Join Campus Life at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne!

[p]Hi Students!

It’s time to pack your bags – we’re going to Gamescom! From August 20th through the whole event, we’ll be waiting for you with awesome merch, a hands-on demo of Campus Life, and plenty of time to chat. Come play, share your thoughts, and hang out with us – we can’t wait to meet our players in person![/p][p][/p][p]📍 You can find us at Indie Arena Booth, Hall 10.2 – don’t be shy, come over and say hi![/p][p]
First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who joined our recent playtests! We’re beyond grateful for all the feedback, suggestions, and honest opinions you shared with us. Every single note helps us shape Campus Life into the game you actually want to play.[/p][p]Your comments on performance and customization were heard loud and clear. While an open world makes optimization a challenge, we've made incredible progress and believe you'll be happy with the results at launch. Plus, we're excited to confirm that more character customization is coming, including sliders![/p][p][/p][p]Based on what you told us, we’ve already started adding some exciting new features and the first one is all about self-expression. We’re adding graffiti! Soon you’ll be able to decorate the walls of your campus with colorful tags, murals, and all kinds of chaotic doodles. It’s your space, your style, make the university truly yours! This feature was directly inspired by The Movement, so those of you who joined the playtests already know where the idea came from 😉 [/p][p][/p][p]Another big addition based on your feedback is the skill tree. From now on, you’ll be able to shape your student’s journey more clearly by choosing different abilities and paths to develop. It gives you a stronger sense of progression and lets you customize how your character grows throughout their time on campus. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Another change that came straight from your playtest feedback is the character scale. We’ve decided to increase the size of our students, making them feel more natural and better proportioned within the campus. It might sound like a small tweak, but trust us – it really changes the vibe when you see your character walking around the university grounds. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We've also tweaked the third-person camera to be more immersive and give you a better view of the action:[/p][p][/p][p]And that’s it for today’s devlog! Thanks for sticking around and reading through all the updates – we can’t wait to hear what you think once you try them out. Most importantly, we hope to see you at Gamescom! Remember, you can find us at Indie Arena Booth, Hall 10.2,  come say hi, grab some merch, and play the game.
[/p][p]And to wrap things up with something fun… yes, you can now dance in front of the mirror. Whether it’s practicing moves, showing off your rhythm, or just goofing around, sometimes student life needs a little bit of dancing.
See you in Cologne![/p]

Let’s start the Playtests! New Features, New Trailer!

Attention Students! 🔔
[p][/p][p]Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for! From today and for the next week you’ll have the opportunity to play Campus Life and bring a real impact to the development of the game![/p][p]But before we get to the part where I tell you about all the new things we've added lately, check out our newest trailer! [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Between testing, tweaking, balancing and bug hunting, our dev team barely had time to catch their breath. And just when we thought we had everything under control, something… unexpected happened.

A group of students calling themselves The Movement started popping up all over campus. Posters. Graffiti. Even mysterious messages on our Discord. How did they get there? No clue. (Well, we might have a clue - but let’s pretend we don’t.)

They claim they want to make Campus Life “more fun, more real, more alive.” And while they’ve caused a bit of a stir, we have to admit - they’ve got a point.

So here we are: the Movement opened the gates, and the Campus Life Playtests are now live.

Whether you’re part of their mission or just curious, you’re invited.

[/p][p]So, you didn’t jump straight into the playtest?  Respect. Since you’re still scrolling… we’ve got some spicy updates to share.

First up: you can now move around campus on a bike.

Yep - finally. Grab one and cruise between buildings like you own the place (or at least pretend to.)

[/p][p]And that’s not all.

We’ve also made one of the biggest system changes yet - to bring more life and momentum to your campus days.

Time now flows continuously. No more frozen clocks. No more waiting for the next block to start. If you’re running late - well, you’re running late. Better plan your days, watch the clock, and don’t miss that class (or date). So yes - no more chilling forever. Time waits for no one now.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]That’s it - for now. Campus Life is shifting and if you’ve read this far… well, you’re already part of it. The Movement’s got eyes everywhere. So go. Ride. Be late. Be early. Try stuff. Break things (gently). Tell us what works. Tell us what doesn’t. We will be watching and listening. [/p][p]Want to let us know more of your thoughts? Join our Discord ![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]See you on campus!

Digital Dragons here we are! Today and tomorrow the first players will experience Campus Life after the changes the developers worked on for the last year! If by any chance you will be visiting the event be sure to check up on us and say “Hi”!
You feedback - We listen
Since the last Steam Next Fest and the private testing we did, we’ve managed to gather a lot of useful feedback regarding the game and the systems in it. The first major change the developers added is the updated calendar. Now you won’t be thinking about “what to do”, instead you now can see everything you can do in your free time!

First lunch with Maya and then I need to call Mom…

But that isn’t the only change we’re introducing for you to playtest. After long analysis of the provided feedback the developers looked more into the minigames that play out while your student attends their lectures. They’ve been changed a bit to be more engaging than simple quick time events. We can't wait for your opinions about them!

Here’s some simple math for you!

Now I regret that I haven’t read all that much…

And with that we’ve arrived at the end. Thank you for reading it all to the end, the main goal of this short Devlog was to invite you to join us at the Digital Dragons Conference and to remind you that the playtests will start soon!

As always, we’re incredibly grateful for your continued support, and I hope to see you play the game in the future! If you don't want to miss any future Devlogs, consider adding Campus Life to your wishlist and be sure to join our Discord!

Cheers!

Campus Life Playtest - Sign NOW!

Hello Students!

We’ve been silent for long enough! A lot was going on on campus, but we think we’re ready to present you with an opportunity to finally invite some more students to visit the college grounds and participate in a wider private testing of Campus Life!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

This testing will begin at the end of May, but we want you to register for the playtest at your convenience. The first “wave” of testing has already commenced; our selected testers had the opportunity to play the game and give us feedback, for which we’re incredibly grateful!
The second wave will be held at the Digital Dragons event here in Cracow on the 18th to 20th of May. We’re looking forward to meeting you there!
The third and final wave will be players who registered via the Steam Page to participate in the tests, which will be held after the Digital Dragons event at the end of May.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2103090/Campus_Life/

Using this moment, we’d like to thank our testers for their hard work!
Let’s take a look at what’s new on the campus!
First of all, and most importantly, we’ve decided to follow your feedback and change the characters a bit. We understood that they were making some people a bit uncomfortable, so we’ve decided to make their bodies a bit bigger and their heads a bit smaller. This will keep the overall feeling of the game while also making them a bit more realistic.

Keep in mind that they can still change a bit before the final release!

The game got a few new interactions since we last did a playtest on Steam. You’ll have a lot more things to do this time around - remember to call your Mom when you get to the Campus safely!

It’s not really a Mom, but it will do

Or maybe invite someone to finish a puzzle together!

Puzzle ain’t your cup of tea? No worries, the university finished constructing the new Gym along with the pool, so you can polish your skills and body.

Breathe in… Breathe out…

And yes, for those of you wondering - You can add tatoos to your character!

Still not hitting that nerdy sweet spot? How about playing a game within a game? Our university comes fully equipped with arcade machines, tabletop tables, and so much more to scratch that nerdy itch!

If you play a game within a game, does that mean that the game runs on real power?

And with that…
…We’ve arrived at the end of this Devlog. Remember to sign up for the chance to take part in the playtest. As always, we’re incredibly grateful for your continued support, and I hope to see you play the game in the future! If you don't want to miss any future Devlogs, consider adding Campus Life to your wishlist and be sure to join our Discord!

Cheers!

Discover the Heart of Campus Life
Hello Students!
We've been silently at work for the past few months. The feedback from the Next Fest's Demo was enormous and a lot of work needed to be done to meet your future expectations. While we still polish the details and mechanics Here's a few cool locations that NEEDED to be in the game!
Amphitheater on the Island – The Stage is Yours!
A unique location set on an island, surrounded by water and lush greenery, offering the perfect space for theatrical performances. In the game, you can sit in the audience and enjoy your friends' shows.
Woodland Music Stage – Let the Melody Flow
A small music stage nestled on the edge of the forest is the ideal spot for intimate concerts and jam sessions. Showcase your solo skills while enjoying the serene natural surroundings.
Garden of Growth – A Green Thumb’s Paradise
Next to the planetarium, you'll find a community garden where you can grow fresh vegetables and flowers. This area is perfect for relaxation and meditation.
Market Buzz – Food Trucks and Books
The marketplace is the social hub of the campus. Books, street food, and conversations at outdoor tables make it the perfect place to unwind.
Outdoor Cinema – Films Under the Stars
Under the open sky, with soft rugs and cushions, you can host your own movie night. Watching your favorite films under a starry sky is one of the most captivating experiences in the game.
Indian Tents – Tradition Meets Modernity
Vibrant Indian tents serve as a space for gatherings, conversations, and storytelling. Plan an evening with friends here or participate in the cultural events organized by the game.

Every location in Campus Life is not just a space but a story waiting to be told and experienced. How will you use these places in your adventure?
