The following bugs will be fixed:

• The in-game reporting function has been fixed and will no longer give an "e-2" error.
  • After further testing, this issue will require additional time to fix.
• We've cleaned up the few Pet Medals on the Auction House that were still untranslated.
• Spiders had filled in the entire back of the Cobweb Wings giving them a solid color. We've dusted those off so they'll display correctly just in time for Samhain season.
• We've renamed the following settings to be more clearer:
  • Open/Close Interface --> Show/Hide User Interface (UI)
  • Open/Close Character Name --> Show/Hide Character Name
• The Tiger Cub Whistle was refusing to accept its true colors earlier, but is now called the Yellow Tiger Cub Whistle.
• Lightning and Thunder Dragons pets? Too confusing. We've condensed the naming to all be just "Thunder" Dragons.
• We've cleaned up the naming convention of Stat Stones that were obtainable through past Samhain events to be more clearer.
  • Additional Stat Stone (Regular) --> Additional Stat Stone (Primary)
  • Additional Stat Stone (Secondary) --> Additional Stat Stone (Unique)
• Mandrakes are important for potion making! HP, MP, and Stamina 300 Potion RE now correctly lists Mandrakes as one of it's vital ingredients.

[h2]Event Details[/h2]
Event Dates: Thursday, September 18th, After Maintenance - Thursday, November 13th, Before Maintenance

• Log in to receive the quest [Guide] Hellgate Investigation Participation.
  • No rewards are given for completing the Guide Quest.
• Find the Hellgate Researcher in the Tech Duinn Lobby to learn more about the increased dangers that occurred due to the newly spawned portal.
  • Unlike other events in the Summer Festival, you will not be able to teleport directly to the NPC.
• You’ll be asked to register a Main Character to partake in the event.
  • It’s recommended to register with your most powerful character on your account for this event.
  • Your registered character will need to have completed Generation 22 and access to the Tech Duinn Lobby.
• Hellgate Mode will take after the 4 regular Tech Duinn Missions with a significant difficulty increase.
  
  • Entering this mode will not count towards your Tech Duinn weekly limit.
  • You will not receive regular Tech Duinn rewards in this mode.

[h2]Entering Hellgate[/h2]

• Entering Hellgate requires Milletians to be in a party of 4 to proceed.
  
  • The created party cannot be a squad, concert, or mini-game party.
  • All members of the party will need to be the registered character on their account.
• The party leader will need to talk to the Hellgate Researcher to open the Hellgate UI Menu, allowing you to customize the difficulty modifier.
• The Hellgate UI Menu has 5 slots available to adjust the difficulty, ranging from Level 1 to Level 25.
  
  • Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones are required to increase the difficulty level.
  • Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones range from Level 1 to Level 5, empowering the modifier it is slotted into.
    
    • You can acquire these stones as an end reward in each Hellgate mission.
      
      • Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones received at the end reward will be determined by the Hellgate Level mission in the table below.
    • Alternatively, Sealed Hellgate Proving Stones can be acquired through Sealed Hellgate Level # Proving Stone Boxes from the Hellgate Researcher’s shop for 1,000,000 gold each.
      
      • Note: While you are allowed to purchase any level box from the shop, the highest level of your investigations from the week prior will determine the level of Proving Stone Boxes that can be opened.
        
        • Example: Completing only Level 13 as the highest level will only allow you to open up to Sealed Hellgate Level 3 Proving Stone Boxes.

• • Depending on the indentation the Sealed Hellgate Proving Stone is slotted into, the mission will provide different effects:
    
    • HP Increase:
      • Increases the health of the boss. The higher the level of the stone, the more HP the boss has.
    • Defense Decrease:
      • Decreases the defense and protection of players. The higher the level of the stone, the lower the characters’ defense and protection are.
    • Blighting Orb:
      • An orb will appear around the battlefield, rapidly losing health. Overhealing it will provide a buff to those within range. Failure to heal will cause a debuff to those within range.
    • Burning Earth:
      
      • The player furthest from the boss will be targeted. After a set amount of time, the ground beneath will begin to burn, dealing damage to any players still inside.
    • Withering Doom:
      • Continuous mark that will appear over the player closest to the boss, dealing damage that continuously stacks.
• Any party member can slot a Sealed Hellgate Proving Stone into the indentation on the UI.
• Players will start immediately at the boss of that level when entering.
  
  • Note: The Researcher is unable to learn everything about what's inside, thus turning to you. Milletians will need to work together to learn what's different about these bosses…

[h2]Hellgate Missions and Quests[/h2]
The Investigation is focusing on specific missions each week. As such, entry into other missions are closed until the appropriate week:

• The dates of when Hellgate Missions open are as follows:

• Investigations into each mission will reset weekly (Thursdays at 7:00 AM Server Time), in which you’ll be rewarded up to 20x Hellgate Remnants depending on how many challenge levels you and your party completed the week prior.
• In addition, the Hellgate Researcher will provide the player with 3 investigation quests with unique rewards.

After completing the quest Hellgate Investigation (Intermediate), you’ll be given an exclusive Hellforged Adventurer Ring Selection Box. Be sure to open it to choose between boxes, each containing a powerful ring allowing you to empower yourself with physical or magical enchantments of Hellgate. Be sure to open this box before the end of the event however… Hellgate will reclaim it otherwise.

After completing each objective in the quest Hellgate Investigation (Advanced), you’ll be given unique second titles with visual effects for your character.

• Log in during the event period to receive the quest [Guide] The Collected Collector’s Request.
  • Find The Collected Collector in front of the Unicorn Statue in Dunbarton.
  • You’ll receive a Stamp Employee Contract. Use it to register your account for the event, allowing you to participate on all characters.
  • Completing [Guide] The Collected Collector’s Request will award you with the following items:
    • 5,000 EXP
    • Pan's Support Selection Box x7
  Once registered, a calendar icon will appear on your screen.

  • You can view the calendar by clicking on the icon.
    • There are a total of 3 calendars with 28 days each, for a total of 84 days.
  • You can also view how many stamps you have, how much time is remaining before you receive your daily stamp, or how far along you are!

  
• An Event Clock Timer is also available so you can check your Daily Stamp progress at a glance without opening the Event Menu.

[h2]Attendance Stamps[/h2]

• You now have even more ways to earn a stamp each day!
  • Complete any of the following to earn a stamp:

    • If you still have time remaining on your Event Clock timer and it is already 7:00 AM PT, the remaining time will not reset.
    • If you log out and log in after 7:00 AM PT the next day without completing the previous day's attendance, the remaining time you had is still counted and you can continue to stay logged in to complete the attendance.
    • Once the attendance is complete, for the two situations above, you can no longer continue with the current day's attendance.
• You will only receive 1 stamp per day.
• Rewards that weren’t claimed from the event calendar can be claimed by talking to Lorna in various Uladh towns.
  • The rewards will be available for 3 weeks after the event ends from December 18th, After Maintenance ~ January 8th, Before Maintenance.
  • When talking to Lorna after the event has ended, any unclaimed rewards will be sent to the character's Point Shop Inventory.
