Do you remember The First Descendant? It’s Nexon’s free-to-play loot shooter that’s been in the news for about two years. It first landed with an impressive cinematic trailer that was followed up months later by various beta tests.

Connor and I played it a year-and-a-half ago and found it competent, if lacking that special hook. After announcing a release date at Summer Game Fest just a couple of weeks ago, The First Descendant has now officially launched and a lot of people are playing it right now.

We would like to inform you that the issue causing delays in Twitch Drops rewards has been partially resolved.

■ Current Status
If you participated in the Twitch Drops event after logging into the game → Real-time Twitch Drops rewards delivery within approximately 1 minute (issue resolved)

If you participated in the Twitch Drops event without ever logging into the game → Up to 2 hours may be required to receive Twitch Drops rewards (fix in progress)

Please start the game before participating in the Twitch Drops event until the issue is fully resolved. We will notify you again through this notice once the fix is complete.

■ Reference Information
- For new purchases, rewards will be delivered to Inventory (I) > Shop > Inbox within approximately 10 seconds.
- If you made a Caliber purchase before the fix, re-entering the Shop will deliver the rewards.

Resolving Twitch Drops reward delay is still in process.

As an apology for the inconvenience caused on the opening day, we will provide the following compensation. Details for how and when distributing the compensation will be announced separately.

- Gold Gain +30% Boost (Duration 3 days)
- Kuiper Shard Gain +30% Boost (Duration 3 days)

The First Descendant Nexon Creators will be operating on a seasonal basis to ensure a stable system.

■ What is The First Descendant Nexon Creators?
The First Descendant Nexon Creators is a new type of support program for professional game content creators and fans.
You can participate in The First Descendant Nexon Creators as a “Creator” or “Supporter”.
The first season of The First Descendant Nexon Creators, which opens with the launch, is the 'Beta Season' and will run from July 2nd to December 31st, 2024.

■ The First Descendant Nexon Creators Benefits
Supporters can register a specific Creator they want to support. 2% of the payment amount will be automatically donated as ‘Creator Points’ to that Creator every time they make a purchase in The First Descendant.
Creators can convert the ‘Creator Points’ they earned into cash.

■ How to apply for The First Descendant Nexon Creators

■ The First Descendant Nexon Creators Points
- Creators can request withdrawal from atleast 125,000P and above to receive cash back benefits.
- The expiration date of Creator Points is the last day of the third month after earning them, and they will be terminated after the expiration date.
- You can check the Creator Points earned from [Nexon Creators page > MY Studio > Creator Points History].

■ Details
- The First Descendant Nexon Creators are subject to the [Creator Operation Policy].
- The First Descendant Nexon Creators Program will start on PC platforms and will expand to console platforms soon. Details will be announced separately later.
- Although the Nexon Creators feature is not currently available inside the game on console platforms, if you have registered to support a Creator on the Nexon Creators official website through the Nexon ID linked with your console device, your payments made on your console device will be credited to that Creator as Creator Points.

Even after being selected for The First Descendant Nexon Creators, your status as a Creator will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be terminated based on the results.
- If your status is terminated, your accumulated Creator Points may be taken back. Please comply with the operation policies to maintain your status.
- If a supporter directly registered a creator through the ‘Nexon Creators’ webpage with their Nexon ID, it is necessary to link their Nexon ID inside The First Descendant game. Otherwise, the supporter’s contributions may not be credited.

2) Supporter [Go to Supporter Guide]
- You can support the Creator you want through the in-game Social menu or the Nexon Creators website.
- Linking your account after registering will cause your Support History to reset and you will need to re-register your support.
- Earnings are based on the date of purchase and will be credited to the Creator who was registered for support at the time of purchase.
- If you return a purchased item, the Creator Points earned for the Creator with that payment will also be canceled.
- If a supporter registers their support for a creator through the ‘Nexon Creators’ webpage with their Nexon ID, it is necessary to link the platform they are playing on with that Nexon ID within the game The First Descendant. Otherwise, the supported creator may not receive the contributions.
