Producer’s Letter: Summer Festival Continues! Timeline & More~

Dearest Milletians,
It is with a happy heart and no small amount of excitement that I can share new stories, updates, and reflections from the world of Mabinogi with you. While it has been a while since our last correspondence, I hope you’ve seen for yourselves what we have been cooking up. I'd like to extend my thanks to all of our Milletians who have been playing Mabinogi, following our update news, watching our livestreams, and engaging with everything else we have shared with you lately! There has been no doubt that Erinn brings connections to one another, and it has been delightful to welcome both new faces and community members from past and present eras of Mabinogi. We are sincerely grateful to have welcomed so many new Milletians and love to see them experiencing Mabinogi with fresh perspectives!
The Summer Festival has only just begun, surely made more fun with confetti and many piñatas for celebrating! We're excited to reveal a multitude of events planned for this summer, with many already underway and more to come each month. These events will offer numerous beneficial items and opportunities to enjoy the many facets of life in Erinn, from fashion to combat to character growth. It’s the best time to return to Mabinogi, and we hope you'll join us in the months ahead!

Coming very soon in July, the highly anticipated Sacred Guardian and Explosive Vanguard Arcana talents will make their debut! In addition to these exciting new talents, we’ll be introducing a variety of balance adjustments aimed at enhancing the overall combat experience. These updates will improve skill usability and strengthen synergy with existing Arcana talents. Additional adjustments to other Arcana skills are also on the way to ensure a more refined and engaging playstyle.
In particular, we focused on increasing the DPS of primary damage-dealing Arcana Talents, the Elemental Knight, Dark Diviner, and Alchemic Sharpshooter. We also worked to reduce many limitations and hurdles that Elemental Knights and Alchemic Sharpshooters faced, and as a part of it, we added two new skills for the Elemental Knight: Instill Elements and Flashing Steel. As for Harmonic Saint, our previous updates focused on increasing the effects of the healing ability, and this time the Music Buff link effect will be adjusted. We’ll also be making changes to how debuffs are applied in combat, creating more meaningful tactical opportunities. Finally, we are implementing fundamental updates to the Magic Attack damage calculation. Magic-based talents will now scale more consistently and intuitively, bringing their damage output more in line with the existing minimum and maximum attack power scaling used for physical attacks. Keep an eye out for specific details on these upcoming adjustments in our Update Notes!
In August, the Chapter 8: G27 storyline will be unveiled, introducing the Bri Leith Dungeon once the story is complete! We're excited to see where the Winds of Fate take us as our tale continues~ Milletians looking for the next challenge in the Bri Leith Dungeon may enter upon completion of G27 and reaching Arcana Comprehensive Level 200 or higher. The new retry system gives flexibility during battle allowing you to save your progress and retry the boss fight you’ve saved. A new reward system has also been added. Each time a boss is defeated, your party will be granted rewards that party members can roll on, with the highest dice roll winning the prize. Bri Leith Obles you obtain from clearing the dungeon can be exchanged for rewards in an exclusive dungeon shop. A new powerful weapon series, the Soul Liberator and its associated crafting materials and recipes will be available, along with new Enchant Scrolls to empower your gear.
These exciting additions are just the beginning of fundamental improvements to the game experience!
Many more upcoming contents for Mabinogi have been announced during the “New Rise” Fantasy Party event: \[Mabinogi Korea] 21st Anniversary Fantasy Party 'Summer Showcase NEW RISE' . While these updates are currently in the pipeline for Mabinogi Korea, we can broadly expect many of these exciting changes to come to our North American Mabinogi service as well. Our team had the opportunity to watch the livestream together with you in “Starlet’s Stage” in our Official Mabinogi Discord. Thanks to the Milletians who joined the party! In case you missed the broadcast, we recommend checking it out!

As we enter our soon to be 18th year for Mabinogi in North America, we want to thank all of our dedicated Milletians for your patience as we’ve worked on many updates to build a more stable and rewarding gameplay experience. As we move forward together, your continued support means the world to us, and we can’t wait for you to dive into all the exciting changes coming soon. The improved Mabinogi experience will be well worth it.
