Preview: Lurking Danger

Patch 83 will go live on the servers, enabling the upgrading of your jewelry, opens access to the Sky Cruiser Endeavor and brings some familiar dungeons back to Arborea. There’s also some freshly reworked quest series in the level 10 to 60 range.

Returning Dungeons



Verno and Manglemore are already waiting for you in their dungeons!

Demokron Factory opens to levels 66 (Normal) and 67 (Hard) and grants your 7-player raid group more insights into Dakuryon’s crazy experiments. You will also be able to loot new materials for upgrading your Circlets and Necklaces.

Meanwhile mendacious Manglemore waits for you on Manglemire and is sowing the seeds of confusion with his fine fibbery. If you defeat him, you’ll earn tokens that you can exchange for your rewards.



Event Dungeon Swap

Patch 83 has the Forsaken Island sinking back into the fog as it gets replaced by the Sky Cruiser Endeavor as event dungeon. You will have until the next patch to board Darkan’s flying battleship.

Fulminar will continue to welcome you to the spectacular underwater battle that takes place in Bathysmal Rise after the patch.

New Materials

Much like the rings and earrings in patch 82, from patch 83 you’ll be able to also upgrade your Ethereal necklaces and circlets. For this you will need purified ring fragments or Carved Adornments of a Holy Beast. You can find these new materials in Demokron Factory (Hard) or on Sky Cruiser Endeavor.

Quest Improvements

A host of quests on the path to level 60+ have been improved extensively: they can now often be completed in the optional 1 player instances. Additionally, monsters, boss monsters and loot have been better coordinated so that a more comfortable and fluid leveling process can now take place.
