Once Human Bugfixes: October 14

Dear Meta,
Since the official release of Once Human version 1.2, we have been gathering community feedback and actively addressing your concerns. Here are the latest fixes we have implemented:
1. Fixed an issue where the Bright Cloudlight outfit had clipping problems under certain conditions.
2. Fixed an issue where the Bear Adventure Headwear headpiece caused hair to disappear.
3. Fixed an issue where players couldn't successfully invite friends to the H37 Unstable S-Vessel event.
4. Fixed an issue where melee executions would occasionally fail.
5. Fixed an issue where the Snowfield Adventure avatar wouldn't unlock after collecting all Lightforge Collection items from the Cloud Command Lightforge Loot Crate.
6. Fixed an issue where RPG7 and MGL ammo were blocked by water, preventing attacks on underwater targets.
7. Optimized the experience of opening season goal crates in the Prismverse's Clash scenario. The Legacy of Conflict crate no longer contains non-cosmetic rewards like grenades.
8. Optimized unbuildable areas in Public Crisis Events and around teleportation towers to prevent players from exploiting them, which would affect other players' experiences.
9. Fixed an issue where players sometimes couldn't relocate their territories.
10. Fixed an issue where construction prompts incorrectly displayed that structures exceeded the territory limit.
11. Fixed an issue where players could farm resources using MG Turrets crafted from the "Bullet Storm" Memetic Specialization.
12. Fixed an issue where the Wild Party - SN700 weapon skin caused abnormal spread, which would affect the shooting experience.
13. Fixed an issue where territory Deviations didn't lose Deviant Power when attacked. Now, Deviant Power will decrease accordingly, and when it's depleted, the Deviation will automatically return to the securement unit.
14. Fixed an issue where the promotional videos for The Way of Winter displayed incorrectly in the game.
15. Fixed an issue where players in the Prismverse's Clash scenario sometimes encountered errors when relocating territories in damaged states.
16. Fixed an issue where the "General" tab in the HUD chat interface didn't remember the chosen channel after sending a message.
17. Fixed an issue affecting some terrain features near the "Refinery Pollution Point" settlement.
18. Fixed an issue where the teleportation tower icon and settlement level recommendations displayed incorrectly in the Prismverse's Clash scenario.
19. Fixed an issue where materials wouldn't be returned to players if they dismantled a facility before completing its crafting queue or claiming it.
20. Fixed an issue where players couldn't reuse unlocked formulas (recipes and furniture formulas). Now, reusing an unlocked formula grants a completed item directly.
21. Fixed an issue where Leopard younglings had overly high Maturity and overly long growth periods.
22. Optimized the visual display of faction Prism Energy bars in the Prismverse's Clash scenario.
23. Added the "Battle" suffix mod for exchange in the Sproutlet Shop in the Prismverse's Clash scenario.
24. Fixed an issue where players couldn't use access cards to open doors at the Wild Dog Isle Outpost Settlement.
25. Fixed an issue where Cosmetic Tokens were awarded in the Prismverse's Clash Loot Crate when no duplicates were obtained.
26. Fixed an issue where the displayed price for purchasing the Prismverse's Clash Loot Crate didn't match the actual cost of 2,700 Mitsuko's Marks.
27. Fixed an issue where Prism Deviation spheres occasionally moved into safe zones, making them unreachable.
28. Fixed an issue where the Public Crisis Event Dig to Hell's entrance was inside a safe zone, preventing players from bringing Prism Deviations out.

Once Human Fair Play Announcement (September 23 – October 8, 2024)

Dear Metas,
To uphold fairness and foster a positive gaming environment, we are determined in our efforts to combat cheating and the malicious exploitation of bugs. Several measures have been implemented to tackle these issues:

1. Players using vehicles to obstruct passages
In the game, players can now report vehicles, making it easier for us to deal with vehicle-related violations. As we understand that some obstructing vehicles may have been left by accident, the first offense will result in a warning via in-game mail. If the same player is reported by multiple users and is determined to be acting intentionally and maliciously, we will issue a penalty appropriate to the specific case.
To prevent unused vehicles from creating obstructions in the wilderness, we will be making relevant adjustments in future patches. Unused vehicles, except for RVs, shall be automatically recalled after a set period. Meanwhile, RVs will have clearly demarcated no-parking zones (such as at Stronghold entrances). Any RV left in a no-parking zone will be automatically recalled. We hope these changes will result in a more pleasant and enjoyable game. Thank you for your understanding and support.
The following is the list of players penalized for exploiting game mechanics (using a vehicle or building to obstruct passage) from September 23 to October 8:
List of Penalized Players
2.Cheating
We have increased the penalty for using cheats and hacks from a character ban to an account ban. Furthermore, the penalty may be extended to alternate accounts belonging to the same player. We will also closely monitor and combat the use of alternate accounts for resource farming.

3.Exploiting Bugs in Stronghold Conquest
Once verified, we will impose retrospective penalties on players who exploit bugs or use hacks in Stronghold Conquest, and announce which Warbands they belong to. We will also closely monitor Warbands that exploit bugs repeatedly. If necessary, we will impose restrictions on the offending Warband, including banning its key players from Stronghold Conquest or, in serious cases, forcibly disbanding the Warband.
Any player who exploits bugs after the publication of this Fair Play Announcement will be punished with an account ban of at least 30 days. We will also extend the ban to any alternate accounts belonging to the player.

4.Exploiting Bugs in Prismverse's Clash
We emphasize again that exploiting bugs to break the rules and affect the gaming experience is strictly prohibited. We have already issued the notice titled 'Penalty Rules for Prismverse's Clash' regarding this issue. If you encounter any prohibited behavior, you can report it in the game or to our customer support team. Offenders face an account ban of at least 30 days, annulment of their personal Contribution and Prism Energy, and demolishment of any offending buildings.

Once Human offers free rewards as compensation for lag woes

Starry Studio is apologizing for ongoing lag problems in Once Human, and offers up a slate of free items as compensation. There's also a three-step plan in place to remedy the free Steam game's connectivity problems, which is set to come into force in October and beyond. There have been lag issues since Once Human launched earlier this year, but their repetitive nature continues to put a dampener on the experience.

Apology from Dev Team - Regarding Lag Issue

Dear Metas,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the recent lag issues many of you have been experiencing. Your gameplay experience is our top priority, and now we're fully committed to resolving these issues. Here's our current plan and progress:
Step 1: On October 11, we released the first round of server performance optimizations.
Step 2: On October 17, we'll implement the second round of server performance optimizations.
Step 3: Ongoing optimization phase. Following these two rounds of optimizations in October, we expect to resolve some of the lag issues. However, due to the complexity of the issues, our development team is still working tirelessly to address them fully. Please give us a bit more time, and we'll release further lag optimizations as soon as they're ready.

To express our heartfelt gratitude for your patience and support, we'll be issuing a server-wide compensation on October 17, which includes:
-Starchrom x1,000
-Mitsuko's Mark x150
-Stardust Source x 200
-Gunpowder x30
-Canned Seafood in Oil x1.
In addition, on October 17, we'll launch a new PvE scenario, The Way of Winter, where all Metas can redeem a Server Exit Card for just 1 Mitsuko's Mark in the Season Shop to join the scenario right away. We've made several optimizations specific to this scenario, which should significantly reduce lag issues. We encourage you to experience this new content.

Ongoing optimization to ensure smooth gameplay remains our highest priority. If you encounter any issues, please contact us via the in-game Co-Dev Feedback Platform or our Discord Feedback Desk. Thank you for your understanding and support.
