Once Human Version 1.3.5 Update Announcement

Dear Metas,
We're planning a server maintenance and update on January 1 at 8:00 PM (PT). The maintenance is expected to last about 3 hours. Please plan your gameplay accordingly for the best experience.
Since Once Human's official launch, we've been closely monitoring community feedback and working on fixes and optimizations.
Below are the details of this update.
Character Deletion
1. You can now delete characters using the Character Management function.
2. After initiating deletion, there will be a five-day countdown during which you can cancel the deletion process. The character's name will still be reserved and cannot be taken by other characters during this time.
3. When the countdown ends, the character will be permanently deleted and removed from your character list.
Notes:
1. During the deletion countdown, you cannot use or make any changes to the character, so you should manage your items beforehand. After the character is deleted, all their items will be permanently lost.
2. After deleting a character, a character slot will be freed up on your account. The character limit per account is still 10.
3. If your character is mistakenly deleted, please contact customer support, and we will do everything necessary to recover the lost data in part.

New Wish Machine Prize Pools
After the update on January 1, 2025 (PT), three new Wish Machine prize pools will be available for 3 weeks:
- Money Rain: Includes the Legendary weapon blueprint 'Raining Cash.'
- Depth Charge: Includes the Legendary weapon blueprint 'Jaws.'
- Armored Cowboy: Includes the Legendary gear blueprint 'Cowboy Boots,' and the Savior Jacket, Savior Gloves, and Savior Shoes.

2. Food deposited into the Animal Trough will no longer spoil but cannot be withdrawn.

3. You no longer need to click on individual items to clear their red dots. Switching tabs will automatically clear all red dots in the previous tab.
After switching TABs, all red dots from the previous TAB are cleared.

Devs Talk - Visional Wheel Guide

Dear Metas,

We have been closely monitoring your experiences and have received countless thoughtful suggestions and feedback. Many of you have expressed a desire for greater variety and excitement in scenarios. In response, we are introducing the new Visional Wheel system in an upcoming update.
Visional Wheel Guide
1. The Visional Wheel is a mysterious multidimensional Deviation. Its origin is unknown and it cannot be secured. Once activated, it warps reality across all dimensions, triggering a range of anomalous phenomena in each scenario.

2. Scenarios affected by the Visional Wheel are known as Visional Scenarios and feature unique rules. These scenarios can be accessed via the sign-up system.

3. The Visional Wheel affects scenarios in three different ways:
Survival: Alters survival rules, environmental conditions, and resource distribution.
Combat: Introduces new weapon types and build changes.
Game Modes: Modifies the rules of specific game modes within scenarios.

4. Players delving into Visional Scenarios can earn valuable rewards, including exclusive Deviations and mods, by completing challenges.

5. Each Visional Wheel cycle lasts for approximately 2 to 3 months. At the end of each cycle, the Visional Wheel will spin again, generating new anomalies.
First Visional Wheel Cycle
The Visional Wheel will spin for the first time in January, introducing the first anomaly: 'Lunar Oracle'. A red moon blankets all dimensions in its crimson light. Familiar rules dissolve, and reality is plunged into madness... A doomsday that looms but never arrives will reveal itself once more.

Period: Mid-January – Late March

Phase Highlights:

January 16: 'Lunar Oracle' Visional Scenarios for Manibus, Evolution's Call, Prismverse's Clash, and The Way of Winter will be available (not including novice scenarios).

February 13: The 'Crimson Moon' event begins, including lots of amazing gifts.

March 13: 'Lunar Oracle' gameplay is upgraded as a mysterious shadow appears.

* For more information, go to Event > Season in the game.
Lunar Oracle Rule Adjustments

1. Survival Environment and Gameplay Adjustments
At dusk, a red moon will cast its anomalous light on the wilderness. Deviants will gain enhanced stats, while players will experience falling Sanity, which must be recovered by defeating enemies. Players also gain increased yield and special crate rewards when their HP is low.
Each scenario will have specific rule changes due to the Lunar Oracle.
Survival and combat difficulty in Visional Scenarios will also be significantly higher.

For more details, refer to the Lunar Oracle Guide: Lunar Oracle Guide
2. Combat Adjustments
a) Three new weapons will be available with the launch of 'Lunar Oracle':

Critical Pulse: A Power Surge crossbow with a unique charging mechanic. Crossbow hits will trigger chained Power Surges, generating Orb Lightning to deal massive damage. Harness the fury of the storm.

Primal Rage: An SMG with a special HP exchange mechanic. When out of ammunition, you can expend HP to continue firing this weapon. Life itself is my greatest weapon.

Hazardous Object: An explosive pistol that has a chance of triggering Unstable Bomber to deal lots of damage. Accuracy or power? I choose both!

b) Armor: Three new Key Gears and one new set will be available.

c) Mods: Several new mods and an exclusive mod suffix will be available.

d) Cradle: A new seasonal Cradle effect will be available.

e) We will also introduce balance adjustments to some weapons and Deviations.

Additional details will be revealed in an upcoming event preview.
3. 'Crimson Moon' Challenge Event
Starting in Phase 2 of the Visional Wheel cycle, players can earn Rubies by performing various actions in the scenario or completing challenges. Collecting Rubies will upgrade your event level and unlock rewards.
Rubies can also be used to redeem unique Paint materials, limited cosmetics, and other rewards.
4. Scheduling Changes to Other Scenarios
Since the current tags for Hard-difficulty scenarios offer a somewhat repetitive experience, the original Hard modes will be discontinued following the launch of Visional Scenarios.
To cater to players who find Visional Scenarios too challenging, regular scenarios of each type will continue to be available. The schedule can be viewed in the sign-up system.

That's all the changes that are coming to scenarios. Visional Wheel is a major update to Once Human and requires your support. If you have any feedback or suggestions regarding the content above, please leave your comments below or let us know via the Co-Dev Feedback Platform and online communities.

Lunar Oracle Guide

For more details, refer to Devs Talk - Visional Wheel Guide: Lunar Oracle Guide

In 'Lunar Oracle' Visional Scenarios, the Lunar Oracle is active from 21:00 to 03:00 in-game time (about 15 minutes in real life). A red moon will rise over Nalcott, bringing dangerous changes to the world, but rewarding Metas for their courage. During this time, the lower your HP, the more resources you'll collect. High risk, high reward!
Lunacy
During a Lunar Oracle, all players will be infected with Lunacy. Lunacy causes your eyes to glow red, plunging you into a frenzy of desire.

Lunacy causes you to steadily lose Sanity, down to a minimum of 20%, when outside your territory. It also greatly reduces your Sanity recovery rate, requiring you to defeat enemies to recover Sanity. However, Lunacy also grants you a resource acquisition buff that grows stronger as your HP falls.

During a Lunar Oracle, you can earn Moon Whispers by defeating enemies and participating in various game modes. When you have Lunacy, the lower your HP, the more Moon Whispers you will obtain. Moon Whispers are time-limited and must be used before they expire.

If you die, the red moon will grant you a blessing that protects you from Lunacy during the current Lunar Oracle. You will also lose a certain quantity of Moon Whispers based on your Sanity level at the time of death. The lower your Sanity, the more Moon Whispers you'll lose.

When infected with Lunacy, you'll be able to see the world's true form, allowing you to discover hidden Oracle Crates in settlements and more deviated plants in the wilderness. However, gathering resources in the wilderness will carry the chance of triggering Deviant attacks.
Wilderness Changes
During a Lunar Oracle, Deviants in the wilderness will go berserk and become shrouded in a crimson mist, growing more aggressive and dealing increased damage. Unique Elite enemies will also appear, targeting Metas in settlements.

Oracle Crates will appear in settlements and can be unlocked using Moon Whispers. These crates come in different grades, each requiring a different amount of Moon Whispers to open. Inside, you'll find exclusive formulas that will significantly enhance your abilities. Oracle Crates also contain mods with the 'Lunar' suffix, Lunar animal skins, unique animals, and Lunar Oracle Morphed Deviations.

If The Prime War or Stronghold Conquest is started during a Lunar Oracle, the game mode will also be affected by the wilderness changes and Lunacy. If a Chaosweaver descends during a Lunar Oracle, the region will be affected by both the Lunar Oracle and the blizzard or volcanic storm.

Once Human Version 1.3.4 Bug Fixes (December 26)

Dear Metas,

Since the official release of Once Human version 1.3.4, we have been gathering community feedback and actively addressing your concerns. Here are the latest fixes we have implemented:
1. Fixed an issue where the game would freeze while compiling shaders.
2. Fixed an issue where the Fast Gunner effect would block the crosshairs when in first-person mode.
3. Fixed an issue where submitting a photo to the Photo Frame would fail due to timeout if the network connection is poor.
4. Added a function that lets you recall lost animals. You can see which animals are lost and recall them to your Backpack from the Animals list.
5. Fixed an issue affecting water pipe flow.
6. Fixed an issue where the visibility of pipes and wires in the territory would sometimes be reset.
7. Fixed an issue where resources from the water cycle would not be deposited into the Water Tank. Resources in the water cycle will now flow into downstream facilities as outputs. If they cannot be converted into further outputs, they will be stored in the Water Tank. If no space is left in the Water Tank, they will remain in their original facility.
We will further refine the territory's water cycle system to minimize stoppages caused by specific facilities in the production chain, thus simplifying resource management and planning.
8. Fixed an issue affecting Wish Machine blueprint fragments.
We have received feedback about duplicate gear blueprint fragments drawn from the Wish Machine disappearing.
In fact, duplicate gear blueprint fragments do not disappear, but are automatically converted into armor set fragments for the same item, which can be found in the Blueprints backpack.
We will add a tutorial addressing this mechanic to prevent further misunderstanding.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
9. Fixed an issue affecting the Deviation guarantee mechanism.
10. Fixed an issue affecting the appearance of some models.
11. Fixed an issue with excessive camera shake when driving the Off-Roader at high speeds.
12. Fixed an issue where the player could not dismount the Pickup Truck if the location overlapped with a building.
13. Fixed an issue where the trigger chances of certain weapons and gear were incorrect (including the Desert Dust Mask's reload chance, the Tattoo Pants' reload chance, and the Bullseye's chance of triggering The Bull's Eye in conjunction with the Old Huntsman Boots).
14. Fixed an issue affecting the appearance of some items in the Shop.
15. Fixed an issue where construction was impossible in shallow water.
16. Fixed an issue affecting the MG Turret's damage stats.
17. Fixed an issue where the player would randomly get teleported while in the wilderness.
18. Fixed an issue where transformation facilities would sometimes have abnormal output.
19. Fixed an issue where an extreme minority of players would encounter errors while sending greeting cards.
20. Fixed an issue where the Bounce effect would not trigger if there were too many buildings nearby.
21. Fixed an issue affecting the display of stat details on the Armor Workbench's crafting screen.
22. Fixed an issue where some players could not trigger the Cradle cutscene during the novice tutorial.
23. Fixed an issue where Prism Deviations would sometimes produce output too quickly in Prismverse’s Clash.
24. Fixed an issue where the novice tutorial sometimes could not be completed if Prismverse’s Clash or The Way of Winter was selected with a new character.
25. Previously, the Grow Light's illumination range did not match its effective range. This issue has been fixed in the current update, but this caused some previously installed Grow Lights to no longer provide adequate coverage. To resolve this, we have increased the vertical range of the Grow Light so that previously installed Grow Lights continue to function as intended.
26. Fixed an issue affecting the offline output rate of mining and oil-refining facilities.
27. Fixed an issue where Chaotic Cortexes would sometimes be moved to the Vault when relocating the territory.
28. Optimized the drop rate of Prism Deviations when using Electric Drills or the Electric Chainsaw.
