It consists of semi-cross-seat cars and double-decker Green cars, and continues to serve as the mainstay on lines such as the Shōnan-Shinjuku Line and Ueno-Tōkyō Line.[/h3][h3]It typically operates in 10-car or 15-car formations and can also be seen running in conjunction with the E233 series.
