We already showed you quite a few creatures lurking deep underground and waiting to meet Gimmiko and friends on their journey to stop Jabberwock Night, but you seem to keep wanting more. So we’re changing the schedule a little bit and we’re letting y’all meet more Pests TODAY!!
If you missed our previous encounter with these freaks, let us bring you up to speed: Pest Nests are damp little caves inhabited by… Pests! They’ll offer events with a multitude of effects. Some effects you may get from these events are good, some are REALLY good and some are… Potentially run ending, if you’re not careful!! Promise you’ll be careful, okay?
So here are FOUR MORE pests for you to fall in love with:
ANCIENT ASTRONAUT
Ancient psychic spacefaring beings that influenced our technological evolution!?!? Are these real did this really happen??
You get to pick from one of the two effects: every world from now on will either have 3 more waves or 1 less wave. It's up to you if you want to gather more resources and visit more shops or if you wanna speed through your run just a tiny bit faster…
the effects stack, btw….. keep that in mind for later!!!!
DEDUN
An ancient god of wealth and prosperity, who somehow picked up a funny auctioneer accent somewhere along the line. But it’s okay cuz he’s cute.
Inthe next few shops you enter, Dedun will appear and shoot bullets all across the screen. If they hit anything being sold, it'll be discounted, but if your cursor gets hit you'll lose a big chunk of money.
No need to graze the bullets to get score bonuses!!
DOLLY
The first animal to be successfully cloned! For realsies! Two Dollies for the price of one!
There’s not even a potential downside to Dolly’s encounter! She gives you an Extra Life or increases your max max HP, in case you want your max hp to be maxxer than your max max HP.
Ok, maybe there is a downside to this if you’re a super gamer and are planning on getting hit at all. But maybe you’ll want that hp for… Something else??
JOLLY JOKER
Coming straight from the stanky old deck of cards that your grandma still uses even though the 3 of clubs is missing and the frayed edges make it impossible to shuffle… The Jolly Joker!!!
Sneaks in some extra Joker cards in every world from now on! These act like pest nests, in case you want even more pests to encroach every single little aspect of your life.
Of course, this’ll replace existing buildings, so don’t get too giddy… But remember that Ancient Astronaut from earlier? If worlds have more waves, that means more space for more buildings... Oh god, my pests are synergizing all over the place!!! Get a room you guys!!!!
