BETA: Version 0.9c - Further Ascension changes

[p][/p][p]Overall, the idea is to revise some Ascensions and generally make them more adequate and passable. The first 19 have now been reworked, and the twentieth remains.[/p][p][/p][p]The Necromancer's Tower is also under development.[/p]

  • [p]New starting bonus: increase gold per round, but remove the Goose Relics[/p]

  • [p]New starting bonus: the first Tower placed gets a level-up, but is excluded from rolls[/p]
  • [p]Visualization for blocking the 'Stairway to Heaven' Relic if there is a Unifying Tower[/p]

  • [p]Fixed the problem that a placeholder Relic could appear in the penalty that excludes a Relic. That placeholder Relic didn't drop in the normal game anyway[/p]
  • [p]Improvements for the new Ascensions 16 and 17: additional EXP from converting HP/DMG for level 1 Towers is limited to leveling up to level 2, after which the HP/DMG bonus starts up again, minus what got converted to EXP[/p]
  • [p]Reset Token activation when activating Tower skills, and vice versa. This prevents situations where they could be used simultaneously on one Tower[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p]This update has been uploaded to the beta branch. If you want to play with the new bonuses, right-click on Epic Auto Towers in your Steam library, then select "Properties..." -> "Betas" -> "beta - Beta Branch." In the library, the game will now look like this: [/p][p][/p]

Beta: Change in Ascensions 16 and 17

  • [p]Level 1 Towers cannot deal more than 50 damage -> Level 1 Towers cannot deal more than 100 damage. Excess damage is converted into Tower experience.[/p]
  • [p]Level 1 Towers cannot have more than 50 HP -> Level 1 Towers cannot have more than 100 HP. Excess HP is converted into Tower experience.[/p]

Beta branch: Additional bonuses for high ascensions

[p]This update has been uploaded to the beta branch. If you want to play with the new bonuses, right-click on Epic Auto Towers in your Steam library, then select "Properties..." -> "Betas" -> "beta - Beta Branch." In the library, the game will now look like this: [/p][p][/p][p]Changes to the bonus system begin with the ninth ascension. [/p][p][/p][h3]This is a major update that introduces a new mechanic: at Ascension 9 and above, you can choose an additional starting bonus that is stronger. Many of such bonuses have been added. The strongest of these bonuses also come with serious penalties. The players can also choose to skip the second bonus.[/h3][p] [/p][p]Other improvements:[/p]
  • [p]Spinning Top has been sped up in situations where there are less than 5 Towers in a roll (for example, because of Berserk Tower)[/p]

Version 0.88b

Changes for the Thieves' Den Tower: Now each Thieves' Den doubles the reroll cost. Also, Thieves' Dens give slightly less gold at higher levels.
