Crom Bás: Unveiled Abyss

• To learn more about the Crom Bás update, check out the microsite and the dungeon guide.
  • The Crom Bás area and dungeon have been discovered in Tory Ravine.
  • You will receive the Crom Bás Dungeon quest, [Contents] Waves Amidst the Calm, and a Wings of the Blue Goddess (The Dunbarton Mailbox) if your character's Total Combat Skill Level is 1,500 or higher.
  • New enemies have been added, including the dungeon Boss, Irusan.
  • Clear the Crom Bás dungeon to earn new rewards as well as Adamantine Coins which can be used in Gillach's Shop.
    • Gillach's Shop will unlock in the Crom Bás Part 2 update.
  • New enchant scrolls and crafting materials can be obtained from the Crom Bás dungeon.
    • A new accessory, Irusan's Bell, can be crafted using the new material, Grumpy Cat's Marble.
  • The Moon Gate - Tory Ravine - Crom Bás Entrance has been added and can be teleported to using the Traveler's Guide.

Holiday Decorations

• Erinn is celebrating the holidays from Thursday, December 9th, After Maintenance to Thursday, January 13th, Before Maintenance, and the following areas will be decorated with holiday cheer:
  
  • The town of Dunbarton
  • The Dunbarton Church Tree
  • Festia
• Additionally, it will snow instead of rain during the event period.

The following changes have been made to the game:

• Players from the Netherlands now have trade limitations placed on them. For more information, please refer to the announcement post.
• Female Giants will no longer have closed hands when standing.
  • With the above change, the standing model of all characters, regardless of race or gender, has been changed so that the hands are either opened or closed randomly. 

The following bug fixes have been made to the game:

• Fixed a minor typo in the G16 quest, "The Crow's Call".
• Fixed an issue where the title "the Super Diligent" would be incorrect when equipped.
• Fixed an issue where the movement speed of an Elf character would be slow if they had a Bouquet item equipped.
• Fixed an issue where the Chef's Passion item could not be reforged.
• Fixed an issue where the newly added Shadow Missions did not drop Forgotten Tomb Key Exchange Tickets.
• Fixed an issue with the Pet Skill window not being able open with a shortcut key.
• Fixed a visual issue with the Fynn Bead Skill details button in the Pet/Partner Information window.

The following are known bugs:

• There is an issue where you cannot Friend Summon using Fynn Pets. It will show the error, "Unavailable because the owner has opened a Personal Shop".
• Some players' hotkeys and pet menu settings reset after logging out.
• During the Kraken Rex boss fight, Kraken Rex will use an attack that will cause players to lose protection, semi-permanently, until they change channels or relog.
• There is a typo in the Finishing Materials list when crafting the Dustin Silver Knight Greaves.
• There is a known issue where some players are unable to obtain the G1 quest "Find Goro's Ring".
• There is an issue where certain G3 cutscenes will not play, but still charge gold.
• There is an issue where Homestead item information is overlapping.
• There is an issue where the Today Visitor Count does not reset to 0. When a visiting character visits the Homestead, the Today and Total Count accumulates normally.
• The available upgrades in the Item Upgrade may overlap in the UI if the window is increased.
• Homestead Anvils and Furnaces have settings to allow visitors to use them, but do not actually restrict the use of the items.
• There is a slight graphical error where part of the hose is missing when a William or Butler Partner uses the Water Hose gesture.
• Some Partner gestures that have them holding a weapon will appear as though the weapon is disconnected and floating.
• There are Partner gestures that do not activate when a Partner has something equipped in their left hand.
• There is an issue after using the Thunder skill, the character can't charge Thunder again until after the Thunder bolt hits/damages enemies.
• If you try to change your style to an appearance already saved in a Beauty Slot, it will say it failed.
• There is a minor visual issue with the Beauty Slot text if you scroll up and down after expanding the Beauty Slot.
• The outline color when clicking on an empty Beauty Slot is incorrect.
• Fine Reforging Tools can still be obtained in the Eweca Orb.
• There is text cut-off in the Buy Item UI when buying the Royal Society Appreciation Box from Melwyn.
• The inventory image for the Mace of Mercy is incorrect.
• Feeding a Pet Instructor Stick to a Level 100 Spirit weapon will cause the character to freeze.
• If you had a unicode heart on your wedding ring, the heart appears as a question mark.
• The Shaggy Perm hairstyle can be saved in a Beauty Slot.
• Cobweb Mummy enemies do not appear in the Alby Advanced Dungeon.
• Guilds are not appearing in the Guild List.
• There are minor spacing issues in the Crom Bás quest dialogue.
• There are multiple typos in the Crom Bás quest, "Waves Amidst the Calm".
• There are minor text issues when speaking to the NPCs near the Crom Bás entrance.
• The Belvast Supplier's name changes when you open up their shop.
• There are minor text issues in the Crom Bás quest, "The Dark Beneath the Veil".
• During the Crom Bás quest, "The Souls Speak - Part 2", there is an issue during the shadow mission "Sleeves Wet with Bloody Tears" where the Continue button is not visible. This can be resolved by resizing the client window while in windowed mode, or entering/exiting fullscreen mode.
• The Dungeon Notebook incorrectly states that Heavy Armor Fragments can be obtained in the Ciar Advanced Dungeon instead of Light Armor Fragments.
• The Dungeon Notebook incorrectly states that Light Armor Fragments can be obtained in the Ciar Advanced Hardmode Dungeon instead of Heavy Armor Fragments.

Mabinogi will have a scheduled maintenance on December 9th. During this time, the game will be unavailable. Maintenance is expected to begin at 7:00 AM PST and last approximately 4 hours.

Dear Dutch Milletians,

We've updated more details on the trade functionality changes that we announced in our Notice for Netherlands Players: Part 2. In order to comply with Netherlands regulations, the following in-game trade functions will be restricted for Dutch players:

• Give and Receive items via 1:1 Exchange trade
• Item dropping
• Buy and Sell via the Auction House
• Mailing messages with items attached
• Personal shop sales or purchases (viewing other players' shops is still possible)
  • Even if you have a Personal Shop Bag, you cannot open a Personal Shop.
  • You can still buy the Merchant License from the Bank, but you cannot use it.
• Housing shop purchases (viewing items is still possible)
• Kiosk sales or purchases (viewing other players' Kiosks is still possible)
• Items given in exchange for an Enchant Entrustment
• Items acquired through pet battles
• Entering Uladh/Iria Dungeons using Item Drops, or touching the statue
  • If you are in a party as a party member, you can enter the dungeon with other players when they enter.
  • You can enter a dungeon if you use a Unlimited Dungeon Pass.
• Receiving Mail Delivery part-time jobs from the Tara Bank

The above limitations will be implemented during the December 9th, 2021 maintenance.

The one and only Master Plan event is back again! For this round of the Master Plan event, check out the new inventory rental from Agent Poe. Additionally, you will earn certificates that you can exchange for new rewards. Check out the details below.

Event Dates: Thursday, December 9th, After Maintenance - Thursday, March 3rd, Before Maintenance
[h2]Winter Master Plan Details[/h2]

• During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] An Invite to the Master Plan.
• Find Agent Poe near the Town Office in Dunbarton.
• Register a main character with Agent Poe.
• You will receive the following reward after completing [Guide] An Invite to the Master Plan:
  • 50,000 EXP

[h2]Weekly Quests[/h2]

• Each week, you will receive the weekly quest, [Guide] Choosing a Master Plan Coaching Quest.
• Talk to Agent Poe and click on Select Weekly Quest to choose up to 9 weekly quests to take on for the week.
• You will receive the following reward after speaking to Agent Poe and selecting the weekly quests:
  • 50,000 EXP
• Completing each weekly quest will also reward the following:
  • 100,000 EXP
  • Agent Poe's Certificate x20
• Incomplete quests will be removed every Thursday at 7:00 AM PST.
• The weekly quests that are available will be different depending on the week, so be sure to check in with Agent Poe to view the available quests.

[h2]Inventory Rental[/h2]

• After registering for a main character, you will receive the quest, [Guide] Master Plan Inventory Rental.
• Talk to Agent Poe and click on Request Master Plan Inventory Rental for more information.
• You will be able to use the Master Plan Inventory, which has a 15x10 inventory size for the duration of the Master Plan event.
• The Master Plan Inventory is accessible by clicking on the Master Plan Inventory bag icon in the top-right of your main inventory window.
• Once the event ends, the inventory space will be locked. No items can be put into the bag, but all items can be retrieved.
• You will receive the following reward after completing [Guide] Master Plan Inventory Rental:
  
  • 50,000 EXP
  • Agent Poe's Certificate x10

[h2]Event Schedule[/h2]

• Throughout the entire event period, the following buffs will also be active:
  
  • Free Repair Fee
  • Hero Talent (Starlet, Merlin, Culinary Artist, Professor J, Treasure Hunter) Free Rebirth
• The buffs will reset on Thursdays at 7:00 AM PST.
• Each week you can also receive one Rebirth Potion (Event).
  • The Rebirth Potion (Event) expires in 7 days.
• On Saturdays and Sundays during the event period, you will receive hotday rewards.
  • Claim the item to receive it on your character or choose Claim Later if you want to receive the rewards on another character.

[h2]Agent Poe's Certificate Shop[/h2]

•  Use Agent Poe's Certificates in the shop to exchange for event rewards.
• The weekly purchase limit for certain items resets on Thursdays at 7:00 AM PST.
• The Master Plan Special Potion and Ladeca Combat 4x EXP Potion (1 Hour) can only be purchased once during the event.

[h2]Celtic Weapon Rental and Pet Rental[/h2]

• During the event you will receive the quest [Guide] Agent W's Summons.
• Talk to Agent W at the Dunbarton Town Office to register a main character.
• The character cannot be a novice talent character or a pet.
• After talking to Agent W you will receive:
  • 20,000 EXP
• You can rent a pre-upgraded and pre-reforged (Rank 1) Celtic weapon of your preferred talent from Agent W.
• The rental is free; however, you can only rent one weapon at a time.
• Talk to Agent W to return your current rental then select a different Celtic weapon to rent.
• The weapon that you rent will have reduced durability.
• Rental weapons can only be used during the event period.
• You can also rent a Level 200 Bone Dragon (90 days).
• You can only rent one Bone Dragon per account.
• The rental pet does not have an inventory and it can be summoned for 90 days.
• The rental pet can only be used during the event period.

Collect Soul Shards and trade them in for items to help you in Crom Bás. Additionally, you can receive a giftbox from the dark Abyss. Patience is key so remember to wait before you open the box! Check out the details below.

[h2]Event Details[/h2]

• During the event, you will receive the guide quest, [Guide] Ghost of Crom Bás.
• Talk to the Ghost of Crom Bás in the Dunbarton Town Square.
• Register a main character with the Ghost of Crom Bás.
• You can only register one character per account.
• You will receive the following reward after completing [Guide] Ghost of Crom Bás:
  • 12,000 EXP
  • Soul Pouch
  • Irusan's Box of Bounty x1

[h2]Specters of the Abyss[/h2]

• You need to collect Soul Shards, which are stored in the Soul Pouch.
  • Use the Soul Pouch to learn how to obtain Soul Shards, view the current amount of Soul Shards you have, and check how many have been earned for the day.
• 200 Soul Shards can be obtained each day during the event period.
  • 50 Soul Shards are obtained upon logging in once a day.
  • Soul Shards can also be obtained when clearing the following dungeons or missions:

• The event resets daily at 7:00 AM PST.
• Talk to the Ghost of Crom Bás to Deliver Soul Shards to exchange Soul Shards for the following rewards:
  
  • Irusan's Box of Bounty - 100 Soul Shards
    • To view the reward list, click here.
  • Crom Bás Infiltration Ticket - 500 Soul Shards
    • Use this ticket to enter Crom Bás while under Combat Skill Level 1,500.
    • When entering Crom Bás, one ticket is consumed and removed from your inventory.
  • Crom Bás Reward Key Coupon - 700 Soul Shards
    • Use this coupon to open the Dungeon End Chest when clearing Crom Bás after reaching the weekly reward limit (7 times).
    • When entering the dungeon and clearing the boss, you will acquire a Treasure Chest Key and the Adamantine Coin reward for clearing the dungeon depending on the Dark Erg difficulty.
    • The Crom Bás Reward Key Coupon is consumed and removed from your inventory.
• Unused Crom Bás Infiltration Tickets and Crom Bás Reward Key Coupons will be removed once the event ends.

[h2]The Gift from the Abyss[/h2]
Event Dates: Saturday, December 11th, 12:00 AM PST - Wednesday, December 15th, 11:59 PM PST

• During the event period, log in consecutively for 3 days to receive and fully upgrade the Gift from the Abyss Box.
• The fully upgraded box, Gift from the Abyss Box (Day 3), includes 2 bonus rewards!
• You will receive the Gift from the Abyss Box (Day 1) by logging in during the event period.
  
  • Claim the box to receive it on your character or choose Claim Later if you want to receive it on another character. The box can be moved between characters through the bank.
• After receiving the box, you need to use it in order to upgrade it.
• The box can only be upgraded once per day.
  • The day resets at 12:00 AM PST.
• The box can only be upgraded from December 11th to December 14th.
  • You cannot upgrade the box on December 15th, but you can still open the box and receive rewards.
• When you receive the box, you should use the box at least once. 
  • When you click on the Open the Box button, the message will show you the reward you are supposed to get, and ask you if you want to Receive Now, or give up the current reward and Open Tomorrow.
  • If you click Receive Now, you will get today's reward, and the box will disappear. CHOOSE WISELY! You cannot get the next day's box or further upgrade the box if you obtain the prize on the first day!
  • If you click Open Tomorrow, you won't get today's reward, but you will get the next day's box. You can open it the next day, and do the same thing to upgrade to the final Day 3 box.
• You must open the box on or before December 15th. If you open the box after December 15th, you will receive 1 Golden Experience Fruit (100%).
• When you open the box, you can get one item at an equal chance from the reward list:
  • Gift from the Abyss Box (Day 1)
    • Unlimited Shadow Mission Pass (Event)
    • Unrestricted Dungeon Pass (Event)
    • Royal Academy Crystal
