RaceRoom Q4 2025 Update

[p]The final update of the year is here, and it brings two major touring car packs plus a brand new machine making its debut in RaceRoom.[/p][p][/p]
DTM 2002 Car Pack
[p]Buy now [/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]One of the most iconic DTM seasons arrives in full, bringing back the raw sound, bold designs and fierce manufacturer rivalry that defined early 2000s touring car racing. The complete 2002 grid has been recreated with authentic liveries for:[/p]
AMG Mercedes CLK DTM

Abt Audi TT R

Opel Astra V8 Coupe
[p][/p][p]Every track used in the 2002 season is already available in RaceRoom, so players can run the full calendar with modern versions of the layouts.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The Abt Audi TT R received special attention during development. Thanks to our connection with Abt and KW Automotive we had hands on access to the real car, allowing us to match details, proportions and behaviour more accurately than ever.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Mercedes fans will also notice how the 2002 CLK differs from the 2003 model already in the game. The 2002 car has a more open front intake and lacks the side refuelling ports that were introduced in 2003 when DTM added mandatory pit stops. [/p][p][/p][p][/p]
DTM 2025 Car Pack
[p]Buy now[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]The new season is arriving with a complete set of fresh liveries for the GT3 field and one major new addition.[/p][p][/p]
New Car: BMW M4 GT3 EVO
[p]The BMW M4 GT3 EVO makes its debut in RaceRoom as part of the 2025 season. This update brings the revised aerodynamics, visual changes and performance characteristics of the updated BMW machine.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Traxion put together a great video that walks through the evolution of DTM and how it all comes together in RaceRoom.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

[p][/p]
Changelog:
• Updated to latest Thrustmaster SDK - Important note to all Thrustmaster users: The latest Thrustmaster app is required to update firmware and drivers for your devices to latest. Telemetry will not work otherwise. Visit https://support.thrustmaster.com for all info.
 • VNM Wheelbases - Fixed stationary friction (damper effect) and turned off spring-based lock. Added a pause of 0.1 seconds between uniting and recreating FFB effects when pausing / unpausing gameplay, which fixes the issue where FFB would become odd after unpausing gameplay
 • Asetek wheelbases - Allowed vendor specific lock
 • Fixes for last remaining user reported game crashes.
 • Force Feedback - Forces are now consistent no matter the steering range selected in car setup. Fixes FFB becoming really strong and compressed with low values of steering range.
 • Turbo code - Fixed an issue where turbo pressure built from engine load instead of throttle, which fixes the blowoff valve sounds playing constantly when applying constant throttle input
 • Sounds - Added a way for us to boost some tyre screech sounds from very light cars or with very low loads, applied it to the Formula Junior for now as the tyres there felt a bit silent. Feedback is welcome
 • AMG-Mercedes CLK DTM 2003 - Physics updated to match up with the newly released 2002 car
 • GT3 spec tyres - increased their grip curves. Affects all cars equipped with GT3 spec tyres which includes Aquila, Audi TT RS VLN, GT4’s, German Nationals, GT1’s, GT2’s, Pagani Zonda R for example
 • Non-EVO GT3 cars received updated physics (older gen Audi R8, BMW M4, Mclaren 720s, Mercedes)
