1000 Reviews and Thank You!

Hello Spiritographers!

It's been an exciting three days since launch!
We reached over 1000 Steam reviews and are at Overwhelmingly Positive!
From the bottom of our hearts, we are truly thankful for the amazing support from this community! You've all been so understanding and encouraging!
Mooncube Games is a 3 person team, and this is our first game, we never imagined such an incredible response to our little lofi productivity game 💗.
We've been listening to all the feedback in reviews, the Steam forums and our discord server. We can't respond to everything, but we are paying attention!

Our focus right now is tackling bugs that have come up.
We're aware of some localization issues and are committed to updating it.
We also know that there are some input issues for Chinese, Japanese and Korean users. We would ask users having this issue to help us with more info as we're not familiar with these input types. If you notice any translation errors please let us know!

Our discord is the best place to reach us. We are also doing our best to keep up with the Steam forums.

We are excited to start on new content after we tackle the bigger issues!
Thank you so much again!

As always, we welcome you to join or our cozy community.

Launch hotfixes

We've heard some people had issues with the game not closing cleanly, having Steam think the game was still open. So we're pushing a potential fix for this!

  • Fixed an issue where Steam would think the game is still 'running' even after it was closed for some users.
NOTE: This could also help with some people experiencing issues with their save files (as they might've been lost when the game didn't properly exit).
  • Replaced some placeholder icons in the UI.

This "gamified focus tool" lets you construct your own lofi girl/boy to chill/study with

I've worked from home for most of the past decade, but it was during the pandemic lockdowns that I was finally indoctrinated into the world of co-working streams, pomodoro timers and lofi beats to chill/study to. I'm better now, but I absolutely see the appeal of Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, a "gamified focus tool" that just launched on Steam.

Most days I feel like my brain is constantly in overdrive. I struggle to happily exist in silence, everything is vying for my attention, and I have a severe case of Magpie Syndrome that leads me astray down hours-long rabbit holes when I should be focusing on an important task. I've been doing a lot of research into productivity crap lately as a result—how the hell do I become a better, more well-rounded adult who has their shit together? Turns out, maybe it's videogames...

Launch hotfixes

The game has now been out for 24h and while we're still fixing some priority bugs and trying to answer all questions, the reception so far is nothing short of amazing! Thank you so much!

Here are the fixes we pushed in the first 24h, including an important fix to saving progression.

  • Fixed an issue where some players would lose their purchased items or avatar and room customization setup after exiting the game or after a crash. For those that were affected, we have a guide available on our Steam forum on how to reset your game progress.
  • Fixed an issue with the pomodoro timer being unresponsive after removing a timer loop
  • Fixed an issue where one "top" clothing item was not the right item represented by the icon
