Tenebris Somnia Demo v0.4

Combat:

• Faster wrench attack
  
• Revolver does more damage
  
• Revolver attacks faster
  
• Added random knockback to the revolver and based on distance
  

Enemies

• Ranged attack slowed down, now only occurs after being knocked back
  
• New close range attack with less damage
  
• Added quick close range attack with less damage when Julia moves around too much
  
• Removed impact sound when Julia is blinking
  
• Enemy noises pause when the game pauses
  

Cinematics

• Added new cinematic showing the character Iván
  
• All cinematics have had visuals and audio improved, some of them have new shots
  

Interactions

• You can interact only if you're facing the object
  
• General areas improved
  
• Item Labendoleum now gives you less sanity
  

Interface

• Added names of characters when they talk, also colored the frames
  
• Lot of adjustments to the text, both in English and Spanish
  
• Little fixes and and improvements to the menus and inventory
  
• Interface health portrait with more sanity states
  
• Language option removed from the in-game menu
  

Environments

• Changed Ivan picture on the second floor
  
• Added some new interactions to the environments
  
• Visual improvements to some of the rooms
  
• The TV from the second floor now has constant noise to be clear you need to do something there
  
• Adjusted the camera so you can see more of the game

[h3]A scary Halloween for Tenebris Somnia approaches! 🎃 [/h3]

During 2024 we have been doing dozens of filming sessions and making intense progress with the development of the game. But not only that, we expanded our film crew and also made new partners...


[h3]THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE[/h3]

One of the most important publishers of indie games during the last decade will now be in charge of distributing our title. We are talking about New Blood Interactive, the guys behind great hits like DUSK, AMID EVIL, Gloomwood, Fallen Aces and ULTRAKILL.

But that's not all... Airdorf, the creator of the terrifying FAITH: The Unholy Trinity, will now serve as the Executive Producer of Tenebris Somnia! MORTIS ✝

[h3]THE CINEMATICS[/h3]

Last month we had our biggest filming sessions to date. We built our own set inside a huge warehouse. It was a full week of shooting with more than thirty film specialists involved, including actors, technicians and production staff 🎥






We also had other film sessions at the beginning and middle of the year. With everything done to date, we could say that we have already filmed more than 60% of the game's story so far.


[h3]THE GAME[/h3]

Game development also continues progressing strongly. New scenarios, enemies, items and weapons are already part of the current game 🕹️

That’s why we decided to expand the playable demo so that you can taste a little more of what is coming in the final release, which we hope to achieve by the end of 2025.

But this is still only a small part of what is to come…

Incredible things continue to happen in the development of Tenebris Somnia, although we can't reveal more for now, we hope you enjoy the new demo and don't forget to tell us about it, what you liked and what you think we could improve on 🙌
