Quick Temporary Rollback of 0.11.15: Game Crash Due to Mods

We're rolling back the newest content update really quickly to figure out a major issue of people's game crashing on startup when they have too many mods installed.

We didn't find this in QA, apologies for that.

The patch will be rolled out ASAP.

WHAT'S NEW?
[h2]Location Title[/h2][p]The new location titles give some visual flair to entering new areas! [/p][p]Common for many games, including Zelda, and it was missing from Quest Master for sure. It gives a lot of polish. [/p][p][/p][p]The location title in Castle Town.[/p][p][/p][p]In dungeons, it will use the name you give it![/p][p][/p][h2]Bow & Arrow[/h2][p]The last new tool before 1.0, and easily the most anticipated, is finally here: the Bow & Arrow! [/p][p]It's by far the most polished tool in terms of its gameplay feel, and it's super fun to use. [/p][p]Quivers determine the type of arrow you shot (wooden, fire, ice, and spectral), and your bow determines how you shoot the arrow itself and in what pattern. Let's get into what types of bows there are! [/p][p][/p][h3]Wooden Bow[/h3][p]A simple bow that shoots a single arrow in a straight direction. Your run-of-the-mill bow. [/p][h3]Composite Bow[/h3][p]This bow is an upgraded version of the wooden bow, allowing you to charge quicker, shoot harder, and faster.[/p][p]
[/p][h3]Duplex Bow[/h3][p]With this bow, you can shoot two arrows at once in parallel![/p][p]
[/p][h3]Recurve Bow[/h3][p]
The strongest bow of them all, shooting out three arrows in a spreading pattern. Great for mowing down hordes of enemies!

[/p][p] [/p][h3]Tips & Tricks[/h3][p]The bow's Quick Draw feature allows you to maintain your current charge while using the bow.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Rolling around while holding out your charged bow allows you to maintain your stance to allow swift maneuvers.[/p][p][/p][p]Rolling into a Charge[/p][p][/p][p]Rolling into a charge, similar to the sword's roll attack, allows you to draw the bow to shoot quickly.[/p][p][/p][h2]Bomb Arrows + Quiver[/h2][p]A new type of arrow and quiver is added as well, the Bomb Arrows! Beware of its explosive properties! [/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]Beware that its explosions will hurt you![/p][p][/p][h2]Eye Switch[/h2][p]Along with the bow, we are releasing a new switch type that can only be activated by arrows, the Eye Switch! [/p][p][/p][h2]Push Count 2-10[/h2][p] We've added more push count properties to allow you to push blocks from 2-10 times. [/p][p][/p][p] [/p][h2]Presents[/h2][p] Remember the presents in Castle Town? You can now place them inside your dungeons![/p][p]

0.11.14.29 - Happy Birthday, Danielle!

A surprise update - with kind regards to Danielle, a beloved member of our community and Discord moderator!

Happy Birthday Danielle from the QM team and especially myself, Julian!

As a small gift, we implemented your Auto-Coffin suggestion!

The Auto-Coffin automatically revives a player upon death! It does not need external attacks to do so.

The default coffin got a makeover!

Player Defense Reduction + New Focus Type

[h2]Player Defense Reduction[/h2]

Previously, the player had a base defense of 0.5 which halved all incoming damage.

We've been getting increasing feedback that the game is too forgiving in terms of damage which results in people spamming their dungeons with enemies and traps.

As of version 0.11.14.20, that base defense has been removed.
The change is versioned, meaning old dungeons are unaffected.

Please let us know if this change is good or if we should revert it!

[h2]New Focus Type[/h2]

A new focus type has been added which will make the object itself be ever only focused once, as opposed to each individual action.

The new type in the context menu.

Stepping off the pressure plate does NOT cause the door to be focused.

Use Tornado Rod Airborne

You can now use the Tornado Rod while in the air - this should allow for some cool new tricks and puzzles!



You can still only use one at a time and cannot cheese the system.
