[h3]It's been a few days since we started our playtests. During this time, you also sent us your feedback on our game.[/h3]

[h3]Because you're always our top priority, we've decided not only to take your suggestions into account in the further development of our game, but also to update the Playtest version of Zoo Simulator![/h3]

[h3]We hope that the update will bring you more fun from playing during the ongoing playtests![/h3]

• Fixed freeze on pressure washer first use

• Added Highlight that appears where the dirty surface is while holding the pressure washer (Press Q [or X/Square on gamepad] while holding pressure washer to highlight)

We decided to Playtest the Demo version because we plan to release a demo version very soon and we would like to hear the opinion of our community before the official premiere.

With the launch of Playtest, we launched the Steam page for the upcoming Prologue of the game. Zoo Simulator: Prologue will be a free version of the upcoming full game. Prologue is part of our release plan for Zoo Simulator, so we encourage you to add it to your Steam wishlist now so you don't miss the release.

[h3]The ZOO is finally ready for a grand opening so today we’d like to talk about the Visitors! 🙂

[h3]As soon as the ZOO opens people will start visiting your place but before that happens you’ll have to go through a few activities. 📝[/h3]

[h3]-> repair the enclosures
-> clean them
-> let the animals in[/h3]

The visitors will interact with the ZOO in a few various ways. For now they can approach the map at the entrance, go to the toilet, visit the hot dog stand and most importantly watch animals. 🦏

[h3]Once they’re done visiting, people will leave their reviews. Sometimes praising the object, other times pointing out what’s lacking. You can react to those reviews to raise the ZOO overall rating. ⏫ While reacting to the opinions can help you develop your ZOO, ignoring them may lead to a stagnation. It’s worth to keep that in mind. [/h3]



For the time being we’re still discussing whether or not the players should have any kind of interaction with them. If you have any opinions on that topic, we’ll be glad to hear all of them so make sure to let us know in the comments! 🙂

Welcome back to our ZOO! It’s been a while since the last devlog and in the meantime our place bought two new accessories to help you take even better care of all the animals in your garden! 🤩 Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

[h3]The first tool we’d like to discuss is the welder. [/h3]


Sometimes, fragments of the enclosures like gates may break and require repair. In the demo version, you’re going to encounter only one of such elements- the entry gate to the enclosure. In the final version, we plan to add more possibilities such as repairing fences etc. 🙂 Don’t ignore the damages to the enclosure as safety should always be a priority! After all, it’s all for the sake of both your guests and the animals in your care! 🦏


[h3]The second tool at your disposal is none other than the pressure washer! 💦[/h3]


The pressure washer will allow you to clean the enclosures. In the demo version, players will be required to clean the enclosure only before putting the animal inside but in the final version that’s going to change. 📝 The full version will require you to clean the enclosures every once in a while to keep the residing animal healthy. 🦁

It is in your best interest to not neglect this duty because not keeping the hygiene on an acceptable level will have detrimental consequences. 🙁 Not only will the animal feel worse but this will also lead to guest being less interested. As you can imagine, that’s going to make you have both less guests and income. 😿

As you can see, it’s extremely important to keep a close eye on the cleanliness level inside the enclosures 👀 as it does correlate with the amount of money you’ll be able to make, hence- your possibilities to grow and take better care of the animals you’ve already acquired.


[h3]Don’t worry! In the final version you’ll receive all the actual data through the computer in your office for easier surveillance 👍 [/h3]
