Event Dates: Thursday, September 18th, After Maintenance - Thursday, November 13th, Before Maintenance

• Log in to receive the quest [Guide] Hellgate Investigation Participation.
  • No rewards are given for completing the Guide Quest.
• Find the Hellgate Researcher in the Tech Duinn Lobby to learn more about the increased dangers that occurred due to the newly spawned portal.
  • Unlike other events in the Summer Festival, you will not be able to teleport directly to the NPC.
• You’ll be asked to register a Main Character to partake in the event.
  • It’s recommended to register with your most powerful character on your account for this event.
  • Your registered character will need to have completed Generation 22 and access to the Tech Duinn Lobby.
• Hellgate Mode will take after the 4 regular Tech Duinn Missions with a significant difficulty increase.
  
  • Entering this mode will not count towards your Tech Duinn weekly limit.
  • You will not receive regular Tech Duinn rewards in this mode.

[h2]Entering Hellgate[/h2]

• Entering Hellgate requires Milletians to be in a party of 4 to proceed.
  
  • The created party cannot be a squad, concert, or mini-game party.
  • All members of the party will need to be the registered character on their account.
• The party leader will need to talk to the Hellgate Researcher to open the Hellgate UI Menu, allowing you to customize the difficulty modifier.
• The Hellgate UI Menu has 5 slots available to adjust the difficulty, ranging from Level 1 to Level 25.
  
  • Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones are required to increase the difficulty level.
  • Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones range from Level 1 to Level 5, empowering the modifier it is slotted into.
    
    • You can acquire these stones as an end reward in each Hellgate mission.
      
      • Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones received at the end reward will be determined by the Hellgate Level mission in the table below.
    • Alternatively, Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones can be acquired through Sealed Hellgate Level # Proving Stone Boxes from the Hellgate Researcher’s shop for 1,000,000 gold each.
      
      • Note: While you are allowed to purchase any level box from the shop, the highest level of your investigations from the week prior will determine the level of Proving Stone Boxes that can be opened.
        
        • Example: Completing only Level 13 as the highest level will only allow you to open up to Sealed Hellgate Level 3 Proving Stone Boxes.

• • Depending on the indentation the Sealed Hellgate Proving Stone is slotted into, the mission will provide different effects:
    
    • HP Increase:
      • Increases the health of the boss. The higher the level of the stone, the more HP the boss has.
    • Defense Decrease:
      • Decreases the defense and protection of players. The higher the level of the stone, the lower the characters’ defense and protection are.
    • Blighting Orb:
      • An orb will appear around the battlefield, rapidly losing health. Overhealing it will provide a buff to those within range. Failure to heal will cause a debuff to those within range.
    • Burning Earth:
      
      • The player furthest from the boss will be targeted. After a set amount of time, the ground beneath will begin to burn, dealing damage to any players still inside.
    • Withering Doom:
      • Continuous mark that will appear over the player closest to the boss, dealing damage that continuously stacks.
• Any party member can slot a Sealed Hellgate Proving Stone into the indentation on the UI.
• Players will start immediately at the boss of that level when entering.
  
  • Note: The Researcher is unable to learn everything about what's inside, thus turning to you. Milletians will need to work together to learn what's different about these bosses…

[h2]Hellgate Missions and Quests[/h2]
The Investigation is focusing on specific missions each week. As such, entry into other missions are closed until the appropriate week:

• The dates of when Hellgate Missions open are as follows:

• Investigations into each mission will reset weekly (Thursdays at 7:00 AM Server Time), in which you’ll be rewarded up to 20x Hellgate Remnants depending on how many challenge levels you and your party completed the week prior.
• In addition, the Hellgate Researcher will provide the player with 3 investigation quests with unique rewards.

After completing the quest Hellgate Investigation (Intermediate), you’ll be given an exclusive Hellforged Adventurer Ring Selection Box. Be sure to open it to choose between boxes, each containing a powerful ring allowing you to empower yourself with physical or magical enchantments of Hellgate. Be sure to open this box before the end of the event however… Hellgate will reclaim it otherwise.

• Log in during the event period to receive the quest [Guide] The Collected Collector’s Request.
  • Find The Collected Collector in front of the Unicorn Statue in Dunbarton.
  • You’ll receive a Stamp Employee Contract. Use it to register your account for the event, allowing you to participate on all characters.
  • Completing [Guide] The Collected Collector’s Request will award you with the following items:
    • 5,000 EXP
    • Pan's Support Selection Box x7
  Once registered, a calendar icon will appear on your screen.

  • You can view the calendar by clicking on the icon.
    • There are a total of 3 calendars with 28 days each, for a total of 84 days.
  • You can also view how many stamps you have, how much time is remaining before you receive your daily stamp, or how far along you are!

  
• An Event Clock Timer is also available so you can check your Daily Stamp progress at a glance without opening the Event Menu.

• You will only receive 1 stamp per day.
• Rewards that weren’t claimed from the event calendar can be claimed by talking to Lorna in various Uladh towns.
  • The rewards will be available for 3 weeks after the event ends from December 18th, After Maintenance ~ January 8th, Before Maintenance.
  • When talking to Lorna after the event has ended, any unclaimed rewards will be sent to the character's Point Shop Inventory.

    • Roll for initiative. You and your pet must make it around the board before your opponent and their pet - be prepared to duel it out and pray the dice rolls are in your favor.

    • Wanted to prove you were smarter than your friends in Code Cracker? Now’s your chance!
  • Wild Stampede
    • As the old saying goes, you don't have to outrun the animals, you just have to outrun your friend!.
  • Snowball Fight
    • Powerups? Dragons? Fireballs? I thought this was a friendly game of Snowball Fighting!?

• Unvisited Mana Tunnels and Moon Gates will be semi-transparent until visited for the first time.
• Right-clicking an item will now list options to search and list the item on the Auction House.
• When searching the Auction House: Pet Adoption Medals, Blacksmith Manuals, and Sewing Patterns will contain the full name.
• Preset Character Models have been refreshed for new accounts and premium character cards during character creation.
• The pop-up box will no longer appear when attempting to enter a dungeon room where a battle is active.
• When changing channels, you can now double-click the channel name in the list to move.
• Two new functions have been added to items when the Inventory Magnifying Glass window is open:
  
  • You can preview weapons, clothing/armor, and chairs.
    You can search items directly that are listable on the Auction House.
• The Auction House has added security measures to assist with your daily trading and shopping:
  
  • The warning message has been enhanced to give more notice when attempting to purchase or sell an item 90+% higher or lower than the average price.
  • Warning messages have been added when attempting to purchase non-repairable items that have 20% or less durability/use.
• Options for Hair Styles, Eye Shapes, Faces, and Mouths have been revised in the Dressing Room so the most recent additions will appear at the top.
• Sick of having to go outdoors to warp? We are too… so we’ve addressed that! You can now warp indoors when using the following warp functions:
  
  • The Arcana Room via your Character UI Menu.
  • Festia via your Character UI Menu.
  • Doki Doki Island via the Soulmate UI Menu.
  • The Star Citadel via skill use.
  • Guild Hall via the Guild Hall UI Menu.
  • Event NPCs through the Event UI Menu.
• Feedback heard! We’ve updated the Astral Reave Dan Tests to be slightly less difficult. You will now receive 35 points instead of 30 when attacking an enemy with Astral Reave.
• Additional search fields have had their case sensitivity removed:

• When picking up equipment from the ground, the logic has been modified so it will no longer be equipped to the character’s style tab automatically.

• The following appearance scrolls have been renamed to indicate that they are applied onto two-handed axes, not scythes, despite visually being scythes:

• Following the Magic Attack Changes in July, adjustments to ease the difficulty have been made to most RP missions where the Magic Talent is a focus.
• [Element] Alchemy skills have been properly unified in name, matching the format of the current Earth Alchemy Mastery skill:

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
We’ve been continuing to address G27 via several fixes throughout the month. Thanks for all the reports - we very much appreciate these, and we hope that you’re enjoying the story!

• Zap-happy Dark Diviners with Thunderblight and specific timing could accidentally destroy the enemies during one of the G27 cutscenes, creating a time paradox where nothing further would happen! ...Until you left and tried again, that is. The enemies have been adjusted to no longer be defeated during the cutscene.
• Fixed an issue causing the game to close when previewing one of the following chairs:

• Through your reports, we found and fixed a few more Sewing Patterns where the pattern had gone mysteriously blank.
  

Bugs fixed during the August 28th Maintenance

• Addressed the channel lag by adding new channels and redistributing channel population capacities. See the August 28th Maintenance Patch Notes for the full details!
• More text fixes added for Generation 27. We're still working on our polish for this Generation based on our own playthroughs and your reports, and we're still eternally grateful! More is yet to come as this giant-sized generation is brought to heel!
• As accidentally (we swear!) showcased by GM Quuku and GM Hongenjo during the Brí Leith stream, the hard cap on Protection was not set, allowing damage reduction to increase up to 100% instead of capping at 90%. This hard cap will be put in properly with this update, though this requires very high values that can be difficult or impossible for players to reach.
• In rare circumstances crafting recipes using the Destructive Crest that are expected to be 99.9% completion in one tap would incorrectly finish at less than this. Robes that were crafted in this incorrect way have been corrected automatically.
• The following armor pieces have been renamed to match their materials:
  • Saint Guardian's Leather Armor [M/F] -> Saint Guardian's Breastplate [M/F]
  • Saint Guardian's Leather Helmet [M/F] -> Saint Guardian's Battle Helmet [M/F]
• In order to properly reflect the multiple weapons that come with it, the following weapons have been renamed:

• Fixed some Generation 27 typos as reported by our Milletians.

• An e-2 error is occasionally causing in-game Player Reports to fail to send. In the meanwhile, if you need to submit a report we ask that you use our Player Support website.
• There are currently issues causing the Blacklist to not work as expected for some players.
• Under periodic conditions, Milletians will be temporarily unable to duel other Milletians.
