Welcome to the new devlog from our ZOO! 🤩 You may remember when we’ve mentioned the enclosure repairs/preparation process in the previous devlogs. At that time we’ve shown tools such as a hammer or pressure washer. Today we’d like to introduce you to two new tools that will come in handy while completing your tasks around the ZOO. 🧰

[h3]1. Shovel [/h3]
This tool will complement the work of the previously mentioned hammer. ⚒️ After all, dismantling the walls is only one of the steps to prepare the enclosure. Once you finish destroying them, you can’t simply leave rubble laying everywhere. To make this work quick and easy, you can use the shovel to collect it and dispose of it in the right trash container.🗑️



[h3] 2. Electric Screwdriver [/h3]
Sometimes you’ll need to fix objects like the blackboards next to the enclosures. They are essential parts of the enclosures because those are the places where you can hang the animal cards. 🦏 The problem is, you can’t do it before they’re fixed and that's where the electric screwdriver comes in handy!



On top of that, if you want to make the work even faster, you can always open your tablet and go to the special “Upgrade Tools” panel, where you can spend some money to make your work easier, quicker and more enjoyable! 👍

Welcome back to another monthly devlog from ZOO Simulator! 🦏 As we’ve already said, we’d like to give you as much possibilities as we can. That’s why we’re especially happy to present the topic of today’s devlog- the renovation system.


Throughout your gameplay you’ll be able to not only fix and change the animal enclosures but also other buildings. In general, the entire system can be divided into 4 separate categories:

[h3]Office 🖥️[/h3]
In the office you’ll be able to switch your furniture, they’ll be in different colors and styles so you’ll be able to find something that suits your individual taste. 🙂 Of course you’ll also be able to change the looks of the interior walls and floor.




[h3]Buildings 🏠[/h3]
It goes without saying you’ll also be able to renovate other buildings in your ZOO. We plan to give you the ability to alter the look of the exterior walls as well as the interiors. One of such buildings will be the warehouse.

[h3]Plants 🌱[/h3]
Here, we’re not talking about some pot plants but a big scale exchange of the vegetation inside your enclosures. To be able to access this feature, first you’ll need to hire a specialized employee- the gardener in the employee section. If you’re interested to what extent you will be able to alter the enclosures this way make sure to add the game to your wishlists on Steam because we’ll cover this topic in a separate devlog! 🤩

[h3]Miscellaneous 📝[/h3]
This category will contain other elements of the ZOO such as fences etc.

We’re thrilled to welcome you to this devlog. Especially so since the contents of this month’s devlog were inspired by the suggestions we’ve received from you! 🤩 We’d like to thank everyone who gave us their thoughts on the game.

The topic we’d like to talk about is the tablet. Many of you stressed that running from the enclosures to the office every time you want something is not convenient at all. We agree! 🖥️ Therefore we’d like to present our answer for this problem- the tablet.


[h3] Players will be able to buy it and essentially, the functions of the tablet are almost the same as those of the computer. 📝[/h3]

That’s right, almost… To be able to adopt new animals you’ll still have to make your way to the office but to compensate for the lack of this feature, you’re given a nice map access and camera! 🔥 By the way, if you take a closer look at the screen, you might figure out the topic of the upcoming devlog! 🙂

It’s not the only novelty introduced to the game. Another one is a sledgehammer! ⚒️ Before you put finishing touches on the enclosures and let your animals it, first you have to get rid of some old infrastructure. That’s where the hammer comes in handy! 💪 Use it to safely remove the old concrete walls. Below you can take a closer look at your new tool. 👍
