Meant to protect the humans within, the domes quickly became prisons once the Dark Synths broke their coding and took control, devastating Terra. [/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][h3]What do the Dark Synths want? [/h3][p]Isn’t that the ultimate question? [/p][p][/p][h3]What is the Resonant Blade? [/h3][p]The Resonant Blade is a special weapon formed by the last remaining humans. The blade can attune to one of six Resonant Tones to unleash a wave of sonic damage against the Dark Synths. The Resonant Blade isn’t just a tool for combat - it’s a key that unlocks hidden aspects of the world. Find secret passageways, solve environmental puzzles, and look for clues that help uncover why the Dark Synth army rose against the humans of Terra. [/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][h3]What are Resonant Tones?[/h3][p]In the world of Terra, many structures, relics, and environmental objects resonate with an internal frequency. By attuning to these, the Resonant Blade can unleash sonic damage that bypasses the Dark Synth army’s advanced defenses, making it one of the few weapons capable of stopping them. Use the Resonance Scanner to highlight objects in range with a color-coded aura and an audible cue that shows which tone is needed to harmonize with it. Some puzzles even require listening carefully to catch the right tone, so make sure you’ve got a headset on hand for this game! [/p][p][/p][h3]How do you unlock Resonant Tones?[/h3][p]Atlas starts with three base tones - red, blue, and yellow - with three more in the world that players must find and attune to by defeating bosses. Do you have the skills needed to collect all the Tones? [/p][p][/p][p]
[/p][h3]What’s a Triad? [/h3][p]A Triad is a special ability Atlas can use to deal additional damage to the Dark Synths. Gather three Charges, earned by parrying attacks or correctly striking enemies with the right tone, to power up different combination attacks. For example, a Red + Yellow + Blue attack releases a Wave Blade, a devastating shockwave. There are 12 Triads that can be unlocked, with only six tied to progression, so make sure you’re experimenting and chatting with weapons engineer Node47 if you want to unlock the full might of the Resonant Blade. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Is Resonant Blade hard?[/h3][p]Difficulty is subjective — but it absolutely can be! With the latest pre-launch update, I’ve added Hard Mode. In this mode, enemy outlines are gone and the visual cues from your Resonance Scanner are disabled. You’ll need to rely on sound alone to identify the correct tone. Without visual aids, getting overwhelmed by a mistimed parry or a swarm of bots is a real risk!
