Vivat Slovakia Early Access - release date announcement
โŒ› The time has finally come!
The release of the first Slovak open-world game is just around the corner. Just writing these lines fills us, Team Vivat, with immense joy. If you're one of those who closely follow our work, you can imagine the challenge a project of this magnitude poses for a studio with a relatively small team and modest resources. Nevertheless, we are all the more proud of how far we've come over the years of development, with your unwavering support and enthusiasm.

We've showcased Vivat Slovakia at every relevant exhibition, interview, or lecture, and for a while, we even shared details directly from our workshop in the form of Vivat Wednesday development diaries. We want to continue this transparent approach with our community, which is why the next natural step for us is to give our players the opportunity to actually play Vivat Slovakia and not only evaluate but also directly influence its final form. For this reason, among others, as a studio, we had to realistically assess our time and financial resources and determine the most effective path to successfully reach our goal.
๐ŸŽฎ Vivat Slovakia in Early Access
Therefore, we've decided to release Vivat Slovakia in the form of Early Access. As a young game studio, we've grown alongside the project, often working from early morning until late at night. However, this has never diminished our conviction to deliver the promised title to everyone in the best and most complete form possible.

By releasing Vivat Slovakia in Early Access, we'll gain the second wind we so urgently require to bring this vision into reality. The game in this form will see the light of day on April 18th, 2024. Leading up to this important date, and of course, beyond it, we'll continue to work tirelessly on enhancing our virtual Bratislava and the captivating story we plan to tell within it.

Your insights and feedback drive our passion for creating unforgettable gaming experiences. We sincerely appreciate all the support. Thank you very much for being an integral part of the Vivat Slovakia project.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Questions and answers
Do I have to pay twice for cassette Side-A and Side-B?
No ๐Ÿค—. The Vivat Slovakia game logo showcases an audio cassette of recordings from the wild 90s. Those that lived in those times will remember that cassettes had two sides, which needed to be manually flipped in the cassette player. However, you only needed to purchase the cassette once, so with our game, itโ€™s the same - it's not episodic content that needs to be repurchased. When you support us by purchasing the Vivat Slovakia game in Early Access Side-A stage, the game will gradually transform into its final stage through free updates until Side-B. Purchasing Vivat Slovakia once is sufficient for the complete game experience.

When do you plan on releasing the final version?
We're fully committed to creating Vivat Slovakia, weโ€™re likely doing so right in this moment. Since both sides of the Vivat Slovakia cassette are the same game, the Early Access version will be regularly updated with new features and bug fixes. We'll remove the Early Access label upon releasing the second half of the story missions. The exact timing cannot be determined at this moment. However, we won't delay it unnecessarily, and if you follow our channels, you'll always be among the first to know all the details.

Will there be a different price for Early Access and the full game?
Yes ๐Ÿ”–. Our supporters during the crowdfunding campaign had the lowest price for the full game as a reward in the "I. level - Full game" tier. We'll offer a slightly higher but still reduced price for supporting the Early Access version of the game. The final price will be set upon completion of the Vivat Slovakia game.

Where can I find my StartLab rewards?
We're gradually adding crowdfunding rewards to the game. Therefore, many of the StartLab rewards will be available in the game upon Early Access release on the 18th of April, so don't hesitate to explore our virtual Bratislava to find them. If you want to be sure, check the rewards portal odmeny.vivatslovakia.sk to ensure everything is in order. By the release date of the second side of the cassette, or the complete Vivat Slovakia game, all correctly uploaded StartLab rewards for supporters should be fully implemented for all players to admire. ...And yes, even if you haven't been able to upload your reward details to us for over a year ๐Ÿคฆ, we'll still try to add them to the game later for everyone to see.

I supported you on StartLab, will I receive the Early Access version or only the second side of the cassette?
All StartLab supporters from the reward tier "I. level - Full game" will receive a key for Vivat Slovakia on the day of the Side-A release, the 18th of April. You don't have to wait for the full game release. Supporters of the "VII. level - Early Access" tier have the opportunity to play Vivat Slovakia even before the mentioned April release date. If you haven't used this opportunity yet, please let us know, and we can arrange it immediately. We strive to get the game to every player as soon as possible ๐Ÿค—.

On which platform can I play Vivat Slovakia?
Vivat Slovakia is being developed for the PC platform with the Windows operating system. At this moment, we cannot precisely determine the minimum hardware requirements, but we aim to optimize the game during development to run on a wide range of hardware. Simply put - if you play today's games, there's no need to worry.
