That’s right! 10 new animals will be available in the full version, are you ready to provide for all of them and face the challenges coming with diversity?

[h3]⛱️ New enclosures[/h3]
Your new animals will require specific conditions. We don’t want to leave you without help and that’s why we’re introducing 8 new enclosures!

[h3]🧰 New tools[/h3]
With the amount of work awaiting you in the full version we’d like to give you some additional tools to ease the burden. We’re happy to announce 2 new tools coming in the full version: wrench and water dispenser. The water dispenser is especially appealing as it’ll help you automate the water pouring giving you more time for other activities.

[h3]🔧New mechanic- tap repairs[/h3]
From now on the taps on the enclosures will break from time to time and require you to fix them.

[h3]🪑 New objects in the Building Mode[/h3]
25 new items for you to place via Building Mode. This will bring even more variety and customization to your zoo.

[h3]🌱 New plants and furniture variants[/h3]
We’re adding even more variety with the upcoming variants for the enclosure plants and furniture inside your office! Use them to make the zoo fit your vision even better than before!

[h3]🎒 New backpack mechanic[/h3]
From now on, equipment management will be easier and more convenient than ever before! This will undoubtedly be a great help in your everyday activities all around the zoo.

[h3]🚚 New mechanic- giving animals away to another zoo[/h3]
You don’t feel sure you can provide the animal with the care it deserves? You’ve just started developing your zoo and have limited space? Now you can ask another zoo to relocate your animal to their garden!

[h3]🎮 Rebinded controls[/h3]
You’ve been pointing out that some of the controls are unintuitive therefore we’ve introduced changes to them! We’re positive now you’ll find them more natural.

[h3]↘️ New mechanic- item deterioration[/h3]
It’s only natural that the items you use eventually break. From time to time you’ll have to do some maintenance work throughout your zoo. This will help you allow your guests to enjoy their stay more.

[h3]🤏 New mechanic- moving animals between enclosures[/h3]
You have to fix the enclosure but the inhabitants make it harder for you to proceed? Now you can move them to another free enclosure as a temporary home for the time you finish repairs.

[h3]🐟 New food types[/h3]
More animal variety means more dietary challenges- to make sure you can address all the animals’ food needs we’re introducing 2 new types of them- meat and fish.

[h3]🗑️ New utility item- trash can[/h3]
No one likes to spend time in cluttered places. To help you keep your zoo clean we’re introducing trash cans. They’ll help you have cleaner space suitable for kids!

[h3]🗺️ Map with a quick travel feature[/h3]
Sometimes there's too many things to do and you need to save as much time as possible. Use quick travel to instantly travel between the enclosures.

[h3]🏆 Progress awards[/h3]
Effort is most satisfying when it doesn’t go unnoticed. With the new progress awards you’ll be able to earn prizes for developing your zoo.

[h3]📷 New tool- camera[/h3]
Save the best moments of your animals and guests during everyday activities. Save all the breathtaking views and share them with your friends or other players on Steam!

[h3]💬 Lots of new tips, tutorial windows and clouds over objects requiring repair or interaction[/h3]
Empty bowls, broken objects or new mechanics? Now everything will be explained and displayed even better than before! Those indicators will be of great help to grasp all the necessary actions all over the zoo.

[h3]💰 New item- Donation Box[/h3]
Now the visitors can show their appreciation and help you develop your business with voluntary donations.

[h3]📱 Guests’ opinions system[/h3]
From now on guests will react to the development of your Zoo as well as some of your actions. Make sure you always behave to receive positive notes!

[h3]👍 Reworked rating and reputation system[/h3]
After the visits you’ll receive rating and positive or negative reputation depending on the visitor’s experience in your zoo. Quality of life improvements, keeping everything clean & fixed and making the animals happy is the key to running a successful zoo!

31 new goals for our most ambitious players to aim for! Will you manage to complete all of them?

[h3]⚙️ More options in the settings[/h3]
For the gameplay experience meeting all your personal expectations, we’re introducing even more options in the settings to adjust the game to your preferences.

We’re grateful to all of you who’ve been with us throughout all that time. Now as our journey together towards releasing our game is about to be finished let us share one final feature with all of you- the camera. 📷

We’d like to give you a way to save and share the best moments, your finest enclosures and anything else you’d like to show others. That’s why we’ve decided to implement a nice addition to your tablets- a camera which will allow you to capture any fleeting moment. 🤩


These photos will be available for you to save them on your computers. You’ll also be able to easily share them with others on Steam! With that you’ll be able to show everyone the carefree lives of the animals in your zoo! 🦁

Welcome back to our ZOO. In today’s devlog we’d like to introduce you to a new mechanic which is going to affect the daily life of your ZOO. It’s none other than the object deterioration system. 🔧

It’s only logical that objects deteriorate as you use them extensively. Sometimes one of the clumsier animals will destroy something while playing- it’s normal. Damaged objects become unusable, not to mention not appealing to both animals and the guests. One of the prime examples are information boards which are often used by the visitors of your ZOO.


That’s why in your ZOO some of the objects such as faucets, water dispensers or signs will deteriorate and require your attention.


To help you during the repairs we’ve introduced a new tool- wrench which comes very helpful in replacing faucets or fixing the dispensers. 🧰


Although, you don’t have to move your animals to repair the enclosures, spending time around destroyed objects deteriorates animals’ statuses.

That’s why if you’d like to keep your animals in the best condition we suggest moving the animals to other enclosures until you finish the repairs. 👍


If you don’t have a free enclosure to move your animal or would like to have different species in your ZOO but you lack space, you can sell the animals to other ZOO and regain the money spent on obtaining it. We suggest selling only animals in their top condition because neglected animals are worth less.

Introduction of this mechanic makes time management even more important. Keep in mind that your most important obligation is to the animals so make sure they’re always in their best possible condition! 🦏
