Compensation Notice for New Year’s Luck Shop Event Error

Greetings Descendants.

We would like to inform you about an issue in the 'New Year’s Luck Shop' event where some items are incorrectly exchanged when using '2025 Tokens.'
We apologize for the inconvenience and will be providing additional '2025 Tokens' to ensure smooth participation in the event.
Please refer to the details below.

■ Error Details
- When exchanging Weapon Proficiency Boost (30%) and Descendant Experience Boost (30%) in the New Year’s Luck Shop, the items are swapped.
Example 1: Exchanging Weapon Proficiency Boost (30%) → Receiving Descendant Experience Boost (30%)
Example 2: Exchanging Descendant Experience Boost (30%) → Receiving Weapon Proficiency Boost (30%)

■ Fix Schedule
- After the hotfix patch 1.2.5 on January 22, 2025 (PST)

■ Compensation Details
- All Descendants who log in during the distribution period will receive 40 '2025 Tokens.'
- Rewards will be delivered to your in-game mailbox within approximately 10 minutes upon logging in during the specified period.
- Please ensure you claim your rewards before the mailbox expiration date, PST 2025.02.09 (Sun) 22:59.

- Fixed an additional issue that was causing the game to occasionally crash on PS5 platform after Hotfix 1.2.4b

Notice Regarding Target Reward Settings Error in Void Vessel

Greetings, Descendants.



We are reaching out to Descendants who had set Keelan materials as their Target Reward in the Void Vessel on Hard difficulty prior to the 1.2.4 update patch.
After the patch, an issue was identified where items obtainable in the Void Vessel could no longer be registered as Target Reward.


We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and would like to inform you of the schedule for resolving this issue.

Please note that a single disconnection may occur during the correction process.


■ Fix Schedule

- PST: Friday, January 17, 2025, at 00:00


■ Affected Descendants

- Those who had set Keelan materials as their Target Reward in the Void Vessel on Hard difficulty prior to the 1.2.4 update patch.


■ Impact

- A single disconnection may occur during the fix.
- After reconnecting to the game, the Target Reward settings will reset, and you will be able to register items obtainable in the Void Vessel as Target Reward again.

- Fixed an issue causing stuttering during Void Erosion gameplay.

1/10 (Fri) – 1/16 (Thu) Results of the Crackdown on Abusive Users

Greetings, Descendants.

Here are the results of the crackdown on abusive users carried out between 1/10 (Fri) – 1/16 (Thu).

We're inspecting abusive gaming behavior to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment.
Additionally, to ensure a pleasant gaming experience, we are planning to strengthen crackdowns on behavior that interferes with the gameplay of other Descendants, such as being excessively AFK.
If you notice any abnormal or abusive behavior while playing, please report it through the in-game report feature.

Please see below for the detailed outcome of the crackdown.

■ Crackdown status
- Crackdown period: 2025.1.10(Fri) – 2025.1.16(Thu) PST

■ Creation, distribution, or use of unauthorized programs - Permanent game ban (35 users)
- Actions have been taken for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs.


■ Exploitation of all processes related to the Open Store – Permanent game ban (26 users)
- Actions were taken because of unfair gains by exploitation on store payment process.


■ Interfering with other user's gameplay – 3-day separate matchmaking penalty (246 users)
- A history of repeated interference with other Descendants' gameplay has been confirmed and action has been taken in accordance with the Operation Policy.


■ Notes
- The outcome of the crackdown on abusive users includes enforcement actions taken based on Descendant’s reports and monitoring.
- If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the Open Store's payment process, please visit our official website > Customer Service > 1:1 Support and make your inquiry.
- If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the payment process through chargebacks, please contact the platform store where you made the payment.
