About the Line
The Senseki Line connects Sendai City and Ishinomaki City in Miyagi Prefecture. Like the Saikyo Line, the Senseki Line is characterized by the use of ATACS security equipment in some sections. From Aobadori Station to Hon-Shiogama Station, the line runs through a bedroom town of Sendai; from Hon-Shiogama Station to Tona Station, it runs along Matsushima Bay with Matsushima, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, at its side; and from Tona Station to Ishinomaki Station, it runs through a rural landscape.
The Senseki Line, which runs along the coastline, was severely damaged by the earthquake and tsunami that struck on March 11, 2011, and the entire line was closed.
The line between Rikuzen-Otsuka and Rikuzen-Ono stations, which are located in low-lying areas and were particularly severely damaged, was relocated to higher ground inland and resumed full service on May 30, 2015, four years after the line was closed.

”Keihin-Tohoku Line and Negishi Line" Basic Pack is updated free of charge!

Thank you for playing JR East Train Simulator.
Thank you for your patience. The Keihin-Tohoku Line," which was well received in the Early Access version, is now back in the basic pack with an extended section!
About the Route
The Keihin-Tohoku Line and Negishi Line are major lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area connecting Omiya Station in Saitama Prefecture and Ofuna Station in Kanagawa Prefecture.
The safety system are implemented with D-ATC (Digital ATC), which allows passengers to grasp the allowable speed with a speedometer at hand.
Between Tabata and Tamachi Stations, the line runs parallel to the Yamanote Line, and the Keihin Tohoku Line operates as a rapid train in this section during the daytime.
(*This video was recorded before the opening of Takanawa Gateway Station.)

*The voice "The stop pattern is for each station" is followed by "The stop pattern is for rapid trains", but this is due to the specification when operating the driver's cab selection switch and reproduces the actual environment.
