Demo Version 0.8.4

Hi all,

This update is pretty big, and I'm quite excited by it.

TL;DR: You can move units and items around in ways you couldn't before. For example: you can move a unit from your grid back into the hold spot. Maybe if you give that unit in the hold spot a "when held between battles" distillation, it will work?! What I'm saying is, it opens up a lot of weird strategies.

๐Ÿฆพ Damage taken during preparation phase is applied when preparation is over so that enemy teams can also use preparation attack (and so damage isn't saved)

๐Ÿ› Normalizes how sell prices are calculated even if you move something out of grid

๐Ÿฆพ Allows character movement from hold to buy spot, from grid to buy spot, and from buy spot to buy spot

๐Ÿบ Characters and items can be discarded directly from buy spots

๐Ÿฆพ Units can be moved from grid onto hold spot

New Demo Version!

Hi all!

I just uploaded a new version of the demo with some big mechanical updates.

The biggest change is that now units will trade damage during attacks. This makes the game a lot faster in a good way I think.

Second is the introduction of cell effects. These are buffs and debuffs that happen to units in specific cells. This makes the arrangement and positioning of your grid even more strategic.

Other than this, there are many small improvements and bug fixes.

Happy to say that the demo for Order Automatica is now live!

Steam playtest is now open

Today I've opened the up the Steam playtest for Order Automatica!

I'm working towards creating a demo, but as an initial offering I've opened up the playtest to anyone who signs up. The playtest version has what I hope to have in the demo + a little bit more.
