Winter Fishing Event

Jan's ready to lure you back in to the Reus River for some reel-y great glacial smelt fishing! This time around, you'll want to bundle up in the new Oversized Everyday Hoodie outfits before you chum the waters. Tackle in the details below!
[h2]Event Details[/h2]
Event Dates: Thursday, January 1st, After Maintenance - Thursday, January 29th, Before Maintenance
    During the event, you will receive the guide quest, [Guide] Jan’s Request.
    Talk to Jan next to the Reus River Mana Tunnel to register a main character.
    • You can only register one character per account.
    Once a character is registered, that character will receive a Snowfield L-Rod (Event), a stack of Glacier Smelt Bait Feeder (Event), and a Fishing Rod.Use the Snowfield L-Rods and the Land Maker action to make fishing holes along the river.
    • If you ever lose your Snowfield L-Rod (Event), speak to Jan and select "I need another Snowfield L-Rod" to receive another.
  • You’ll receive the following reward for completing [Guide] Jan’s Request:
    • 10,000 EXP

[h2] Daily Fishin' [/h2]
  • After agreeing to help Jan and the aquaphobic Seal Pal, he will give you the daily quest: [Event] Be the One Who Smelt It and Dealt It.
  • To create a fishing hole in the river, Humans and Elves must use Snowfield L-Rods. However, Giants can use Stomp to open one.
  • You will receive 100 bait each day for logging in on the character you registered as a main character.
  • You will receive the following rewards after completing [Event] Be the One Who Smelt It and Dealt It:
    • 200,000 EXP
    • 10,000 Gold
    • Glacier Smelt Bait Tin x30
[h2]Achievement Fishin'[/h2]
  • Bring Jan Glacier Smelts to receive rewards depending on the amount you bring him. Please be aware the [Event] Phishy Phobia in Physis quest must be in progress to receive the rewards.
  • You will receive the following rewards after completing [Event] Phishy Phobia in Physis:
    • 300,000 EXP
  • After each objective, you'll receive the following items:
    • Bring 30 Glacier Smelts - Golden Experience Fruit (500%) x2

  • Some Milletians have reported missing points towards their completion progress on the Refined Armory portion of the Master Plan: New Rise Event. Those with missing points will have them corrected during future maintenances throughout the duration of the event.
  • [FIXED] The "Ice Flower" and "Snowman" Stardust items currently cannot be used and will provide an error when attempting to add the Stardust to your collection. We are aware of the issue and are currently investigating it.

  • Efflam will now begin accepting a one-time trade from Milletians looking to exchange their Fergseus Weapon they received from the Fergseus Forge Event.
    • Due to the delay, we've extended the exchange period and will now run from December 18th (After Maintenance) ~ January 1st (Before Maintenance).
