Hotfix v0.4.1

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Added Ukrainian language
  • Added Arcade screen for Widow.
  • Balanced Steam pipe events in the Ship to not trigger while a flooding event is happening.
  • Disabled the mechanic of the Exorcism circle changing locations in ship map for now. Will rethink this design
  • Slowed down the ghosts at higher difficulties a little.
  • Ghost now pauses for longer between kills during Nightmare/Unknown hunts.
  • Pushed an experimental change that could potentially fix disconnects. Please report any if you get them.

  • Fixed the bug with Widow screaming repeatedly when using Luther's ability.
  • Fixed a bug with Widow not playing the correct animation on clients
  • Fixed the bug with double heartbeat after revive
  • Fixed a bug with being able to duplicate Zay's dog if you enter car with someone holding it
  • Fixed a bug with inventory breaking as Zay if you use Q while someone else is holding the dog
  • Some Hospital map fixes such as collisions or broken scannables/collectables
  • Fixed bug with player lights showing on other players after being revived
  • Fixed a bug with muting (using M hotkey) not persisting over going ingame and back out
  • Fixed an exploit with the tutorial where you can buy infinite bells and magnifiers
  • Fixed a bug with the tutorial where you can burn all items before doing the scanning step and not be able to progress it.
  • Fixed a bug with Eirene cards not showing on spectator

Halloween Update v0.4.0

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • NEW GHOST: The Widow

  • NEW MAP: St. Lawrence Hospital

  • Halloween theme: Lobby decorations and character skins!
  • Localization for the following languages: Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese (BR), Russian, Polish, Korean, Japanese, Chinese. More to come.
  • Zay ability rework. You can now also pickup Cupcake ingame and he can sniff out rooms for Cursed items
  • Spirit Phone tool rework. Now it lets you talk to other players not just dead teammates. Toggle it on and talk!
  • Ship map rework.
    • Added new map specific mechanics such as flooding and steam pipes.
    • Burner now only rotates on higher difficulties between 3 places, though I'm thinking of reworking this too in a hotfix.
    • Large areas that were annoying to navigate are now switched to double light switches impacting the same lights, or triple if needed.
  • Reworked Miasma visuals to not have the smoke anymore. Just red light now.
  • Added Chromatic Aberration setting
  • You now get refunded the money for items left in the lobby.
  • Kick is now indicated in text instead of "connection lost" so there is a difference.
  • Ghost speed now balances a lot stronger with difficulty (please give feedback on this)
  • Added an alternative insanity feedback type in graphic settings.
  • Heavy items now just get automatically dropped on using abilities.

[h3]Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed 2 crashes on launches related to Dolby Atmos and GameAnalytics
  • Fixed crash related to exiting and entering the car
  • Fixed a few crashes related to voice chat
  • Fixed most disconnects related to the connection being overloaded.
  • Potential fix for the Hanged Man delay bug, overall made it more reliable
  • Some quality fixes for ship map such as glowing materials in the dark
  • Fixed a lot of ghost events not working for all players.
  • Nyx ability now works for spectators
  • Fixed a bug with game not ending if last player leaves.
  • Fixed a bug where you can duplicate the default loadout
  • Fixed a bug with default load out not showing for new players right after the tutorial
  • Fixed output device being empty on launch sometimes
  • Some fixes to cupcake so it can reliably follow player better.
  • Spirit Phone now has a proper effect on its sounds instead of clear audio.
  • Made the backend a lot more reliable
  • Improved voice chat stability.

  • Character Progression and Perks(Gonna take some more time sadly)
  • More localization languages, and localizing the Steam page.
  • Adding a Refund chute in the lobby to refund items on demand

  • Known bugs we'll hotfix include Zay inventory bug, Stalker stability in hospital, muting not persisting, hotfixing the Widow's humming

Ship Update v0.3.0

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • NEW MAP: S.S. Morgana and its unique Ritual Circle mechanic
  • NEW DIFFICULTY: Unknown Difficulty
  • Players now teleport to the Ritual Circle on successful exorcism.
  • Character select now has voice chat working in it.
  • The Exorcism Manual now in the lobby shows information about each character's abilities only.
  • You can now punch the vending machine if items are stuck :punch: (interact with it anywhere)
  • Default loadout is now removable
  • Ghost hunt warning time now scales with difficulty
  • Added it as an option to mute sounds when tabbed out instead of always being on.

  • Eirene cards now go back to previously held item after use
  • Fixed double voice bug // Muting not fully muting other players in the lobby for host
