Delay in Cross-Character Paid Content Sharing for the Same Account

Dear Meta,

Due to recent server instability, we have spent a significant amount of time optimizing the online issues. As a result, we have to postpone the release of the feature [Cross-Character Paid Content Sharing for the Same Account] from August 1 to August 15 for more comprehensive testing and validation. After the update on August 15, your paid assets will be accessible by any character under the same account. Please refer to the previous announcement for more details: https://www.oncehuman.game/news/update/20240714/40780_1167019.html‘’

To express our regret for the delay of this anticipated feature, we will give each one of you a [Formula: Upholstered Storage Chest] following the update on August 1. With this formula, you can change the appearance of the Large Crate in your territory. The [Formula: Upholstered Storage Chest] is our exclusive cosmetic gift to Metas for the cross-character sharing feature. Once the [Cross-Character Paid Content Sharing for the Same Account] feature launches on August 15, you can use it with any character under your account.
Collection Period: After the August 1 update until the maintenance on August 15. Please log in to claim your gift promptly.
*[Formula: Upholstered Storage Chest] will be available in the shop in the future.

Thank you for everyone's support along the way!

Once Human Bugfixes: July 27

Dear Meta,
Since the official release of Once Human, we have been gathering community feedback and actively addressing your concerns. Here are the latest fixes we have implemented:

[July 27th]
Fixed the issue that Power Generator would return double the material cost in some situations.
Fixed the issue of respawn points in Stronghold Conquest. Previously, the respawn mechanic didn't work as intended, so some Metas could respawn at random locations.
Fixed the issue that the Territory Purification interface information wasn't displaying in some situations.
Improved the locations where Starchrom would drop in Territory Purification.
Fixed the issue of incorrect yields after fertilizing plants and crops.
Adjusted the spectator system so that players can now spectate in only Stronghold Conquest or Dungeons.
Fixed the issue that Shadow Hounds wouldn't show the weaknesses they were going after in Dungeons in some situations.
Fixed the issue that Shadow Hounds couldn't get stuck in the air after teleporting in The Prime War.
Fixed the issue that House Blueprints could disappear incorrectly in some situations.

You shouldn't bet on Once Human getting an FPS mode, even if its developer says "elements" might be considered down the line

If you're a Once Human fan hoping for an FPS mode, you probably shouldn't as developer Starry Studio has no plans for one.

Like any time a third-person shooter releases, Once Human has some fans that would like a first-person mode, kind of ignoring the fact that when a game is built a particular way, something like that can break it in unexpected ways. As spotted by PCGamesN, an update was shared by Starry Studio responding to some commonly brought up topics, which also included things like character, controls, and the camera. Speaking on the FPS point, Starry wrote, "Including a first-person perspective may result in conflicts with the current game design. In response to your requests, we will consider adding first-person elements into future scenarios and game modes. However, we have no plans to add a first-person perspective to the game at present."

Essentially, don't expect it for the main game, if at all, as again it is a third-person game after all. In more positive news, Starry did also confirm that the 0.3 second delay before your character starts to move is being removed, writing, "The movement windup animation consists of about 20 movements and is quite intricate, so refining some of the details will require some time." It also noted that Vaulting is being upgraded, with a plan to change things so that "the character only begins vaulting after reaching a certain height," as right now you vault and jump at the same time.

Territory Anomaly Issue Fixed Announcement

Dear Metas,

We have completed the fix for players with territory data anomalies and have issued compensation. All demolished facilities and building materials have been returned to the vault.

If your territory still experiences any abnormalities, please contact us through the feedback channel on the official Discord. We will assist you in checking and resolving the issue.

Due to the complexity of the territory data, it took us some time to resolve the issues, and we want to express our gratitude to all Metas and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your continuous support and understanding.
