Hotfix 1.9.1
Hello Spiritographers!
With the Spring update (1.9.0), we introduced a major change to the session timer with many new features. While many folks appreciated the improvements, it didn't quite resonate with everyone. It's important to us that Spirit City: Lofi Sessions remains as accessible as possible, so we've been carefully tracking your feedback and added some of the most requested features for the session timer.
Here are the full patch notes:
Additionally, we hope you appreciate the MacOS version thus far! Here's a list of known issues for MacOS:
Thank you for your support, and have a great productive week!
- Added an alternative circle view for the session timer, in the timer options menu
- Added an option to hide the countdown numbers in the timer options menu
- Adjusted the minute limit amount for the Session timer from 60 to 180
- Fixed an issue where the Session timer would sometimes add 15 seconds to a session segment
- Fixed an issue where the timer would sometimes badly convert remaining minutes when it is running
- Fixed an issue where the new Session timer can sometimes appear to be less wide than its default width, causing the interface to not fit inside of it
- Fixed an issue where the timer could not have :00 as seconds
- Adjusted the session timer so that long break can be set to 0 minutes, removing it from the session
- Added a setting to hide the clock UI altogether in the game settings menu
- Fixed texture artifacts in color customizable gaming chair
- Fixed an issue where the new Spiritdex hints weren't being shown in the "reached new spiritographer rank" pop-up
- Fixed an issue with some eyes disappearing on AMD Graphics cards and Steam Deck
- Fixed an issue with a certain Kitchen beam accent disappearing when selected
Additionally, we hope you appreciate the MacOS version thus far! Here's a list of known issues for MacOS:
- The Steam overlay appearing as glitchy on Apple Silicon chips, appears for achivements pop-ups as well. This is unfortunately not in our control and is on Steam's side to fix.
- A small number of players can have launch issues where the game says it's "Missing game files". For some, reinstalling the game should fix this issue, but it seems like there's more to do on our side to prevent this from happening. We are looking into it.
- The game's unfocused FPS settings are not being applied on Mac, resulting in a higher constant FPS usage. In the meantime, if you feel like the game is a lot to handle for your hardware, we recommend setting a lower FPS setting or lowering the screen resolution scale for now.
Thank you for your support, and have a great productive week!
