Preview: The DPS Meter



Good news, dear TERA fans! A long-awaited feature is coming to TERA shortly before its 9th anniversary: a display showing the damage you and your party deal to your opponents!



The new feature will be added here in the West with patch 105. You’ll find out more about it in this preview. But before you read on, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll also be able to grab some new belts, brooches, and masks. On top of that, you’ll be heading back to Fraywind Canyon, which is making its return to the game!

The DPS Meter

To use this new feature, _Windows .NET Framework 4.8_ must be installed on your PC. This is a collection of tools that can be used by other programs (such as the DPS meter).

FAQ


**Can I launch TERA without installing .NET Framework 4.8?**
Yes, TERA can be launched as before, but you won’t be able to access the DPS meter.

**Can I turn off the DPS meter?**
The DPS meter will activate by default during boss battles. However, it can be deactivated in the game options.

**Which kind of opponents can I use the DPS meter on?**
The DPS meter can only be used for bosses displaying an HP bar. It is not active for regular monsters or players, and cannot be displayed here.

**Can I view old battle logs?**
Yes, the last 10 battles are saved if they have not already been deleted. However, no older logs are saved or displayed.
