Seclusa will release on February 16!

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hello![/p][p][/p][p]We're excited to finally announce the release date for Seclusa, which will be coming up in just a few weeks on February 16![/p][p][/p][p]We'll also have a more finalized, updated demo version available around the same time, and hopefully a new trailer as well.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for sticking with us throughout the (very) long development process, we're nearly there![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Demo Update -- 0.9.9.5

[p]Tiny update![/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes for Demo 0.9.9.5: [/p][p][/p][h3]Small Tweaks[/h3]
  • [p] You now start the demo with 100 credits.[/p]
  • [p] Removed confirm popups when buying camera upgrades via the Processing menu.[/p]
  • [p] Removed 'click + hold' functionality from opening card packs.[/p]
  • [p] Increased the odds for getting the demo's only 3 star card.[/p]
  • [p] Small visual tweaks to the clouds.[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]Fixed a couple of small localization bugs.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where the cat's affection meter could occasionally lock up.[/p]
  • [p]A few other minor bugfixes.[/p]

Demo Update -- 0.9.9.4

[p]Hello![/p][p][/p][p]While we're in the process of finishing up Seclusa, we've made a fairly substantial update to the demo that brings it closer to its final iteration.[/p][p][/p][p]No detailed patch notes for this, but here are some of the highlights (v0.9.9.4):[/p]
  • [p]Added the ability to give the lodge cat outfits (the demo only has one hat at the moment).[/p]
  • [p]More camera control while the processing menu is open, including adjusting focus distance.[/p]
  • [p]Added a framed photo at the lodge that you can put your own photos in (you'll have to click on the existing wall art above the fireplace to access it).[/p]
  • [p]A few more camera processing upgrades are now available.[/p]
  • [p]Improved wildlife AI and pathfinding.[/p]
  • [p]Various changes to the progression and flow of the demo.[/p]
  • [p]Many QoL improvements, visual improvements, and bug fixes across the board.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Please note that this update will reset any existing save data you have (including input rebinds!).[/p][p](If you're still given the option to 'resume' your game, hit 'new game' instead, or you may run into some issues).[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for playing our demo![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Development Update!

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hello![/p][p][/p][p]We have a small update to give on the progress of Seclusa![/p][p][/p][p]We were really hoping to release it this year, but we're unfortunately going to have to delay it a bit longer, with February 2026 as the new target. Once we lock down the specific date, we'll make another update post with those details.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, for those who have been enjoying the demo (or haven't tried it yet), we have some slightly better news. We'll be making a fairly substantial update to it in the next week or two, integrating a number of features and QoL updates that will be part of the full game, so keep an eye out for that (we'll make a post when it's ready)![/p][p][/p][p]Thanks so much for your patience, and we'll be working to get Seclusa done as soon as we can![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

  • [p] A few minor bugfixes (these were fixed weeks ago and I forgot to write down what specifically was fixed. Sorry!)[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p]Barring any critical bugs, there will probably be one more demo update before the full game's release, which will finalize a number of things that are still unfinished (music & SFX mostly, but also a handful of other things that need some refinement, and a few outstanding bugs).[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
