Hotfix v0.6.7 [6228]

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Curse sensor reworked to sense cursed items in a sizeable radius around player not room specific anymore. This helps it become less OP and create an element of guess work where you can calculate the position of the item by moving around or using it for exclusion.
  • Nyx can now see the Poltergeist with her ability
  • Adjusted the volume of a few sounds in lobby such as vending kick or doll easter egg
  • You now can't use abilities or look at cooldown watch after picking up a poltergeist
  • Zay Q now calls dog immediately to jump in Zay's hands if you have Portable Cupcake node

  • Fixed Widow still being able to make player stuck on client players
  • Fixed issue with Widow making player invisible on end game screen
  • Fixed invite button not showing for joined players in pause menu
  • Fixed back button in session UI breaking by going into the right
  • Fixed chameleon silhouette rotating wrong for Nyx ability
  • Fixed Hermit card not properly stopping Stalker hunts (you could still die to him)
  • Fixed Eirene not scrolling to card after using ability if Horder used steal behavior
  • Fixed Eirene redraw skill sometimes making you unable to flip/redraw cards unless you switch back and forth or scroll
  • Fixed being unable to flip cards in some cases related to lag/latency
  • Made the dog more reliable at picking up cursed items when found (Scout tree)
  • Fixed dog sometimes not reacting to being called by Zay Q
  • Fixed Luther dispel not working at releasing him from Grabber
  • Fixed suitcase being unpickable after Hoarder steals it

  • Grabber sound can now be heard by all players when someone gets grabbed

  • Fixed journal not being possible to exit from with J key
  • Fixed Lantern behaving weirdly when pressing Space bar
  • Fixed Lantern charging indicator not showing properly when its inside the charging unit
  • Fixed Nyx's Goosebumps (threat sense) not working on Chameleon
  • Fixed Nyx Occult Collector and made it more reliable
  • Made kidnap behavior of Widow more reliable to curb instances where it makes players stuck
  • Fixed Chameleon being curled up in the air and/or broken in the middle of the map.
  • Fixed crouch still notifying Weeper in recent updates.
  • Fixed Chameleon despawning before ever being seen
  • Fixed Widow dragging players into minighosts on clients (was only fixed for host)
  • Fixed lantern unable to be picked up except with empty hand when they're slotted in charger.

  • Chameleon spawn chance significantly reduced if there is already one in the game

Chameleon Update v0.6.4

  • New Minighost: Chameleon
    A crawling menace that blends with the background and sticks to walls, waiting for prey.
  • Added Lobby ID in character select UI
  • Disabled player being killable by other minighosts while being dragged by Widow for now (will bring back soon)
  • Increase crouch speed
  • Widow is back live now after fixing its bugs
  • Double character XP is now off
  • Changed Nyx's Hex Sense (ally sense death) sound to sound more identifiable (like threat sense)

  • Fixed poltergeist sometimes showing as not cursed after an item shuffle
  • Fixed typos in the skill tree such as Nyx hex sense node

  • Bug where flashlight keeps working after being put in trunk or thrown
  • Tutorial Exoricsm circle does not show
  • A zay buff is planned
  • Extension for the skill tree progression is also planned
  • Nyx threat sense might not be working as intended
  • We're planning a curse sensor rework (it's too strong sorry)

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Lobbies now generate IDs others can paste to join (can be found in pause menu inside the lobby)
  • Changed the Default sanity effect to something less nausea inducing. The default has been changed to become the Alternative. You can switch between them in settings.
  • Reaper balance
    • Added hint in Reaper description to it being able to go outside
    • Reaper now slightly shows in the dark
    • Reaper is unlikely to mark someone in early game.
    • Reaper is now more common in harder difficulties than low ones

  • Fixed Eirene redraw making the card unable to flip
  • Fixed energy drink causing some item loss or inventory bugs
  • Fixed a vending machine bug that makes your currency show wrong
  • Fix Zay/Eirene bug where inventory breaks if you're using the magnifier and then press Q to activate ability while zoomed in.
  • Fix for Widow placing players in furniture or walls after grabbing them
  • Fixed bug where Golden Eyes screen effect stays forever if Luther dies or goes inside the car during pray
