COZY QUEST MULTIPLAYER DEMO NOW AVAILABLE!

We're being featured in Secretmode's COZY QUEST here on STEAM!

Join us from the 16th to the 20th as we play through the new BETA, talk about it's design, and voice our characters (poorly)!

Even better, we'd love it if you joined us by playing our updated DEMO that now has local multiplayer! You can now fend off the sog with a friend!!! Just don't fight over who gets to play as Traff ;)

BETA UPDATE!

The new BETA has been completed!


[h2]This new build includes:[/h2]

  • 2 NEW Bosses
  • 2 NEW enemies
  • VO Added to some key scenes (Detective Fuzz is not yet finalized ;) )
  • JOBS and secret new ones
  • Hidden areas
  • Training area mini-game for loot
  • NEW Music
  • Beginning of the Sugar Swamp area with related hazards
  • Optimization and Bugfixes
  • Enemy balancing
  • Item balancing
  • 5 NEW Agility Items
  • 3 NEW upgrade stations.
  • Added some highlights to the options menu when settings are selected.
Additionally, we THINK we may have fixed that odd inventory / UI bug that made it seem like you couldn't equip items, use the inventory, or options. This is 100% due to specific controllers acting odd when plugged in. We've done some work in hopes to fix this, but do not have a complete list of controllers that cause the issue yet. IF YOU ENCOUNTER THIS BUG - PLEASE REPORT IT TO US in game through the internal report menu! If you have another controller to use, please try using that one afterwards to see if it fixes the issue!

[h2]There are still some known bugs including:[/h2]

  • Rough VO for Detective Fuzz
  • Several missing SFX
  • Training Area Mini-game will have random encounters in the future, for now we've kept that off for additional optimization.
  • Cloud Factory has some odd behavior including entering from the ceiling, and some missing geometry
  • A couple areas have some pop-in due to recent optimizations
  • Using a finisher on enemies that are bubbled will often cause a softlock - don't do it!
  • Getting a perfect hit on an enemy as soon as they're hit with a box or barrel will make them stick to you.
  • Cloud Guys sometimes run with the wrong animation
  • AMD cards MAY have a shader bug that turns talking character darker than they should. This can usually be fixed by hitting the "PRTSC" (Print Screen) button on keyboard for some reason (we really have no idea on this one)

DEMO UPDATE & LAST WEEK FOR OUR KICKSTARTER!

Our DEMO has been updated with FINISHERS and NEW ITEMS!

Hello all! In honor of our Kickstarter entering it's final week, we've updated our DEMO! NOW it's the same as the popular "Combat Gauntlet" that we had at PAX WEST 2023 PLUS new features and items!

We've also done another pass at bug fixes and performance issues, with a goal for the BETA having a decent performance bump. Build notes and bugs fixed will come with the updated BETA once it's live!

This DEMO thankfully has some added band-aids to fix some of the more painful bugs that were popping up - including the UI / Options menu bug that was preventing people from using the inventory or changing their settings.

We're hoping this version of the demo addresses that issue for the most of you, but it may not fix it for everyone! We're prioritizing this bug and working on a full fix for it asap!

While playing the DEMO, IF you encounter any issues, we much appreciate it if you use the internal bug reporting feature that can be found in the options menu! This sends us a bug report directly, and is incredibly helpful in diagnosing and fixing these issues!
