Steam Deck FAQ
Launching the game
If your game doesn't start up (and it closes immediately again), you can try to using a different Proton version: 6.3-8
My saves from the demo are gone!
Unfortunately this is due to the folder structure on Proton being different than Windows, but your saves aren't lost. We are working on a solution to automatically copy these files over, but for now you have to do it manually:
First, here is how to get to your files on Steam Deck:

First, here is how to get to your files on Steam Deck:

- Close the game.
- Go to:
/home/[yourusername]/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/3247140/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/appdata/Roaming/ - Copy the whole frameland folder
(this is the folder holding your demo saves) - Go to:
/home/[yourusername]/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2137750/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/appdata/Roaming/
(the difference here is just the end of the number: 2137750 instead of 3247140) - Careful!
If there already exists a frameland folder here, it means you already saved settings or have a savegame from the full version. Instead of deleting it, rename it to frameland2 or something, just in case. - Paste the folder in here
If there already exists a frameland folder, overwrite it (see above point to not lose data) - Restart the game.
Your savefiles and settings should all be restored from the demo.
If this doesn't work for you, here are a few more options:
- Here is a save file that is at the end of the demo: Savefile
(there will hardly be any differences unless you spent hours grinding).
Just copy it to the same location from above (step 4):
/home/[yourusername]/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2137750/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/appdata/Roaming/frameland - Make a post in the forums and we will try to help: Steam Forum
