• Fixing a bug where account limits were unintentionally applied to Tech Duinn, Crom Bás, and Glenn Bearna. The limit will be reverted back to per character.
  • Note: The weekly limit of these 3 dungeons will be reset with this maintenance.

Hi Milletians,

We recently discovered that last week’s update unintentionally changed various weekly dungeon content to track account-wide instead of per character. This change was not intended, and we understand how frustrating it was. We’ve fixed the issue so that weeklies are counted per character again.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you to everyone who brought this to our attention, and for your patience while we got this sorted out!

Any adjustments to dungeon content will be implemented in our upcoming "New Rise" Update. We'll provide more details about this expansive update soon, and you may also check the [Notice] Removal of Apocalypse Raid - Subject Theta for additional information. Until then, please look forward to it!

Dear Milletians,

With our next update, “New Rise” in November, significant changes will be made to the core of Mabinogi itself, ranging from dungeons to gear. While we plan to provide more details of this expansive update soon, we’d like to inform you that due to these changes, the Apocalypse Raid - Subject Theta will be removed from the game with the release of this update. Due to the changes made in-game throughout the last few years, the dungeon no longer aligns with the recent balance direction and the structural changes that will be introduced with the New Rise update.

As a result, we have come to the unfortunate conclusion that its removal is necessary. However, we ask for your understanding as this content no longer fits the current game environment and has shown very low usage rates, leading to the decision to remove it.

This also means the following will also be removed from the game, or will be no longer available:

Items that will be deleted:

• the Shepherd of Lost Souls Journal Achievement (worth 10 points)
• An Urgent Request Quest
• Techniques - Guardian Impulse, Dynamis Rush, Steadfast Blessing

Items that can no longer be earned:

• Subject Theta Enchant Fragments
• Subject Theta 2nd Title Fragments
• Subject Theta Bag Fragments

While the sources for obtaining these items will be removed, the items themselves will not be deleted. If you no longer need them, please discard them using the [Destroy] function after the update. Players who have acquired the relevant titles, enchants, or Bag of Darkness prior to the New Rise update will continue to hold onto their rewards.

We apologize to those who enjoyed this dungeon, and those who did not have a chance to experience it, and hope that the numerous other upcoming changes will encourage you to try some of the other great content Mabinogi provides.

We are excited to announce that Mabinogi has officially expanded to more regions on the Steam platform! 

We have expanded our support so that players can choose to play through the Nexon Launcher or the Steam launcher as their preferred platform. Previously, Mabinogi on Steam was only available in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States.

Return once more to the Library of Secrets to help Soso piece back together bits of the previous Samhain stories! Doing so will earn you various Library Cards that can be exchanged for new and returning items. Make sure to take a trip down memory lane as you recover fragments of the past!

[h2]Starting Quest Guide[/h2]
Soso the booksprite has sent out an urgent request! Upon logging in during the event period, you will receive an Old Library Book and the quest [Guide] An Invitation to the Library of Secrets! Use the book to gain entry into the Library of Secrets and talk to Soso to learn more.

Access to the Library of Secrets will only be possible through the Library Book or through a saved warp method (Imp Pet, Recall Book, etc.) while the event is active.
Note that you will not be able to use the Library Book while in a map that has a field raid. 


Once getting acquainted with Soso, you'll be tasked with restoring the old Samhain records of the past in the Old Library Book. Each week on Thursday after 7:00 AM PT, you'll be given a Torn Page. With this, you'll be asked to complete a Samhain storyline that happened in Erinn in previous years! You'll be able to pick which storyline you want to complete for that week.

If one storyline is not completed within the week you won't be able to proceed to the next storyline. Make sure to finish one chronicle at a time so you don't mix the stories together!

Depending on the storyline you choose, you'll be given a questline to follow. The following stores are available for playthrough:

• Exploring Territories of a Shattered Past
  • Experience the story with both Part 1 and Part 2 of this adventure!
  • The narrative of the story has been remastered by our Localization team to be more impactful!
• Moonlight Dreams
  • Note: If you’ve received a 1st Title from the 2019 or 2022 event before, the title will be replaced with the title received from the 2022 event.
• Times Remembered, Times Forgotten

Note: Hot Day Events from previous runs of these events will not be active. Additionally, previous rewards from these quests will not be given. Instead, various amounts of EXP will be rewarded upon quest completion for previous Samhain event quests.

Once the records for each story have been remembered and collected, you'll be able to read them again from your Old Library Book!
Note: When beginning the questline for the Library of Lost Tales Event, you will also receive the quest Kristell's Request". You can complete this quest when proceeding through the Moonlight Dreams questline.

[h2]Daily Quest[/h2]
In case you get easily distracted, don't like the stories, or have a short attention span, you can also fulfill your weekly Torn Pages by completing various Mabinogi mini-games. In the midst of recalling all of the details of the Samhain stories, it's healthy to take a little break and play around, so try playing some of the newest mini-games released in the September 2025 Quality of Life Update! 

Milletians are also encouraged to participate in these mini-games daily to accumulate some rewards listed below.


[h2]Completion Quest[/h2]
All Milletians who are dedicated to restoring the magic of all three Samhain stories will also be given the quest [Event] Records of Samhain after registering your main character with Soso. Completing this quest will provide you with some unique (albeit temporary) rewards to help remind you of the scent of books from the library.
