Out of all the free-to-play open-world games to launch in 2024, Once Human is undoubtedly one of the most impressive of the bunch. The survival game has drawn in an enormous player base with its fun co-op offerings and recently launched new PvP modes. However, the game has been plagued with cheaters, something Starry Studio is taking quite seriously.

Dear Metas,

To uphold fairness and foster a positive gaming environment, we are determined in our efforts to combat cheating and the malicious exploitation of bugs. Several measures have been implemented to tackle these issues:
1. We will maintain 24/7 monitoring to detect abnormal behavior in real-time and respond promptly to reports.
2. Players confirmed to be using cheats will face severe penalties, including long-term account bans, to ensure the game's integrity.
3. We place a high priority on fixing bugs and enhancing game security. Malicious exploitation of bugs will not be tolerated. After a bug is fixed, we will penalize players who exploited it and reclaim any illicit gains.
4. We are always cracking down on cheaters and platforms that sell cheat plugins. If you encounter any suspected cheaters in the game or discover anyone selling or promoting cheats for Once Human, please report them to us via email, providing as many details as possible so that we can address the issue in a timely manner.

Once Human Bugfixes: September 29

Dear Meta,

We're committed to addressing your thoughts in the Once Human community, and to resolving issues and enhancing the game accordingly. Here's a summary of the fixes we've implemented:

1. Fixed the issue that Rift Anchor rewards were distributed incorrectly.
2. Fixed the issue that some texts overlapped in the Season Sign-up screen.
3. Fixed the issue that images in The Northern Tour screen displayed incorrectly.
4. Fixed the issue that some players couldn't enter The Northern Tour event.
5. Fixed the issue that some materials couldn't correctly snap and attach in Construction mode.
6. Fixed the issue that players sometimes couldn't open the door in their territory.
7. Fixed the issue that some players were having trouble logging in.
8. Fixed the issue that the game would freeze when players upgraded their accessories in the Vehicles screen.
9. After you sign up for a new scenario and enter it, the mail in your mailbox will be deleted. To make sure that you don't miss any unclaimed compensation and rewards when this happens, you will now automatically claim all the mail from the previous scenario, and the items included in the mail will rotate according to the seasonal item rotation rules. For more details, please see the seasonal carry-over mechanic description in the game.
①For items that can be carried over across seasons, you'll automatically claim the current characters.
②For items that can be rotated to Eternaland, they will rotate to your Eternaland Depot as you enter a new scenario.
③For items that cannot be carried over across seasons, they'll be discarded.
10. If you accidentally forgot your Deviations and left them in the Securement Unit in your friend's territory when you signed up for a new scenario, those Deviations will be returned to your Spacetime Backpack when your friend leaves their current scenario or when they demolish their Securement Unit. If you encounter any difficulties, please feel free to reach out via the feedback platform or our customer support.

We've received much feedback since the official release of Once Human. We take your opinions and suggestions seriously and have already implemented many updates in response. To streamline the process of gathering feedback and help us better understand your needs, we have launched the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform.

1. What is the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform?
The Once Human Co-Dev (short for co-development) Feedback Platform serves as a bridge connecting Once Human's development team to its players. On this platform, you can report any bugs you encounter in the game and offer relevant suggestions. We will then review your feedback and adjust our development priorities accordingly.

2. How do I access the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform?
In the game, press Esc, and find the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform at the bottom.
Outside the game, visit and log in to access the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform.

3. What kind of feedback can I submit on the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform?

Bugs
Describe the bug as clearly as possible, including location, steps to trigger (what you did before and after the bug occurred), and the frequency of occurrence. This will help us to identify and fix the bug.
Suggestions
We welcome any suggestions you may have for the game. Your suggestions will be reviewed, compiled, and passed on to our developers, and we will provide regular updates on them through Dev Talk and Developer Notes. Let's improve Once Human together!

4. What languages are supported on the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform?
As the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform is still in beta, only English is currently supported. We are working to improve the platform and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Lightforge Loot Crate Probability Announcement

While the Lightforge Loot Crates are available, you can spend Lightforge Ingots to open them. Each Loot Crate is guaranteed to yield cosmetics. Only one character under each account can redeem and open a single Loot Crate, but the cosmetics from the Loot Crate can be used by all characters under that account. Use you can different characters for different crates.

1) The Lightforge Loot Crates are available for a limited time and will be removed after the event ends. Unused Lightforge Ingots and Lightforge Relics will remain available in your account and can be used for other Lightforge Loot Crates.
2) Each crate opening costs 1 Lightforge Ingot, valued at 160 Crystgins. The first 10 Lightforge Ingot purchases will be at half price. Each crate randomly grants a Lightforge Crystal or cosmetic reward. Once the maximum number of crate openings is reached, further openings are not allowed.
3) Lightforge Crystals are a new mechanic. You can draw and use Lightforge Crystal Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ to select a reward from the Treasure (Ⅰ), Legend (Ⅱ), and Grand (Ⅲ) Lightforge Collection respectively (no duplicates allowed). There is a limit to the number of Lightforge Crystals that can be drawn per Lightforge Celebration Crate theme. A special guarantee rule applies:
- Every 30 crates guarantees one Lightforge Crystal, and the number of Lightforge Crystals drawn will not exceed the number of corresponding selectable Lightforge Collection items. Once a Lightforge Crystal is obtained, it will be removed from the prize pool, increasing the odds of other rewards.
- When a Lightforge Crystal is drawn, the guarantee counter resets, and the next one can be obtained within 30 crate openings.
- After all Lightforge Crystals are drawn, the guarantee no longer applies, and only other repeatable rewards can be obtained.
*If you obtain a Lightforge Collection item through redemption, you may still obtain it from Lightforge Crystal Self-selection, but duplicates will be dissembled and refund the redemption cost in full.
4) Non-Lightforge Crystal cosmetics may be drawn multiple times. Duplicates will be converted into Lightforge Relics, which can be used to redeem for other Lightforge Loot Crate cosmetics in the current or other events, as well as for limited Lightforge Ingots and Colorful Badges.
5) Each Lightforge Loot Crate theme comes with its own unique limited-time discount, and these discounts are independent of one another.
6) Only one character per account can participate in a specific theme's Lightforge Loot Crate, but the cosmetic rewards can be shared with other characters on the same account.
