Featuring a completely redesigned control system through extensive adoption of information technology, it unified the basic specifications for commuter and Suburban Types while employing a wider body to alleviate crowding. The introduction of the Train Information Management System (TIMS) significantly reduced wiring, optimized air conditioning through fully automatic control, and automated pre-departure inspections, resulting in a maintenance-free system.[/p][p]The E231 Series(Suburban Type) was designed for medium-distance trains and is a Suburban-Type train with semi-cross seating and toilets installed in multiple locations throughout the train. It was introduced sequentially on various lines, such as the Utsunomiya Line, Takasaki Line, and Tōkaidō Line, replacing the 113, 115, and 211 Series trains that had been in operation since the Japanese National Railways era. Initially, no Green Cars were attached, but with the start of Green Car service on the Utsunomiya Line, Takasaki Line, and Shōnan-Shinjuku Line in 2004, two double-decker Green Cars were attached.[/p][p]In 2015, the Ueno-Tōkyō Line also opened, and the trains now operate over a wide area, including Utsunomiya, Maebashi, Ito, and Numazu. Depending on the train, you may also see 15-car formations coupled with E233 Series trains.[/p][p]It has been over 20 years since the E231 Series(Suburban Type) debuted, and the equipment in the cars is being updated, but the cars that have not been updated are popular with fans because they make a unique motor sound when accelerating.[/p][p]This DLC recreates the unmodified E231 Series(Suburban Type) trains belonging to Oyama Rolling Stock Center. Please enjoy operating the E231 Series with its distinctive motor sounds.[/p]
Vehicle Information
[p]Delivered Vehicles: E231 Series(Suburban Type)[/p][p]Supported Routes: Tōkaidō Line (Tōkyō→Atami 104.6km)[/p][p] Utsunomiya Line (Kuroiso→Tōkyō 163.3km)[/p][p]           Takasaki Line (Ueno→Takasaki 101.4km)[/p][p] Shōnan-Shinjuku Line (Ōmiya→Zushi 86.1km)[/p][p][/p][p]※To play each train in the E231 Series (Suburban Type) Vehicle DLC, you must first purchase the Base Pack and the DLC for the applicable route.[/p][p]If you do not own the DLC for the applicable route, only the Tokaido Line local train (Tōkyō ⇒ Shinagawa section) included in the Base Pack can be operated using the E231 vehicles.[/p][p]※You cannot operate the 521M train implemented in the 185 Series DLC using the E231 Series.[/p][p]※This DLC purchase does not add any new timetables.[/p][p]※Due to filming constraints, departure/arrival tracks may differ from actual tracks on some timetables.[/p]

[p][/p]
International sales price: US$22.99
[p]The store page is open to the public.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][/p]
The following updates are planned to coincide with the release of the DLC.
[p] 【Jōban Line】[/p]
