[/h3][p]We are now officially part of Lofi Gaming, the video game division of Lofi Girl, built to explore new ways of bringing calm, creativity, and community into gaming experiences.[/p][p]Lofi Girl, the global platform known for its iconic 24/7 chill beats livestream, is excited to welcome Mooncube Games, the indie studio behind Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, into its creative universe. [/p][p][/p][p]This collaboration is more than just a partnership, it’s a natural fusion of two creative worlds with a shared vision: building peaceful, uplifting spaces for students, gamers, creators, and anyone in need of calm respite in their day.[/p][p]Our collaboration officially begins on August 25th, bringing a curated selection of Lofi Girl tracks to the game for the very first time.[/p][p][/p][h3]What does this mean for Spirit City: Lofi Sessions?[/h3][p][/p][p]Q: Will there be Lofi Girl music in Spirit City?[/p][p]A: Yes! Known for their iconic Youtube channel, Lofi Girl has a huge selection of tracks from amazing artists. You will begin to see these tracks making their way into Spirit City starting August 25th.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Is the original Mooncube Games team still working on the game?[/p][p]A: Yes, 100%. We’re still here, same team, same energy, same love for Spirit City. Nothing’s changing on that front.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Are you still indie?[/p][p]A: Yes and we still operate with the heart and mindset of an indie studio. What’s changing is that we’re now part of the Lofi Girl family, joining their new Lofi Gaming division. That said, nothing changes about how we create or why we create. We are staying true to ourselves and our values: creativity, kindness, and cozy experiences are exactly what brought us together in the first place and we’re not changing that.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Will the "spirit" of the game stay the same?[/p][p]A: Absolutely. Spirit City was built around calm, creativity, and kindness, and those values are here to stay. One of the key points of Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is for content creators to be able to use the in-game music while streaming, so this is very important for us to keep. As before though, the music coming from the in-game web browser cannot be guaranteed to be stream-friendly. [/p][p][/p][p]Q: Will the new music be AI-generated?[/p][p]A: Absolutely not. That was never the case, we believe in the talent, creativity, and heart that only human artists can bring. All of our music and art is made by real people, and that will never change.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Will there still be the web music browser in-game?[/p][p]A: Yes, the web music browser might have a different landing page, but you’ll still be able to use it to listen to anything you want.[/p][p][/p][p]Q: Will my Streams/VODs from before the 25th be affected?[/p][p]A: All previous music will stay stream-safe, so you can keep using it on your streams without any copyright issues. We believe that any improvements we add to QoL and productivity tools should be offered free with the base game.
