  • Fixed an issue where using the ultimate skill might cause the time flow speed to remain abnormal.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes items could not be picked up.
  • Fixed an issue where rune descriptions were not refreshing after talents change.

Diablo meets Hades in fast-paced new Steam roguelike, out now

While 2023 was the year of Lilith and Diablo 4, 2024 is the year of the ARPG. With the Path of Exile 2 launch lurking over the bloodstained horizon, and indie hits like Last Epoch soaring to the top of Steam, dungeon crawlers are back and I'm in heaven (or, well, hell). Shadow of the Depth hopes to be the next big hit, and combines the roguelike elements of Hades with Diablo's top-down loot collecting and demon slaying to create something truly unique.

Early Access 0.9.1 Updates


Hi all,
The EA version 0.9.1 includes the following additions & upgrades (compared to Demo 0.8.43):
1. Added special skills that require new key bindings to trigger. Each character now has a unique special skill, such as Arthur's block and Phyllis' Shadow Bow Assault (melee attack).
2. Added a locking function with two operation modes according to the setting options:
- Toggle Automatic Locking: Press the lock key to toggle automatic locking.
- Hold and Lock: Hold the lock key to lock onto nearby targets.
3. Added a player level system. Experience is gained through the game, and leveling up grants diamonds, talent points, runes, and unlocks new characters.
4. Talent system is now available. Talent points obtained through the player level system can be used to unlock/upgrade talents. Some of the previous talents have been adjusted.
5. Rune System: Players can equip runes for their characters. More runes have been added.
6. Three Major Chapters, each features 1 boss.
7. Character Unlocking: Increase the player level to unlock the characters.
8. Blood Options: Added blood color options and a toggle feature to blood.
9. Adjusted the difficulty settings. The normal difficulty of the EA version is between the normal and hard difficulties of the Demo version.
10. Added Steam Achievement.
11. Added more passive skills.
12. New soundtracks.
