailey's Research Materials that can be obtained in the Invasion Dungeons.
In the 1.1.0b Update, we improved the drop rate of Hailey's Research Materials as Infiltration Operation rewards. But based on continuing community feedback about how difficult the farming is,
we have adjusted the rewards for clearing Invasion Dungeons, so now 12-20 research materials can be received daily, depending on the trophy earned. We hope this adjustment allows more players to farm Hailey more easily and enjoy the game.

We have improved the effectiveness of Inversion Reinforcement and removed penalties. Additionally, stacking conditions have also been reduced, so it is easier to trigger.
This enhancement of Inversion Reinforcement includes a lot of defensive effects, so we hope it will help the Descendants to make their builds even more aggressive.

One of the major changes for this Season has been that the usage of the Hard Infiltration Operation has seen a significant increase since the Season update.
The rise in participation stems from increased activity by those farming Hailey in the Infiltration Operation and improved Reward Efficiency. The Dev Team hopes that the Infiltration Operation will become an important farming location
and is preparing to make adjustments to some sections with traps to provide a better gameplay experience.
Finally, in the second update scheduled for October 10, we plan on introducing Infiltration Operations of the highest difficulty. We will continue to incorporate your feedback to ensure an even more engaging and fun battle experience.
